I know for a fact that I asked if the quote and payment we gave for attic insulation, included over the garage. I was told yes, and I know I asked at least three times, and was told yes. The two other people in the home, heard it as well. The over the garage was not insulated. Now I understand, that I should have checked before I left the other review. That's on me. I shouldn't have taken anyone else's word, and I should have gotten the ladder and looked. When I texted the man who came here, I was told yes "no, it only includes over living space". The insulation over the living space is nicely done. I am very pleased with that. Just very irritated that, what I was told was going to happen, and included, turns out it's not.

I have been to 2 presentations. Bought the attic blankets…read moreand the solar power vents. All these items can be bought for less from different sellers. The attic blanket can be bought at Home Depot and installed by almost any half competent person that's not afraid of attics. The vents can be bought online and are exactly the same. The radiant barrier paint is available for under 400 for 5 gallons. The financing options they offer are worse than using a credit card. If you have a local handyman he can install all this for less than half the price. That said the blanket has helped stop radiant heat and the power vents are helping keep the attic cool. The paint has been made by many different manufacturers over the years. Not sure about the probiotic spray thing. If you are good paying more for them doing it for you and buying you a cheap dinner then go for it.

When the representative was ready to leave my home, I asked about the free items we were supposed to get. He refused, saying we didn't buy anything and we weren't getting anything free. This made me angry as I felt I was lied to. So, they lost a customer before they even got one.

Workers came to add attic insulation and attic batt insulation to my home. They had a four hour…read moretime window for completing the project however they rushed and damaged my ceiling by walking too fast and aggressively on ceiling joists to swiftly complete the job, cracking my ceiling drywall in multiple locations. I would understand as I am a licensed structural engineer. Before they were about to leave I had to remind them that I also paid for installing batt insulation, if I hadn't, they would have left. My request to the estimator of making sure not to add insulation over my exhaust vents were not communicated to the workers so I asked and they were not aware of this ask. They were nice and fixed the very apparent crack, but weeks later a second one formed nearby due to the worker initiated the cracking by compromising the ceiling gypsum. I did not ask for them to fix this because how I can prove it? No one has walked up there since but enough time has passed to leave doubt on how it was caused. I would not recommend them.

They also failed to pull the required permits from the city or have the required city inspection after the work was completed. The city inspection would have advised me that their work was unsafe and not code compliant. This created a very dangerous situation as the attic is adjacent to my kids' rooms and the buildup of CO2 could have been fatal. Removing the foam was absurdly expensive and I had to replace both furnaces to make it code compliant. I am taking them to court over this matter as they were not willing to pay for the repairs required to make the attic safe and code compliant.

Jorge and the window installation crew did a great job quickly and efficiently taking out our old windows and putting in the new ones; interior and exterior caulking was done neatly and with care, and they even swept off our back porch after the job was finished. Our older home looks newer and more modern on the outside, but more importantly, we notice a big difference in our interior comfort. I love my solar hence 2 not 1 star, but from start to finish Elevation slowed the process by having…read moreno sense of urgency, poor communications within the company and thusly to customers. In order, I had to call them to get them to send me an invoice(8 days), get them to update town registration for permits(14 days), 10 days after permitting to pay for permit. Then after getting the permits an Elevation tech red flagged the project and the project just sat for 2 months. Turned out the concern was not warranted. Took 5 months from signing to installation ALL due to elevation, poor communications within and a general lack of candor or sense of urgency. One supervisor, weeks after me trying to figure out the cause of delays, flat out told me the delays were caused by the town which was simply untrue. 2 -3 month job turned into a 5 month install. On top of the bumbling as to installation they designed my system poorly for efficiency. They married 400 watt panels with 295 watt micro inverters. Meaning over 25% of my panels are wasted at full sun and and my 8kw system maxes out at 5.9kw. An easy fix, smaller panels or higher output micro inverters. I suggested this to elevation between signing and installation but they had no interest in fixing this issue. An issue that could have been fixed with a 30 dollar per micro inverter increase from the Iq7plus to Iq7A. They simply don't know on the sale side. Spoke to several people at elevation but impossible to get to anyone with a level of authority to fix. I'll likely upgrade the micro-inverters myself and sell the less capable ones on ebay. ONE MONTH AFTER INSTALLATION as it appears Elevation has no interest in keeping me the least bit satisfied.

Sadly, the owner of Nick's passed away and this company is now owned by Dunrite. I called that company based on the reviews of Nick's Air Services, but their services has definitely NOT been the same as mentioned on this profile. In summary, this company is expensive, can make improper recommendations, and the office is very difficult to get anyone to call you back. I absolutely would not use them again in the future and - had I read their Yelp profile for Dunrite Heating & Cooling - would never have called them in the first place. My experience: My air conditioning due to leaked refrigerant due to another HVAC technician not correct. Nick's/Dunrite came out during the same day and quickly identified the problem. There was a leak on the schrader valve. They got us back to running - for nearly $200/per pound of refrigerant. 5 lbs = about $1,000. Wow, but we had no choice as my original installer was not available. Our unit has not been keeping up with the 90s for the past two months and the technician recommended 3 different options. I chose 2 of the 3 options: a larger return air duct AND repairing the plenum. I was anxious to get the work scheduled and it took me hounding them to get them to schedule the work. Communicating with this office was very painful. I would never get calls back and would just get a text message indicating when they had scheduled the appointment. Their front desk support was exceedingly helpful but not empowered to do anything besides schedule appointments and pass along info. I finally had the appointment and the technician went to the wrong address. I got a call from them saying they had been at my house and then they proceeded to the next job. I spoke to them and learned they were at the wrong house, but could not turn around to go back to my house. I had to wait until the following week to get the appointment rescheduled. What a disaster. It got worse. The work was finally done - the return air duct and the plenum. I waited a couple of days, but there was NO change in the air conditioning. I called them back again and they scheduled another technician to come out. The second technician came out, a more senior technician, who confirmed that the unit was undersized and "working as it was designed" to cool at 75-76. I don't know a single person who is comfortable with 75-76 in the house when the outside is in the 90s. I called customer service again. When I finally got someone, I got a call from William, who is their most senior technician (an older guys in his late-50s probably). He came out with the original technical and instructed him how to properly do a heat load calculation. They determined indeed the unit is undersized and I needed a 3 ton. I called back the customer service asking for a refund to the work. I've called at least 3-4 times, each time speaking with a very nice person. However, I've still not been called back. What a disaster. I've finally had to resort to filing a complaint with my credit card and disputing it through them. It's unfortunate and I didn't want to have to do this, but - when no one will call you back - it's very very hard to trust this company to make things right.

Total replacement of 2 high efficiency furnaces and AC units, ductwork, removal of rock wool insulation and replacement with r60 at our request. David was great to work with on our redesign and upgrades of our HVAC. He spent all the time I asked to make sure we would get what we wanted out of the project. Most HVAC contractors did not want to tackle this job. Out of 11 contractors, David was 1 of 3 to submit, but the only one I was comfortable working with. We ended up rezoning the AC units and added appropriate returns and supply to make sure everything would work as expected. HVAC crews were some of the most professional and cleanest I have ever dealt. They were thorough in their work and even impressed the city inspector. They were able to complete all the work in a few days and made sure we were not without climate control. They were respectful of our home and made sure we were all right with any site changes to the plan. Everything about them screams professional. We now have two top tier Dave Lennox systems that provide a 3-5 mile per hour breeze through out home at all times. Even with running the fan more, we are seeing a 30-35% energy savings in summer and winter so far. The house smells so fresh and is so comfortable. The insulation team did a fantastic job of removing the old rock wool and then when the time came for the new insulation were able to get the 3100 square foot house completed in a single day. Absolutely no mess anywhere in the house. I cannot recommend EHS and David's teams enough. I will let them work on my other home when the time comes. They are a great locally owned business that cares about their customers and the results of the work they do. Call them today, say 'Hi' to Jill (one of the greatest office managers on the planet), get your system(s), get your insulation, and be comfortable. PS. Its been 3 months now since i received first service from them. I am editing my review to update what i sm suffering from right now The Water heater starts sounds like small blast inside when i inform these guys They told me i have the problem with my gas pressure ( since i buy house only hot water tank and water heater was running on the gas, i neither have any other appliances or fireplace that use gas) so they said i have low pressure in my house of gas and required more pressure and ask me to update my regular by calling FortisBC. Firstly , it was their responsibility to check gas pressure if sufficient or not when the install the unit, and if they told you this problem after a month the unit installed. I try to convince them there is no problem with the gas pressure but they were like i need to update the regular. Ok so update my gas regulator i inform these guys the exact date and time when Fortis guys will update my regulator. He said their guys will need to be there to attach the gas meter to my house and needs to put regulator to tankless On that day Fortis guys update my regulator but neither of Efficent Solutions guys appears to re attach my gas line i try to contact these guys (Mitra and Roberto) to find out whats going on . I was surprised they didn't assign any of their technicians to come by and re attach gas line . I have to wait till next day to get my gas line back attached even the temperature outside was 2 After that those guys agreed to change the unit snd get me new one So when they change the unit they install the smallest unit they have I can't run three taps side by side and i am out of hot water And now they are not responding to my massages Please dont hire these guys they are very unprofessional and charge you 2-3 times more that you'll get out job done from some professional plumbers read more

This review is about true customer service. I found this company through Angie's list. We are currently in an unprecedented winter storm, and my heater has not been working for the past 2 days. I am a single mom with two young boys. Mr. Rivera called me to schedule a time for his servicemen to come out to help me the following day. Before we hung up, Mr. Rivera went through a differential diagnosis of what could be wrong with my heater. When he mentioned that the filter could be a problem, I told him that my filter had not been changed in a very long time. Knowing that the temperature is going to get down to 5 degrees Farenheit tonight and knowing that I have 2 young boys, Mr. Rivera offered to FaceTime me, and he ended up guiding me through the whole process on how to take the filter out In order to clean it. Once I was able to take the filter out, I ended up washing the filter in my bathtub, and then I put it back in. Now, thanks to Mr. Rivera's help, my heater is working perfectly, My boys and I are incredibly grateful for his help. Because he truly cares about his customers, my boys and I are going to be able to sleep comfortably tonight. This company is the very best. I will definitely be using Efficient Home Solutions from now on for all of my heating and air conditioning concerns. I highly, highly recommend this company. I live in the Lakewood Dallas area and own an older home. I have settled for years with an uncomfortable home in the Summer and Winter months because I assumed I had to because of the age of my home. In August I got sick of settling and called Efficient Home Solutions along with a couple other Companies out to see if they could help me with my problem. The other Companies said your units are running fine and when they breakdown I can increase the size if I want but not much more they can do. Efficient Home Solutions provided a large list of suggestions, recommendations and solutions to my comfort issues, some I could do myself if I wanted and others that they would take care of. We decided to have them: Add Additional return air vents to our systems Add better filters to our systems Upgrade our old Thermostats to digital wifi Cleans units Seal up our duct-work Add attic Insulation Add attic ventilation Foam Seal our utility openings and attic access hatch after all that we can now get the house to 72 even in the hottest part of the day, 78 to 80 was best temperature before. They tell me it will save me money on my electric and gas bills as well. All I really cared about was looking forward coming home instead of dreading it. My new air conditioner is truly a work of art! I obtained several proposals and while most of them were within a few percentage points of each other in terms of cost, I chose Efficient Home Solutions. There were several reasons. First, David took the time to show me the math about my CFM airflow problem. I have been short about 800 CFM all these years and it's probably why my other unit wore out after 12 years. I got a 5 ton Lennox unit and David explained the differences between it and a comparable Trane (which I had previously installed). I think having a local company with access to parts in the future was a great reason to pick Lennox. The unit is a beast. Secondly, David brought his installation manager who carefully inspected my attic space and location of new return ducts. No one else brought theirs. This made a big difference because there would be no question as to what would work space-wise or not. Third, David also answered all my questions professionally and even explained many details I hadn't thought of (nor did any other service provider). I really like my Nest control and this unit cools within 40 seconds, and after 2 minutes, it's freezing! The family room is facing the hot west sun and now we can't even tell it's hot outside. We bought 3 AC/Heating units for our four-thousand square foot home in November of 2022. The owner--David--provided us with (1) the best personal feeling of expertise among five companies that I contacted and had come out and look, and (2) he provide us with a great rate on all three units--it was not the cheapest bid, but also not the most expensive--it was right in the middle of five separate bids we were provided. I do my homework, I ask numerous in-depth questions, and had David walk through our home more than twice. He answered every question, provided an expert analysis. I highly recommend Efficient Home Solutions (EMS). We have now been in our home with the three new units for 17 months and we have had "no" issues with any unit. We have perfect AC/Heat in all three zones of our home. We have bi-annual visits from EHS to check the systems and change the filters. In addition, they look nice on the outside of the home, and you can tell they were installed by a professional. We just had a replacement A/C System for our home in Frisco installed by Efficient Home Solutions. We chose the company partly because they quoted us the lowest price, and partly because we were impressed with their professionalism when they came to our home on two occasions in the past to perform "emergency" repairs on our original A/C system that finally gave out. The job was done quickly and professionally with no "surprises". In other words, they arrived on the promised day and time, we were charged the price we were quoted in advance, and although we're still waiting for a really hot day, so far the system is working amazingly well, compared with the 15-year-old A/C it replaced. Yesterday, an inspector with the City of Frisco came out to approve the job. He said everything about the installation looked great, both in the attic and the outside the house where the new compressor was installed. This company offers amazing customer service and the price is so reasonable and their expertise is great. My heat was not working on a day where it was 30 degrees and forecast was calling for sleet. I had one company come out and give me a ridiculous quote for a new furnace and telling me they could not install it until Monday. Then a friend suggest I call Mike at EHS. I talked to Mike and within an hour he was at my house. Very very knowledgeable and promised me a new furnace that same evening. Mike was so educated on everything related to heating and cooling. 4 hours later the EHS team is out installing a new furnace @ 7pm at night. Even the owner of the company called me to update me when the guys were only 15 minutes late and MIke called to follow-up and update me. I am so pleased with this company,. I have used so many different HVAC companies over the years and this is by far my best experience in terms of expense, knowledge, customer service and coming so quickly. One of our air conditioners decided to go out. Unfortunately we did not realize it until bedtime. We contacted Efficient Home Solutions and they stated they could come by later that night. We agreed. Everyone in the house had gone to be except me when the Rocky arrived. He assessed the situation quickly, determined the solution, presented me with my options and he fixed the unit. We were up and running that night. The next morning my family couldn't believe that we had it fixed while everyone was asleep. I would recommend Efficient Home Solutions to anyone/anytime. After trying 3 other companies to unsuccessfully diagnose my heater problems I tried EHS. Started by telling them how furious I was with the previous people sent to repair it. Arman is who they sent. He did great! Actually knew how the system worked! What a difference from the previous 3 companies. He explained everything in detail and replaced the part and now I sit in my warm house writing this review. I am sure I am not the only one who has had " repairmen" show up who have no clue how to diagnose the problem. "Hey here's our price for a new unit" or " it just needs a good cleaning for $800.00" . Finally had to turn heat on last night, been crossing my fingers for past few yrs. hoping my old furnace will keep hanging in there. Well it would not start up for me last night. Called by trusted buddy who always knows the best service guys to use and he came through again with Efficient Home Solutions. I was sure they would tell me I had to replace it, they did recommend replacing it, but gave me several options to consider even had financing. In the end I asked them just to fix it, they did a great job and gave me time to continue considering replacing it by allowing me to use my repair cost to apply to the replacement system if I change my mind. These guys were astonishingly good. Our AC went out on a Friday, the day before our daughter's graduation party. They answered the phone immediately ( a real person), dispatched a tech. He got to my house exactly at the scheduled time, and diagnosed the problem. Unfortunately, it wasn't a cheap fix. However, they got it done that day. They literally saved me 12 grand when it was 105° two weeks ago. Ben England, the technician, showed up and told me that I just needed a capacitor which is a battery replacement, essentially a couple hundred dollar repair deal. Another company that I'm not going to name came out here the day before, and told me that I needed to replace my entire system which didn't make any sense, it's only six years old. Really great to know there are honest people out there who do great work and I will rely on them again for sure and recommend them to my neighbors! Efficient Home Solutions is a top-notch organization. Their pricing was very competitive and the owner, David Rivera, took the time to educate us and give us money saving options. He went above and beyond to insure that we were happy. He truly earned our business and trust. We made the right decision to trust EHS with this project. Dring was called to fix my noisy, but functioning, furnace. 5 minutes after they arrived they announced that it was a blower and motor that needed to be replaced. Approx. cost 2250.00. Their recommendation was to replace the furnace for around $6000. I said no thanks. I called Efficient Home Solutions on a Saturday at 8am (in advance of the hard freeze). After a talk with owner David Rivera, he offered a possible fix. His tech, Mark, was at my house at 11am. One hour later it was fixed. $250.00 David Rivera was right. Mark was on top of it. I completely replaced my AC unit in May, 2022. The new AC was fantastic all summer long. I was so happy with the quality of service and the professional install. I also added more insulation in the attic which made a huge difference. I definitely recommend Efficient Home Solutions, and especially their employee Rocky who helped me through every stage of the process. Furnace went out last week, found these folks on Angies List with lots of A+ reviews. Micah came out and gave me several options to repair or replace my 20yr old furnace. Based on the age and cost to repair logic said to replace it, they were here with a crew within a couple of hours of Micah leaving to install the new furnace. Mandated duct cleaning by previous service was unnecessary and a waste of $5k. Main fan and heat removal coil in attic were underperforming. Heater cabinet had worn seal and was leaking cold air. Refrigeration line to heat removal coil in cabinet had small leak. So basically I removed and replaced both systems and they did a fantastic job. They came in with the best bid and the most thorough service and investigation out of 8 bidders and they had the best service warranty. Then for follow-up items the same service tech who did the inspection and provided the detail bid and follow-up, he came out and did the commissioning punch list as well as follow-up balancing. J Pennington is a great rep for the company and isn't related to the owner.

While he was at our place, I asked him a question about the airflow on the other side of the house and he was able to check it out for us and mentioned that one of the airvent boot was smaller than expected and that's why it wasn't blowing out much air in the room. Overall, pretty happy with the service. There was no fee to get a technician out to get an estimate and to assess problems like other places I've contacted. Pedro was nice, friendly, and was able to address concerns.

Edwin and his crew did the installation - they were friendly and courteous. They worked diligently on the installation - covered my floors to prevent damage and cleaned up all pieces of the old unit. Edwin even patched a hole in the house wall where the some AC connections were located - this was greatly appreciated as I was worried about rodents getting into the house through the hole.
