We normally take it out since she adds kimchi and sesame oil to it. When looking at the items they looked great but some of the items does not pair well. I usually order the bowls as they are more filling and you get more items, but if I could change an item in the bowls it would be to serve them with plain white rice and not rice pilaf as the pilaf rice was way too strong of a taste. I always order extra sauce to mix with the chicken as it can get dry halfway through the meal and the sauce helps keep it soft and moist. As for the loco sauce, I am not sure exactly what it is made out of but I have tried most of their items with regular ranch I have at home and it tastes better than the loco sauce as ranch is sweeter and creamier. The majority of the items are obviously served with scrambled eggs but you can always take it out from the sandwiches or bowl meals if you are not craving eggs, especially in the afternoon or dinner time. As for French fries, I suggest the dirty fries it taste great and they are very filling. The menu has many sandwiches from banh mi to Korean hot and if you are craving burritos they have some and for something simpler an avocado toast. They provide many add-ons from mac n cheese, rice, and different types of slaw from Asian to vinegar these are great to pair with the bowls if you need that extra kick. Many of the items are made to order and you can customize them the way you like. The wait time is not that long we usually wait around 10 minutes for our orders and they always come out piping hot and fresh. The workers are friendly, they are helpful with the menu if you have any questions and will suggest items that are more to your liking. If you are eating here for your lunch break it will definitely fill you up as they are not shy with the portions. Wow just wow was having a decent day but the cook emerald gave me the best customer service I've ever had I was asking the lady at the front a bunch of questions and emerald stepped in and let me personally try the flavors of each chicken. I came here once, and it's probably one of the best fried chicken sandwiches for the price point. From the people who brought you Yogurtland, they opened Egg and Bird and a few other fast casual concepts, and I think this one is a winner and there is a plan to open a few more locations. Their chicken sandwich is a bit more dressed up than Popeyes, but it comes with slaw, spicy mayo, and pickles, with a thick cut of chicken, and a nice crispy texture on the outside and juicy on the inside. So I've been following ENB on Instagram for couple of years based solely on how appetizing the food looks in photos. Kept telling myself that someday I'd make it out to Cypress to give them a try. Today was the day. First thing: it's a 15-min drive from my office in Long Beach to their location. So I ordered online and used their anticipated 20-min prep time to make the drive. I ordered the three-slider flight, one of each kind, with regular seasoned fries and a bottle of Dasani. With tax, $21, so a bit expensive. Maybe the gift would be worth it! The website said it would be ready by 1:07 PM. I got there at 1:06 PM thinking it would just be ready for me. When I walked in, the first thing I noticed was that there was no Online Order Pickup counter like other places have, so I had to wait in line behind two others, including one guy who ordered $40 worth of food just for him. No biggie, the line moved quickly. The second thing I noticed was how cold it was inside. It was only about 65° outside, and it felt colder inside. I got my order, which I noticed was already sitting there when I walked in. A slight concern but I managed. I'd eat the fries on the way back to the office because nothing is worse than to-go fries that have sat in the bag for too long. The fries were pathetic, sorry to say. Overcooked and under-seasoned. 3/10 and I'm being generous! I got back to my office to eat the sliders. They were individually wrapped, plus a toothpick to hold each one together. They weren't terribly warm by then but I could deal with that. Nice soft, sweet King's Hawaiian bun. Crunchy slaw and pickles. Good breading with juicy breast meat. A good-sized slider, I would've been satisfied with just two, but I rallied and ate them all. 8/10 and it would've been higher except for the fact that they all kind of tasted the same. One was a little spicier than the others but overall it only resembled a "flight" in concept, not execution. Overall a 6/10 for the cold space, the inaccurate timing on when my food would be ready, and the terrible fries (worse than In 'n Out fries!). Congrats to the social media team for doing such a great job presenting the food as totally appetizing, but in the end they over promised and under delivered. read more
