I was reluctant to write this review because it's like telling someone your secret fishing hole. But let's go. This place gets 5 stars from me every time. The staff are incredibly friendly and the food is always delicious. I won't lie, my girlfriend and I have our favorite waitress; Ace. She knows us so well now, she comes to greet us with the Diet Coke my girlfriend enjoys. She adds to the atmosphere. Go early though. This place gets jumping fast! We had a great breakfast this morning. We arrived a little before 8:30am and there was no wait. Our server was very nice and took our drink orders. Coffee, milk, and apple juice between us. I ordered the meat lovers skillet with pancakes, hubby got the chorizo omelet with pancakes and our children got a breakfast burrito with hashbrowns and mickey mouse pancake with bacon. Everyone enjoyed their food with no complaints. I added a little chalula to my skillet because I like a little spice. Hubby loved the omelet because it was fluffy & filling. Fast to seat but service was bad after. Took quite a while to check for refills on coffee and bringing a very hot plate out for a kids meal is NOT a good look. Food wasn't really good. Eggs were hard boiled not poached well. There is a difference. Sweet potato fries were tasty. The Turkey avo wrap was 3/5. I didn't even realize I had to go up front to pay. Wasted a good 10min and even with the manager or owner coming over I wasn't directed to pay anywhere. So odd. Overall not a place I would come back to. We were in Denton and needed to find something to eat before we headed home. After a quick search, we found the Egg House Cafe, which is exactly the type of place we wanted. It was almost lunch time but we wanted breakfast. The women that greeted us when we arrived and the server were all very welcoming and friendly. I don't see the item I ordered on their online menu, but I highly recommend it. It was an avocado "sammich". It had an over medium egg, avocado, tomato and cheese on a bun. I'm probably missing something in that list! It came with hash browns , which were really nothing special. Good, but not different from what I have had other places. It would be hard to order something else if we ever went back that way, although the waffle with berries looked amazing! Rich had the steak skillet. It had hash browns, eggs, spinach, onions and was topped with cheese and grilled ribeye. I don't know that I'd be that brave to order a steak from a diner, but it was really great! It came with a side of bread or a pancake. He chose the biscuit and split it with me. It had a fantastic flavor! I wasn't a fan that they toasted it (had never seen that before) and it was very small, but the taste and texture beat out those things. Get the Banana Choco Caramel Upgrade on your waffle, it is absolutely worth it! I got the Waffle n More with two eggs, two bacon, and two sausage. The sausage was still piping hot and sizzling when the plate came, and everything else was fresh off the heat too. The waffle itself was really big, and when it came out was still nice and crispy. That didn't last long with the chocolate, caramel, and maple syrup that I poured on it though. It was super super messy, but also incredibly good. I absolutely loved the flavor of the chocolate; it wasn't sickingly sweet but it also wasn't bitter, and complimented the whole waffle very well. Definitely surprised with how much banana there was, but I will never complain about that. Though I'll be sure to ask for the whipped cream on it next time, because that can only make it better The owner, I think, was always chatting with the customers and making everyone feel very welcomed, while also making sure your needs were taken care of. Egg House Cafe is a small friendly CLEAN restaurant. We are here on our way home from Winstar on the 4th of July and I found it on Yelp. We entered to smiles and warm greetings from all servers. Food was delicious, fresh, hot and flavorful. I had a breakfast sandwich. It was flavorful and the bread was very soft! The potatoes that came with it were seasoned perfectly and with a nice little crunch. My husband was envious considering he chose the hash browns. I wish I could give the Egg House 10 stars! While in Denton for a family wedding, we first went their for Friday breakfast. The food was excellent - fresh/quality ingredients, delicious coffee, incredible hash browns. We enjoyed it so much that we returned Sunday for a post-wedding breakfast and, again, as we headed to the airport on Monday morning. As good as the food is, though, the service is what really shines. The manager is kind, attentive and caring, and that is also reflected in the staff. You can taste the love in the food. Only two things wrong: It's not open for dinner, and it's 1,000 miles from home. Otherwise, I'd be there at least once a week. read more

He told me that I could leave if I was not happy with the restroom. I said no it's all right. He said no you need to leave, you are not happy with our bathroom. He was real polite about the whole thing, but I was not to stay and eat there. I said really? You are kicking me out because I complained about the restroom. He said, you can have a good day somewhere else and pointed to the door. I left and I was polite about the whole thing. Before I hopped on my motorcycle I noticed that my hands were shaking and I was upset about the whole thing. I can't believe I got kicked out of the restaurant because I complain about the restroom. read more
