I ordered the Korean bowl, which had coleslaw, fried chicken, and veggies over a bed of white rice. The sauce on top was delicious. I opted out of the hot sauce but later wish I hadn't.. The manager was also giving out iced coffee and checking on tables. I loved the attentiveness. The staff were kind and patient. The establishment was VERY clean, even the bathrooms were spotless. Just tried Egg N Bird for the first time. Food is absolutely delicious and the service was wonderful. The nice woman who was serving us gave us crack sauce on the side to dip our fries in since it was our first time as well as a free sample of their banana pudding (which was so delicious). Food is 5/5 and service was wonderful! I marked it down for price. Overall the pricing isn't too bad but if you made anything a combo it added an extra $7 which is ridiculous in my opinion when you're already paying $13 for the sandwich. It's also not clearly marked on the menu but that's not the employees fault. Overall though I would come back! read more

Saw this establishment a few weeks ago and recently had the opportunity to give them a try. The Egg N Bird sandwich was delicious and very filling. It contained a large, juicy, crispy chicken breast, a perfectly cooked fried egg, crisp bacon and crack sauce. The crack sauce is a little sweet. It also came with hot honey which we had on the side, next time I will keep it on there as it tasted great. The fries are lightly seasoned, as others have stated here it us a small side of fries, but just right with this sandwich. The employees here were all friendly and helpful. One thing I didn't realize before trying it out is that Egg N Bird is actually owned by the same people who founded Yogurtland. Overall, the food at Egg N Bird is decent, but it is a bit on the pricey side. I tried the Korean and Island bowls, and they were both very tasty, but portions are on the smaller end so I'm not sure they're worth the higher price. Both times I've been there I left feeling I wish there was just a bit more portion. If you're looking for a quick lunch spot near Cypress though and are craving fried chicken, Egg N Bird is worth checking out. Just be prepared to pay a little more than you might expect. This is my second time here and we absolutely love the juicy and flavorful chicken breast! My husband and son love the sandwiches and I like their rice bowls. The pickled cabbage slaw is so good with just the right amount of tang. My son doesn't eat any type of veggies but he loves this and says it's good. Only saving grace for the bowl is their tasty slaw. Even the sunny side up egg is over cooked - well done yolk. Nothing much to say. Price is decent, portions are comparable to any other fast food store. Delivery was quick and food was warm upon drop off.
