Happened to be walking around downtown and found this place as I was pretty hungry...I popped in and ordered my food (the chic) and a side of waffle fries...sat at one of the "cleaner" tables which luckily only had bits of old food and a sticky film all over it, sadly the multiple employees were far too busy standing around chatting it up rather than actually check the tables and clean them, but it's ok because I'm very resourceful and I managed to find the necessary napkins and hand sanitizer to clean the table myself without having to "bother" the staff. Once the table was relatively clean enough to eat from and after some time I finally received my food, a clearly very old and very cold box of waffle fries and luckily for me, an actually fresh and hot "chic" sando. Thankfully the fries were changed out immediately and I was able to enjoy what turned out to be a good chicken sandwich and not cold fries. All in all "ok" food that I'd only go back to if I was extremely hungry and happened to be within a few feet of the restaurant. Went on a Sunday around brunch time. We waited over 40 minutes for two sandwiches and waffle fries, which were just okay. Not worth the long wait, although I think they messed up because other people were getting their orders a little quicker. suuuuper busy and pretty slow. honestly, the food was really good! but not worth the wait. i'm not sure why my order took so long to come out when many others who had ordered after me had gotten their orders way before mine. we ordered the chic sandwich and the scramble with two drinks. the drinks came out 30 minutes before our food came. we went up to check in on our order after 45min had passed and eventually got our food after almost a whole hour of waiting. people who came in after us had their food and finished by the time we got ours. my boyfriend got the chic, and it was warm and just made. it was really tasty, tasted like popcorn chicken from a boba spot. i got the scramble. i think it would have been amazing if my sandwich hadn't been cold. it really ruined it for me. i went up and let them know and they offered to make another sandwich. but at this point, i didn't want to wait another 15min (and that would be fast at that point), so i settled for my cold sandwich. overall, i would say i wasn't in a rush to leave but i wasn't expecting to stay here for over an hour for something i thought would have been quicker. not sure if i'd come to this location again bc of this. read more

When we arrived at 7:10 on a Saturday the doors were locked. We waited outside for a couple minutes until someone let us in, but then she had us wait another 5 minutes while she got the kitchen set up and then someone else came in and took our order. We waited about another 10 to 15 minutes until the food was ready. They are hiring so this could also be a one off thing and it's obvious that everyone there is trying their hardest. this wouldn't have been much of an issue we we didn't have somewhere to be, but time management is essential for any business especially if they promise to be open at a certain time. The expectation is that they will be open and ready at that time for customers. My unsolicited advice? Have at least 2 people opening in the morning and perhaps start earlier to set up the kitchen or change the Saturday time from 7am to 8am just like the Sunday schedule. this place became my go to lunch spot in downtown since it's right by where i work, very convenient and i can easily make an order online then pick it up. for those who plan to order online as well, one of the staff recommended to place an order on their website since there are no fees compared to other delivery apps! fyi i would also recommend ordering online to skip the line since it's always packed inside and lots of people complain about how long the wait is if they order in person. for those who are farther away and are planning to drive to this location, just a heads up that there is no street parking. you would have to find somewhere to park and then walk over! my go to order from here is the Ultimate Sando and tater tots, plain and simple haha. after trying the sandwich for the first time, it became my favorite and i've been ordering it since. i haven't tried their other sandwiches yet since i prefer to stick to what i know and like, but i'm looking forward to trying the other ones in the future. i have a small appetite sometimes and the tater tots are a great snack. i really like how they make sure the entire box is full of them each time i get it; never lacking any tots nor is it halfway empty (something that happens at other spots i eat at). also the crispiness is a big plus! their drinks are honestly a hit or miss in my experience. every time i order, i try a new drink to see if i can find one that suits my taste. my only complaint is some of these drinks are kindaaaa bitter and watered down sometimes. maybe it's because i'm used to drinks being extra sweet or have some level of sweetness at other places, but i don't really like how it is normally. i'm sure there are others who enjoyed the ones i've tried though :') hopefully they can adjust the sweetness if i ask next time! so far i've tried: -passion fruit & orange green tea -pumpkin spice hojicha latte -strawberry matcha latte -pineapple cucumber green tea -strawberry hojicha latte (my new fav, the strawberry bits inside pairs well with the drink itself) despite seeing a lot of mixed reviews, i haven't had a bad experience during the times i've ordered here. although i hope the staff will prioritize customers' feedback and work to improve their restaurant + customer service. this spot is nice and would be so sad to see it go downhill !!! read more

Great breakfast sando place and very ample portion size! My strategy is to eat half with morning coffee and save the other for lunch.

I would not eat here again. Service staff was nice, and the place was fairly clean but the wait was ridiculously long and the food was terrible. I got an Ultimate Sando and my wife got the Chick. She enjoyed hers but my Sando was luke warm just like my tater tots. Runny, eggy mess that left me feeling shafted for spending $35 bucks on 2 sandwiches, some tots, and a very bitter tea. I came on a Saturday afternoon and I ordered the classic egg sandwich and tatertots. The classic egg sandwich was really rich and salty for my liking. And the tatertots were served with the ketchup packets touching them. I would rate it 5 stars if there was more attention to service and if the menu was dialed in a bit more. First time coming here and we had a few questions about their menu. Asked the cashier what the hojicha* strawberry latte drink was. Her response was: "it's just hojicha with strawberry in it" and looked at us as though we were dumb. To our dismay, we responded with... we don't know what hojicha is?? After this awkward exchange we just ordered the drink, thinking it would come in hot (had no prior knowledge to this drink thus why we asked the question). It was obvious it was our first time and the cashier was no help at all. When we got the drink, we see it's iced and are a little confused; as lattes usually can come hot or iced. Since the menu didn't say iced on it, we assumed it would come out hot. After discussing the situation with (who I am assuming is the owner), she reluctantly gave me a refund and I explained we thought the drink would be hot. The owner was nice enough to explain why the drink is only iced (as their strawberry puree is made in house and wouldn't taste the same hot). read more
