Good food for a good price! I have been coming here for years and can't believe I haven't done a review. I came here on a Sunday around 9:00am for a party of two. The wait was very short around 5 minutes. (It can vary, I have had wait times up to an hour before). They have indoor and outdoor covered seating. They can accommodate big groups or small ones. The menu is also huge, you can definitely fine something for everyone. We had a wonder server Priscilla! It was super busy, but she was on top of her game, so pleasant and seemed like she truly enjoyed her job. The food was delicious! Came out perfect with good portions sizes. Came through last weekend for breakfast with the family. Quickly seated inside and was quite busy when we first sat. Extensive menu with over 100 omelet options but we opted for the full breakfast plate and the fruit crepes with Nutella instead of marscapone. Both delicious and filling, the crepes were loaded with nutella. It was nice and cool inside so we also got some hot chocolates which were tasty. Everything hit the spot and service was very friendly and quick. A nice cozy spot for breakfast with ample street parking nearby. read more

Parking: This location has street parking and a shared parking lot around back. During busy hours, it can become difficult to find parking here and you'll have to park down the street and walk. 2 stars Host: The first interaction will be with the host stand outside. They will ask for your name to add to their list, then you have to stand outside in the heat and wait for your name to be called. Everyone was whispering how outdated this system is and they need to text us when our table is ready, so we can wait in our cars. I waited for an hour, then walked up to host stand and they said sorry and immediately sat my party? What...1 star. Server: My server was friendly and provided drinks quickly, then took everyone's order without writing it down (always impressive when a waiter can memorize the orders). The server then spent a majority of his time assisting a table of 6 people in the corner. After 45 minutes he apologized and went to get our food from the kitchen, he proceeded to bring everyone's food, except mine. He blamed the kitchen staff and said he'll get my meal, then 15 minutes later brought out French toast only and not the main entree. He then went back to the table of 6 and helped them and never came back to my table until it was time to pay. By that times everyone at my table was finished eating and not worth asking for my missing entree. I left this place Hungry. 1 star. Food: The French toast was okay, nothing to brag about. After going to many other breakfast places in LA, this place is Mid. 2 stars. Overall: Having to wait outside in the heat for a table, then not getting your meal. I would suggest going elsewhere unless you like a mid-experience. (2+1+1+2)/4= 1.5 stars. read more

We took my mom for the first time to have a late breakfast and she loved it! Our server, Jeremy, was on it. Honestly, he's one of the most personable and attentive servers I've encountered. They also had someone playing the guitar and singing near the entrance that added to the relaxing patio ambiance. read more

I always bring friends to this spot . There is a long wait for the weekends but it's well worth it and it goes by quick since there's a store next to the restaurant that you can walk around in and listen to live guitarist outside. The staff is amazing. I ordered their famous omelet that was on the food network which was excellent. It's super quick service once you're seated. I'm taking off a star because the last time I went I ordered chilaquiles and instead of tortilla chips they used straight up flour tortillas. It was so bad I did not like the dish at all nor is that what I expected of the dish. Classic chilaquiles are with tortilla chips and the soggy tortillas were so gross :( I was so so disappointed but oh well, I'm just not ordering that ever again. read more

Very expensive, everytime our family comes here there's always some sort of issue from food not tasting great, server not being the nicest, or the power going out. Charging $21 for 3 drinks (soda, and 2 coffees) when it could have easily been compensated knowing how cheap they run for the inconvenience for waiting to just not be served in the end. Unfortunate we had to ask for to-go cups, was the expectation for us to sit in the dark and finish our drinks? We love supporting local and small businesses so it sucks when we give these places more chances because some days are just better than others but this place is not recommendable unfortunately. read more

Egg plantation is my favorite brunch spot in the Santa Clarita/Newhall area. They have fresh orange juice and a giant menu with lots of variety. I had the pumpkin pancakes which were great. Service is awesome! Menu is HUGE...a real egg-lovers delight. Over 100 omelets to choose from. Nice lunch menu too. Generous portions. Indoor and outdoor seating. Coffee drinks, beer and cocktails too. Can get busy but worth the wait. Love the quaint shops nearby. $17.95 for the "results protein omelet". 4 eggs, turkey, mushrooms, bell peppers and spinach, with a side of fruit and cottage cheese. Solid choice. Plenty of French toast and waffle creations to choose from ($12-$17). Vegan options too. What we don't like: $1.25 for salsa (it's good but free most every other joint) and $1.95 for soda water. read more

My favourite breakfast place in Santa Clarita. This place is very busy so expect to possibly wait to be seated but it's cute to look around the little stores or sit and people watch. The food is amazing and portions are big. Simon's breakfast with black pudding is my favourite go to for breakfast. Lots of things to choose from, you will not be disappointed. Full bar inside so yes you can order a Bloody Mary as well if you are feeling it. Service is good here. It gets pretty loud inside when busy but there are two outside seating areas as well to choose from. I suggest you just go and live it yourself if you have never been it'll be your new favourite place, your welcome read more

This is a great place for breakfast. Their salted caramel coffee was delicious. Their menu offers a variety of items. I had the Plantation Benedict and it came out perfectly. This place is overrated. I went with a group of friends and one of them had a baby that had to sit on her lap the whole time because they didn't have high chairs Also, I ordered the chilaquiles from the "favorites menu" and I was so disappointed I had to return the plate. I was served some tortilla strips with salsa on the side and what seemed as leftover from a hamburger. After that I ordered the chicken and waffles and they were decent but I would think twice before coming back read more

The food here is okay. The indoor space between the tables are a bit narrow so it's pretty much a single file one way situation where someone needs to step into unoccupied table space to let you through. I asked ordered the 2 eggs with sausage, hash, a muffin, and a pomosa. I asked for the hash to be extra fried as I don't like it soggy and i thought it would be a fried slab of hash but it turned out to be kind of like chip crisps. I wasn't too much of a fan of the hash but it was fun to try. The highlight of the meal was the pomosa for me :) read more

I went to the Egg Plantation today with friends for the first time in many months. The food was delicious. But perhaps a high spot was our waiter, Joel, who was kind, prompt and thoughtful. He has an incredible memory for getting complicated requests served correctly and in a caring manner that made each of us feel valued. Established in 1973.

Egg Plant was the original name given to the restaurant by Maureen Anderson who was the originator of the 101 omelet menu back in the early 70's. In the early 80's Betty Travis & Marjorie Riberdy owned the restaurant and changed the name to Egg Plantation. In the late 90's the resaurant was owned by the Gallagher family who opened evenings and served traditional Irish dishes. In late 2000 to date Simon & Shannon Mee became the new owners and reopened Egg Plantation adding to the original 101 omelet menu.

The gray lines in the background were quite dark and clashed with the actual menu items. My suggestion to the restaurant would be to reprint the menus with lighter background. They have an extensive cocktail menu with a lot of gin-based drinks. They also have good selection of wine and NA drinks as well, including some mocktails. I got the I'm Driving mocktail ($13), which I really liked. It had good passion fruit flavor without being too sour. Felt like a really nice tropical juice. My friend really liked his drink Bramblin' Man ($17), which had strong notes of bourbon and blackberry. I wasn't super hungry, but the braised short rib looked amazing so I got that for $43. It was very tender, but I personally found it bland especially on the inside. I asked for additional sauce so I could drench each bite in the sauce. My favorite part of the plate was surprisingly the potato croquette, which was perfectly crispy and well flavored. My friend got the chicken club ($23), which he enjoyed. I stole a bunch of his seasoned fries since they were so good. I would've loved to get dessert but was too stuffed. Next time!

We were offered any open seating, we decided to take a table against the back wall that was adjacent to the entry. The decor inside is very rustic with a touch of micro brewery, the ceiling has many tap handles that adorn the ceiling. The menu and food, we were initially drawn into the Refinery since they seem to be the only spot that offered Brunch and Mimosas in the downtown street. Key point of clarification, the Mimosas are simi bottomless (you have 90 min) to pour down, some of us really like Mimosas, plus the price was just slightly higher that we typically expect at 27, per person. Were they good, yes, so we decided to go with one Mimosa and an Old Fashion drink, it was very well done, Buffalo Trace Bourbon. We ordered from the Brunch menu, the Steak and Eggs, cooked to your liking, they did a great job on both, the one item that we were less impressed with were the overcooked Oreda looking potatoes that accompanied the meals. We also ordered the Cacio e Pepe Beni, Prosciutto, perfect poached eggs and all of the other fixings, it was great testing and the presentation was amazing. Then i looked at the brick floor ( we were sat outside) and i was disgusted (see photo). I understand that drinks and food get spilled but it doesn't take much to power wash the patio at night. My plate came out dirty with a chip on the dish-ware. The bbq bottles were sticky and congealed. Just think, if this the cleanliness of the dining room, imagine what the kitchen looks like. I have worked in the restaurant business before and this is just intolerable. Two stars for a good atmosphere (live music). But that's it. If you want great bbq, try Copper Hill BBQ. It's doesn't have the atmosphere of Smoke House but you get great BBQ and a clean environment.

I ordered a pulled pork sandwich without the foccocia bread and the waitress suggested turning into a lettuce wrap which was and so tasty and the portions are very large. It had been a while since we'd dined here and we were very happy they are still around. They are hidden behind an auto parts store in a strip center. Anyway, we started with martini's and appetizers. Apple martini, porn star & bloody goose were our martini starters. We shared an artichoke and bruschetta. Our main course choices were Lobster Bisque & Prawn Cocktail, for my pregnant granddaughter. No martini's for her. My grandson had another artichoke to go with his caesar salad. He was not feeling 100%. The rest of us had actual delicious meals: Jambalaya, short rib ravioli, lobster ravioli and gnocchi with a chicken breast and pesto sauce. We then had another round of drinks. My husband changed to wine, but our youngest granddaughter and I got the Svedka Razzberry Lemon Drop Martini. The Social is known for its martinis. They have around 90 on their martini menu. We were all very happy with our good and drinks. We were wondering why we hadn't been there more often. The waitress brought me a little tiramisu with a lit candle. We had already been passing our martini's around, for tasting, so we did the same with the dessert. Nice ending to our dinner. Our waiter timed our meal perfectly, kept our glasses full and overall pleasant. The bacon wrapped scallops were delicious, with a touch of wasabi. I had the lamb - cooked perfectly. Husband had lobster ravioli stuffed with lobster and yummy. Our friends had salmon and pasta, both equally good. The tiramisu was good. We left with satisfied and full tummies.

"Gnocchi" with a chicken breast and pesto sauce. It was delicious. No leftovers.

When I started eating the cheeseburger in my car, the bun was burnt (or super toasted), the patty was harder than usual and no grilled onions. I went back and told them about it and they willingly replaced it but I had to wait another ten minutes. So I would say I spent more than 30minutes to get this cheeseburger. not a usual experience here at in n out but definitely not a happy experience when you're hungry and trying to get back to work quickly.

No noodles presented a la carte with up charge add ins, no dry white meat chicken breast slices that don't mesh well in a soup dish. The price is comparatively reasonable at $17 tax & tip. Superior value there. Service is fine. Sports on TV. Music has a decent vibe. Atmosphere is friendly. They keep the place extra cool, so bring a sweater or jacket if you chill easily.

Some restaurants have gotten pricey, the prices online at Ameci were reasonable, we were not sure what the pasta portions would be like at those prices but decided to give it a go. I tried ordering online but the order never processed the browse just sat. I didn't want to risk ordering again and having two orders so I called. Everyone on the phone was so nice. They checked, the order did not go through and I asked if I could order by phone which they happily did. We got an Italian salad, eggplant with spaghetti and lasagna. When I went to pick it up, the place smelled delicious walking in. You can see the kitchen and everything looked clean, my order was ready, I paid and was on my way quickly, The main bag I was handed was heavy. No worries about portion size! Everything came in metal circular containers which was great, no styrofoam! The plastic lids were a little flimsy, but I don't know what else you could use, you kind of need the extra domed space, I don't know that the flat paper lids would work but it might be worth a try. Part of the edge of my lid came apart and plastic fell into the eggplant, luckily I saw it while eating, because it kind of stood out n the light, so I picked it out. All portions were generous. The salad I expected mostly iceberg maybe some romaine, I was happily surprised with some mixed greens. The portion of salad dressing was tasty and generous as well. The lasagna didn't have a lot of meat but it was tasty. The eggplant was tasty as well, and had a very generous amount of spaghetti, way too much for me to eat as one meal, so I have another meal for tomorrow. In the future I would probably get the sub instead. The sauce for both dishes mostly tastes like tomatoes which is fine, but if you are looking for generous amounts of spice, this sauce is not it, think simple comfort food. Both dishes came with a good size piece of very tasty very garlicky garlic bread. Both dishes were also super hot in temperature, which was great, I dislike it when the food cools down too much on the way home. If you don't have a huge appetite two people could split the lasagna and salad and be fine, I want to try some of their other pasta dishes as well. I am glad we rediscovered this place, I had only previously had pizza from here
