    Party Chipotle Ranch Fry

Quick Sunday snack with the kiddos! The sandwich was perfect, it's really been a while since I had one; soft bread fresh veggies, yum! My kids tried the fries. Definitely recommend the ranch bacon over the cheesy fries, but that's just our opinion. The manager Haylee was nice and took care of us... we'll be back!

This was pretty good! I decided to stop by after work to get a quick snack, and I ordered the chicken tenders because I was mucu hungrier than I thought. I didn't have a chance to go through their drink menu, so I just ordered a Dr. Pepper. The service was good and quick, but they might need to get their speaker box fixed as it was hard to hear them. The chicken tenders were good! They were big and juicy and had a great crunch!

Fun spot with the garage doors open on a nice day! Outdoor seating as well. Original grinder was just as I remembered from my days in Tucson. There is no better frosty drink than an Eegee strawberry/lemon mix.

So I moved to Tucson back in the 1990's and got indoctrinated to Eegees then. What was not to love? Fabulous sandwiches, great sauces, and that fabulous Eegees drink that not only had it's standard flavors, but every month you got to experience an Eegee of the month. November was always the favorite with Cherry Cider, something you looked forward to all year!! After moving to the Phoenix area, every time I was in Tucson...it was a standard top priority to get a fix, so imagine how excited we were when they opened in Casa Grande! We made many trips from Chandler to C.G. just for a picnic of Eegees. Then they sold...but everything coming from the new company said no changes, just expansion. We gave the Baseline-Mesa store two times and the newer Val Vista store one try. I'm so devastated to report, we will not return and the Eegee's of our memories will stay just there. Went to Mesa location today for lunch. $32 later for two whole subs (they don't offer 6, 8, or 12 inch any longer...just whole and half). We ordered combos both with fries (which is supposed to come with one ranch dressing per order) and our beloved Cherry Cider flavor of the month! I also asked for two house dressings (now they are .35 each...used to be free) and two additional ranch dressings (now .35 each...used to be free). First, had to return the receipt to prove that I had paid for a medium Eegee because he wanted to charge me again (he actually started to argue with me about not being charged for one); next, we had to go into the store (we did the drive through) because we didn't get the two extra ranch dressings that we paid for. The food just isn't what it used to be...the bread has an off flavor, the lettuce on both sandwiches had some slimy pieces in it (so we removed it totally), and the Cherry Cider...not at all the tart cherry cider flavor of yester-year...and I had one cherry in mine and we found three in the other one. I get that the company says no changes made and they stand by that, but as true Eegee groupies...it isn't the same. The bread is different, the ranch is different, and the Cherry Cider isn't the same either. I went back and forth between posting two or three stars mostly because of my nostalgia but decided to be true in my review and stick with two stars. We decided after today that Eegee's has become a memory of past and will move on to other sandwich places that serve way better food and have way better customer service.

Yoohoo to Grant and Sophia for great customer service and Friendly smiling faces!!! Let me start by saying that, I've never heard of this establishment until driving from my yoga class feeling slightly parched and needing something sweet to drink. I just happened to be stuck in the nightmare road construction in front of eeges and decided to pull over to quinch my thirst. It reminds me of a subway and sonic combined into one. It's very colorful and stands out which is nice! Once the construction is complete, it will be booming, I'm sure! I got the pina colada eeges which was !!! Sheesh ...I took one sip and couldn't stop. I got the kid a Turkey kids meal with a lemonade and the kid loved it... it was actually a nice size portion for a kids meal but they could've tossed in a few more fries to make it worth the price. I did notice that it didn't come with a toy or prize which was kinda disappointing for the kid. The fries needed more seasoning but I suppose it was seasoned perfect for kids. I recommend stopping here for a meal and eeges drink...The pina colada alone, is worth the visit. ( Slushy drink) As usual, plenty of free parking. Close to the highway and next to coffee and gas. Tell Sophia and Grant that I sent ya Thanks again Grant for reminding your peer to get on top of my order... that was funny! GRANT ROCKS!!!

    Half strawberry half lemon Eegee
    Karen W.

It was hot outside and I had a busy day. Today feels like a slushie day I thought. Plus, there was a drive thru so that made it an easy decision to try Eegee's. I've had them before in Tucson but wasn't too amazed but I figured I'd give it a go a second time and get something different. Instead of one of their tea drinks I got their standard Eegee slushie, half lemon and half strawberry. The drive thru line was fairly long, as was the wait. My order was just 3 drinks but it still took a while to get it. So much for a quick drive thru experience! Out of the two flavors I liked the strawberry the best. It was sweet, refreshing and the seeds in it made it seem like there was fresh strawberries in it. I didn't really like the lemon. It had a strange aftertaste to me. I also tried the banana flavor of the month It had a very artificial banana taste. As for cost, the price is right! Three small Eegees were a little over $8 so for a little under $2 for a slushie it's not bad for what you get I suppose.

Posing with my watermelon Eegee which is my all time fav!
    Diele K.

Eegee's used to be a 2 hour drive away, but always loved going with friends every couple of months to either Casa Grande or Tucson. Still super excited to have them locally. LOVE LOVE LOVE the watermelon Eegee! Sometimes I'm glad it is seasonal for my waistline, but also wish I could indulge through the year. Perfect way to beat our record of 110+ days in a row. Be sure to cool down with an Eegee's!

They were packed with a generous amount of beef and the consommé was just as delicious. The tacos were so filling that I could only finish one! The brisket was good though I've definitely had better. They also offer three different sauces and we enjoyed all of them. The restaurant itself is pretty small and it was very busy the entire time we were there which says a lot about how popular this place is. They do have a large outdoor patio but it was way too hot to sit outside even with the misters. We sat at the long high top table inside and it felt tight especially with people in line right next to us. The staff were friendly and welcoming. I'd definitely go back to try some other dishes and definitely more birria tacos.

The menu is made up of barbecue plates with meat sold by the pound, platters for larger groups, tacos, burritos, and various sides. Energy time I have been here I've ordered the brisket burrito--it's simply too delicious for me not to get. To be fair, everyone seems to think the other items on the menu are just as good, but I just love the brisket burrito so much that I don't want to even try anything else.

The food was delicious, fresh, and a huge hit with our guests. It was all delicious and they had some fun dipping sauces. Like jalapeño jelly and chipotle mayo. Which were both very yummy too. We didn't get any sides because it's too close to dinner. But they had lots of options. If I got the cheese one in the future, I would absolutely get it with their tomato basil soup to dip in! But otherwise it was a little too rich all by itself. The legendary…read moreAnthony Bourdain, who had a disdain for chain restaurants, said Jollibee was the exception. This Filipino fried chicken fast food joint has definitely earned my affection too. I visited their only location in the Phoenix metropolitan area for dinner on a weekday. Located in Chandler, parking won't be tough in the large complimentary lot surrounding the restaurant. Ambiance (3.5/5): I mean it's a fast food joint so you don't really go there for ambiance. It's similar in this way to other fast food restaurants we've all been to. When it comes to a fast casual restaurant, I mostly care about cleanliness. This is done at a high level there. I snagged a booth that was a bit dirty. A worker cleaned off my table without me asking soon after I started hovering around the table. Well done. Service (4.5/5): You can either place your order at the counter if you're paying cash or use your card at one of the self-service kiosks. I used the latter option. What's nice about it is that it's easy to customize your order. The kiosk was easy to use and I got my food within a reasonable amount of time (even with the restaurant close to capacity while we were there). Drinks (4/5): At fast food joints, you're expecting your typical soft drinks. Jollibee has that, but they also offer more. Which is a nice touch. I had a pineapple refresher. Pineapple is my favorite fruit so I couldn't say no. While a bit pricey, it was good. Food (4.5/5): Now, for the good stuff. Jollibee is known for a couple of things. First and foremost, their fried chicken. I've had my fair share and the chicken here is quality. When you think of fried chicken, you want a flavorful crispy exterior with a juicy interior. Mission accomplished. The crispiness is at a high level. We shared a six piece chicken joy bucket so you get all the different parts e.g. drumstick, breast, etc. and they all delivered. Another thing Jollibee is know for is their spaghetti. Yep, you read that right. Spaghet' at a fast food restaurant. And this isn't your mom's spaghetti. Instead of marinara sauce, as is popular in The Philippines, they use banana ketchup. Throw in some cheese and some sausage and there's your side dish. It's going to shock you at first as it's sweeter than what you're used to but it's pretty good. A better side than rice (even the adobo rice) or fries in my opinion. O and I forgot to mention, you're given gravy with your fried chicken. Dunk that thing in there. It makes it even better. You're probably already full by reading this but finish things off with a peach mango pie. They look like McDonald's apple pies but they are significantly better. Trust me. While the menu has a lot more than what I just covered, these are the dishes Jollibee is known for. It's a good starting point, especially if it's your first time. Pretty much anything Anthony Bourdain said was accurate. His thoughts on Jollibee included.

It was a 20 minute wait for the spicy flavor which is crazy because they should've had this ready for the dinner rush on a Friday 6pm. The sides were okay, could've been better for the price ($4.95/each). The mac and cheese was not warm, and also came in a smaller container than the spaghetti. The biggest disappointment was the bucket only came with 10 pieces, even though I ordered 12 pieces. The chicken was good and came with gravy, but to pay $30 and be shorted is not okay.
