Enjoyed Breakfast at Egg Plantation in Santa Clarita was absolutely delicious! We ordered the 8oz flat iron steak, a chili cheeseburger with crispy onion rings, a café mocha, a shot with an orange juice chaser, and a hot chocolate topped with whipped cream. Everything was so good, but the café mocha was a definite 10/10 and those onion rings were incredibly tasty! The service was friendly and attentive, and we loved sitting outside enjoying the cool breeze. Great food, great atmosphere, and definitely a spot we'll be coming back to!

Never disappoints! Absolutely fresh and delicious!! Chile verde omelette with avocado was soooo sooo good. Big portions, came with fruit and sourdough. The prosciutto and cheese crepes with basil was soooo sooo good. Excellent service and great vibe, clean, lively, very inviting. Love the homey country vibe.

Very homey and classic breakfast in Santa Clarita. Always seems busy; so the community clearly loves this place. It's a nice location and they have both indoor and outdoor seating situations. Service is always good here and it's great to hear some of the regulars get hellos. With that said, the preference to regulars is clear here- not a huge knock I get why this happens but others would potentially be bothered by other people getting priority seating. I was here with an ex girlfriend so slightly awkward but the atmosphere and food made it much more pleasant of an experience. The food was solid, was not mind blowing. Wished for a bit more flavor and actual spice on a Mexican inspired dish but still enjoyed it. Pretty big menu so I will have to try something else next time

I had the pesto scream, and the alcoholic chai latte both are really good. The amount of food that came with the pesto scream was more than I was expecting, so I ended up taking some part of it to go. My server was very nice and helpful, the hostess was also very nice. The restaurant was very cozy and seemed like the type of place you could go to every weekend for breakfast. The amount of options on the menu are immense, both food and drink/coffee wise.

Been coming here for 20+ years. First time ever we felt need to leave. our host that sat us left us with bad taste. We left. We asked to be seated with our puppy (with diaper and and blanket to protect seats) we asked if we could Sit on patio. The way she made it seem like our dog was not welcomed. Just off. We used to come with 3 dogs before. First time ever felt unwelcomed. We were even just here a couple months ago. Wonderful host and server welcomed my sister's pup and us, warm as we have always had been. This time, completely flip. I guess we were not it for alternative girl. We left. There was also no wait time which should have been red flag something has changed.

I don't really go for breakfast places but I had super a great experience here!! Started off with a white chocolate mocha latte that looked sooo delicious and came with a chocolate chip little scone?? YUM... I dipped it in my latte Lots of menu options and our server was so kind and checked in on us perfectly. I wish I got her name. I got the omelette with sausage, bacon, mushroom, cheese... super yummy and the side of potatoes with my ranch!!! And it comes with a side of sourdough. Would definitely come again an try something new since there's sooooo much

Although it took us a little bit to be seated, it was worth the weight. Our server was wonderful and when I asked for a surprise, she happily agreed. I was the one who received the savory crêpes. I can't believe how big the place is it doesn't look like that from the outside. We're not from here so it was a nice stop off. Will definitely be back.

Warm, homey and friendly vibe! It's always so busy here on the weekends so we tried our luck on an early Thursday morning. We walked in and were immediately greeted by the hosts and shortly seated. Our food came rather quickly as well. My eggs were perfectly over-easy. Bacon was crispy! My husband also enjoyed his Pesto Scram! We totally get the egg plantation craze.

Egg Plantation is a great breakfast destination stop before exiting the LA County area of Castaic. They open at 6am for the early birds line me. We arrived at 7:30am and seats indoor and outside patio was quickly filled. Dog friend on the patio. We were greeted by a friendly host who took us to our seats. The waitress quickly came by and took our order. I enjoyed the casual rustic ambiance and it wasn't pretentious. Great food and great people. Lots of regular customers dinning. We tried the Erin's breakfast sandwich and Simon's English Breakfast. Maybe named after the owners?!? Ice teas and Cafe Latte were delicious. The English Muffin did have more butter than I would have liked so you can put it on the side. Dishes are pricey but very hearty.

I love the vibe of this place and it's so comforting/a nice switch of scenery compared to what I'm usually surrounded by in Los Angeles. In comparison, it has a rustic/laid-back/unpretentious hometown vibe where locals and out-of-towners alike will come in for that big bowl of comfort clam chowder, morning cup of coffee/OJ, and last but not least, all that yummy food. My absolute fave is the Crab Benedict served w/ a side of O-Brien potatoes, w/ extra hollandaise sauce please. Even better if they were to have the CrabCake Benedict year round, but sadly I heard it's only once per year around Mother's Day. They also sell bags of coffee here. I can't wait to try the clam chowder next. I've only gotten takeout here so far, but thus far the service has been good too for my takeout and ordering. Yay for Egg Plantation!

Only found out about this place like last week while grabbing coffee across at Honu! We noticed the parking lot was packed and heard the live music and all the chatter over here. Decided to grab brunch here today and it did not disappoint! We got here around maybe 11am and the wait was about 25-35 minutes. We put our name down, grabbed coffee at Henry's down the street, and shortly after, our table was ready! We were walked all the way to the back inside at a high bar table which was perfect for two. Love these types of seating! This place is much bigger than we expected. Lots of seating inside but also lots outside in like two separate patio areas. We ordered their chilaquiles, side of eggs, bacon, hashbrown, and pancakes. Alex was a great waitress and made sure to constantly check up on us. We ended up loving their Louisiana garlic hot sauce which is homemade so we bought a bottle for $10 to take home. Food came out SUPER quick and everything was absolutely delicious. Their menu is huge but everything looked good! Already looking forward to coming back. IG: @ammysalamii

    Chicken Fried Steak

Came here with my girlfriend for a little late breakfast. I think we showed up around 1 PM. We walked straight up to the front asked for a table and will see that immediately kind of shocking with how many people were waiting outside, but just bigger parties so we are sitting relatively fast. I lived in Santa Clarita my whole life and probably only been here a few times felt like taking her hair for the ambience and with how popular it is I forgot the name of our waitress, but she was amazing. Cannot thank her enough for how something she was. My girl mentioned to her how motherly and amazing she was and how warm and helpful she was as well. We both got two coffees. I think I got something raspberry chocolate wasn't the biggest fan but I still enjoyed it and ordered a chicken fried steak came with eggs, toast, and potatoes. I thought about getting a two egg breakfast but for two dollars more I could get a chicken fried steak so that just made too much sense. Everything was delicious if I come back again, I would definitely get hashbrowns instead of the potatoes. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed our visit and will be back again

Meh...a local favorite but not so much for this tourist. The service was not the best either. They do have 100 omelettes on the menu BUT some of the pairings do seem a bit odd so how often is it really ordered, if at all. I feel like it's a "selling point" or a claim to fame of some sort. Anyways the food and coffee were ok, but nothing stood out much. What got me was the seating method. You have to wait outside by a host stand with nobody there. I went inside to ask about being seated and was directed to stand by the desk. A few minutes passed (about 5) and another group comes and walks right on in. I hear them ask a waiter if they can be seated and they are immediately directed to a table?!?! About another minute later the hosts strolls on out looking bored snd finally seats us. We went on a weekday and they weren't busy so I didn't understand the lack of service. All of this put together and considering there are so many other food spots to try, I wouldn't risk being ignored again.

It seemed as though there were about 10-12 tables inside, and all the employees work with one another to wait on the tables. We showed up around 10:45am on a Saturday morning, and to our surprise there was no wait. We were sat immediately and ordered a cappuccino and Arnold Palmer to drink. Then, I ordered the Salmon Benny with home potatoes, while my partner ordered the Churro waffle combo. It did take about half an hour to get our food, but it was well worth how fresh everything tasted. My salmon benny came on an everything bagel with cream cheese, and the salmon was served cold (in a delicious/ good way, not like it was frozen. I just wanted to make a note of this because usually when eating a salmon benedict the salmon gets warm from the temperature of the english muffin and egg). Then, the home potatoes had onions, and bell peppers and I kept commenting on how fresh the bell peppers tasted. My partner had the churro waffle with eggs, sausage and bacon. They really nailed the churro flavor of the waffle. Both our plates were completely devoured with no leftovers to take home. For our two drinks, two entrees (and the added combo to the churro waffle) it ended up being $53, which we found to be extremely reasonable for the quality, portion size, and service provided. The only thing I would mention was the parking lot gets a little crowded. They share a parking lot with the other stores in the plaza, and there were several spots open only because there were a lot of bigger cars who were over the line. Lovely spot for drinks and dinner in Santa Clarita…read more I was in the area running errands and decided to grab dinner nearby on a Thusday evening around 6:30 pm. I found this place on Yelp and dropped by for dinner. My party of 2 was seated immediately. Personally I thought the menus were hard to read. The gray lines in the background were quite dark and clashed with the actual menu items. My suggestion to the restaurant would be to reprint the menus with lighter background. They have an extensive cocktail menu with a lot of gin-based drinks. They also have good selection of wine and NA drinks as well, including some mocktails. I got the I'm Driving mocktail ($13), which I really liked. It had good passion fruit flavor without being too sour. Felt like a really nice tropical juice. My friend really liked his drink Bramblin' Man ($17), which had strong notes of bourbon and blackberry. I wasn't super hungry, but the braised short rib looked amazing so I got that for $43. It was very tender, but I personally found it bland especially on the inside. I asked for additional sauce so I could drench each bite in the sauce. My favorite part of the plate was surprisingly the potato croquette, which was perfectly crispy and well flavored. My friend got the chicken club ($23), which he enjoyed. I stole a bunch of his seasoned fries since they were so good. I would've loved to get dessert but was too stuffed. Next time!

The street front seating and building architecture is very appealing and welcoming. As you enter the main doors, you are greeting by friendly staff. We were offered any open seating, we decided to take a table against the back wall that was adjacent to the entry. The decor inside is very rustic with a touch of micro brewery, the ceiling has many tap handles that adorn the ceiling. The menu and food, we were initially drawn into the Refinery since they seem to be the only spot that offered Brunch and Mimosas in the downtown street. Key point of clarification, the Mimosas are simi bottomless (you have 90 min) to pour down, some of us really like Mimosas, plus the price was just slightly higher that we typically expect at 27, per person. Were they good, yes, so we decided to go with one Mimosa and an Old Fashion drink, it was very well done, Buffalo Trace Bourbon. We ordered from the Brunch menu, the Steak and Eggs, cooked to your liking, they did a great job on both, the one item that we were less impressed with were the overcooked Oreda looking potatoes that accompanied the meals. We also ordered the Cacio e Pepe Beni, Prosciutto, perfect poached eggs and all of the other fixings, it was great testing and the presentation was amazing. As far as my overall rating I could not give it a 5 star due to what other customers have shared in their reviews, the wait staff is not timely, almost forced friendly and possibly just lacking some restaurant experience, they did not come around or notice things like empty water glasses and a few other things, could have been understaffed possibly on this day. Overall I would still recommend the Refinery due to the location, atmosphere, drinks and main dish prep. Thank you for providing a break from reality during a very trying time in our family.
