We visited this restaurant for the first time as a group to celebrate a birthday. The birthday boy is from France, so the group thought this would be a fitting spot for a good crepe. That part of the experience I can't speak to directly since I ordered the omelette. For me, the omelette is the true test of a good breakfast restaurant. If a breakfast place can't make a decent omelette, it shouldn't be in the breakfast business. Ours was not enjoyable at all. Just terrible. But the food wasn't even the biggest issue. It was the service, or more accurately, how badly we were rushed out. We had a large party, which means we were spending a significant amount of money there. Instead of being treated like valued customers, we got dirty looks for staying past a certain point. Then, about 30 minutes before closing, they literally played "Closing Time" over the sound system. I was genuinely offended by that. There was no need to rush us, and there was certainly no need for that kind of passive-aggressive move. Management: please don't respond with "We're sorry about your experience, come back again." We won't be coming back. What your staff needs isn't an apology template, it's real training on how to treat customers, especially ones spending real money in your restaurant. read more

The place is clean, bright, and inviting, the kind of place that makes you feel like you made a good choice the moment you walk in. The staff was attentive and friendly, and the service was quick without feeling rushed. The food itself was good. Not life changing, not the best breakfast you will ever have, but solid. Everything tasted fresh and well prepared. No complaints on flavor. But here is the problem. Breakfast is one of the few meals where you really should not leave the table still thinking about your next meal. The portions here are... let's say aspirationally modest. My wife ordered the Reuben sandwich and had to do a double take to make sure the meat had actually arrived. It looked like the corned beef was rationed out by someone preparing for wartime. My scramble probably pushed 400 calories if we are being generous, which is impressive considering it was supposed to be a full breakfast entrée. Looking around the room, every single plate, adult and child alike, was absolutely spotless. Now that might sound like a compliment, but when every table finishes their meal like they are trying to pass a food scarcity test, it raises some questions. Everything coming out of the kitchen looked like it had been ordered from the "lighter fare" section of the menu. The items they are skimping on are the cheapest ingredients in the building. Pancake batter, potatoes, eggs, bread. These are not the things that should be showing up in minimalist art form. If this place wants to really thrive, the solution is simple. Keep everything the same, just add about 30% percent more food to the plate. Nobody walks into a breakfast place hoping to leave feeling like they just finished a tasting menu. Bottom line: Good food, clean restaurant, friendly service. Just bring a snack for the ride home. read more

This place has great food with a lot of options to choose from for breakfast or lunch and they offer brunch alcoholic beverages too. I got the Crab Cake Benedict and they were very good. The peppermint mocha was a sweet holiday flavor that even came with a cute candy cane. Our waitress was very nice and accommodating. I wanted to update my review and mention how much this restaurant has improved their customer service. As soon as we walked in we were greeted right away by the exceptional hostess, Mingma who was very welcoming and pleasant. The restaurant itself is very cute & clean. The food came out quickly and was fresh n hot. I ordered a cappuccino, breakfast quesadillas and a side of fried okra which everything was full of flavor! We avoided coming here after our first experience when they barely opened, but our past couple visits have proven they have really turned things around and have put customer service as a top priority. read more

That's it. Food ok. Ordered Southern Breakfast. Neither gravy nor biscuits tasted homemade. Biscuits dense, heavy. Food arrived quickly. 25 minutes later for server to check in, offer refills to empty coffee and water. It was a Sunday. Fairly busy. Crepes looked good and that is their specialty. I'm super torn between three and four stars. Sometimes I wish we had the ability to give 3 1/2 stars. It wasn't a fantastic experience, but it wasn't bad. The walls were dirty and had like coffee stains or dust. Service was slow. We had to ask for water. The chicken fried steak tasted like it was boiled and was too thick and tough. Chicken in crepe was hard and reminded me of old chicken...at one point, someone in the party said, "You know what this reminds me of?" and my response was, "Let me just try to get through my food and then you can tell me later." My family and I tried this place out on Sunday morning. The service was very good. My husband got his 3rd cup of coffee, which is his good service standard (if the server refills his mug only once, then they aren't paying enough attention). My family ordered the s'mores crepe, chorizo omelet, and the mickey mouse pancake. All very yummy. Crepe was a bit thick for my taste, but it was good. The omelet was the best value because it came with sides. The sausage patty was very stiff. I don't recommend that side here. read more

Wife ordered chicken fried steak breakfast and I ordered southern breakfast. Coffee was strong. A little bitter to me but wife likes it. Food appears 5 minutes later. Sausage is pretty good and there were 4 small patties. Eggs are good even though barely warm. The biscuits were another story. So hard, I could barely cut though them with a butter knife. Hard as a rock...Skipped them. The chicken fried steak, eggs, and hash browns were good per my better half. I was just very disappointed about the biscuits, which is my favorite breakfast food. My parents and I visited for the first time last week, excited to try a new breakfast place in the area. We were seated immediately but after that service was slow, despite the fact that the restaurant was more than half empty. We were surprised (and it should have been a clue) that a place with crepes in the name only had a small selection to choose from. The menu for some reason feels disorganized and difficult to read- but maybe it's just my old eyes! My mom and I ordered cold brew coffee; they came in small glasses with tons of ice making the coffee weak and tasteless. For our meals I ordered the ultimate berry crepe and my parents each choose the traditional eggs Benedict. None of us were thrilled with our choices. I wish I had looked at pictures online to see what they're crepes were like; again, I'd assumed a place with crepes in the name would make a great one (especially since it's not hard). The crepes were thick and tasteless, with a good amount of berries on top but extremely little glaze or mascarpone cheese. We're talking less than a drizzle. There were two giant globs of butter, however. Not being a butter fan I gave them to my dad for the pancakes he'd ordered with his meal, but maybe they would have improved the crepes. The eggs Benedict were lackluster. The hollandaise sauce and eggs were quite bland and the English muffin was cold and hard. The Canadian bacon was that only decent part, but that too was tough and cold. They both ordered the hash browns as their side- also cold and bland. The previously mentioned side of pancakes were small and- you got it- cold and bland. Not even a river of syrup could save them. When we were ready to leave, we had to wait to find our waitress (turns out she was hanging out behind the wall with the hostess, so no one was paying attention to the customers), and then wait some more for the box we'd asked for. Bottom line- if you want to spend too much money on food that isn't fresh, doesn't have flavor, isn't even warm, and you enjoy a rousing game of Where's my Server? this is your place. For the rest of us, save your time, money, and appetite and go somewhere else. read more

I suppose there are people who order a McGriddle, so if you like McGriddles, then maybe this is the place for you.
