    Iced Matcha Latte

I was excited to try the matcha at Egghead, but was a bit underwhelmed by their iced matcha latte. I like a strong matcha tea flavor, but I got stronger hints of the whole milk. I do appreciate how quick the drink was made. Seating can be a challenge with very few spots inside so just plan to enjoy your food/drink outside or back at home. While I was not impressed with their matcha latte, I do plan to come back and see how their hojicha is.

Cute and small spot for sandos! Reminded me of a this one cafe I used to go to a lot during college, which I was craving. There's not much seating inside, but there's a couple of tables that seat 4 outside. You order at the self kiosk where there are many options of sandos and drinks. There was the breakfast burger, veggie one with avocado and cheese, and chicken options that come with an overeasy egg. They have your classic strawberry matcha, but also hojicha! I will say it's more on the pricey side... What we got: - Chic Sandwich: more of the thin cut Taiwanese chicken, but great ratio with everything else & delicious with the arugula! wish there was more aioli though - Breakfast Burger: burger meat was too thin, nothing crazy here - Waffle fries: crispyyyy really good in the spicy mayo sauce - Strawberry Matcha: matcha was watery, best part was the strawberry puree I'd come back for the chic sandwich! Nice that they have a spot like this near me now, but not good for my wallet haha.

I came here to try to banana matcha and it was pretty good. I am going to have to come back and try the banana latte and a breakfast sandwich of course. I got the small banana matcha with almond milk and honey. Not sure if the honey was added, couldn't tell but it was topped with two fresh bananas and had light ice. I would definitely come back again. I ordered online and it was ready when I got there. It's small inside. I was in and out but didn't see much of anywhere to sit inside. It's seating outside in the shopping center.

Egghead Sando Cafe in San Ramon is located in the Diablo Plaza shopping center, next to Orient Express. My buddy George F. and I checked out this place on 06/07/2025. It was quite busy when we walked in at around 10:30am. The shop was tiny and cramped. There were only two tiny tables for dine-in customers and a few more outside. We decided to order on the kiosk since there were no descriptions and prices on the menu above the counter. George opted for the Side Chic and Passion Fruit and Orange Green Tea, and I got the Breakfast Burger and Egghead Cafe Latte. The total was about $42 before tip. Kind of pricy for two breakfast sandwiches and two drinks. We had to sit outside since both of the tables inside were taken. The tables outside were kind of dirty. I spotted some bird poop on one of them. The food took about 10 minutes to be ready. The Breakfast Burger was OK. On the positive side, the brioche bun was fresh, soft, and eggy. On the somewhat negative side, the egg yolk was soft but not runny, and I really couldn't taste the quality of the beef. IMHO, I thought it was kind of average. The latte was pretty decent. The robust coffee taste was exactly what I wanted and needed at that moment. The young woman at the counter was friendly. Perhaps they can invest in an announcement system to let people sitting outside know that their orders are ready. Overall, i thought the experience was just OK. For me, return trip is unlikely unless someone really wants to go. 3 stars.

Came here a few times before giving an honest review. I'd give it a 3.5/5 though. A tiny establishment with a small menu. Service was quick and you can order at their counter or on their kiosk. I tried their Scramble and the B.E.C. Their sandwiches aren't anything special in my opinion and are a bit overpriced for what you get. Their coffees are ok. This time I tried their banana cream iced latte which wasn't bad, but could use a little more banana flavor.

Order kiosk if you want to quickly place an order yourself.

Egg Sammy spot tucked away in Diablo Plaza. Great variety of different egg sammies on home made brioche buns. I got the Side Chic: egg was cook perfectly and the chimichurri added some good flavor with the thick cut bacon. Prices were reasonable with most options right around the $13 range. Will definitely have to try some other options next time!

Quick bite with fast service. The food was good, but not great. The orange juice was fresh, which was a plus. My only complaint was the mosquitoes inside I noticed three on the chair in front of me while I was eating, which definitely killed my appetite.

Always love their eggy, and brought my daughter to try this time. Eggy - poached egg, bacon, mashed potatoes sounds like a weird combination but trust me, they are surprisingly good when eat with toasted baguette. Baguette was nicely toasted to make the whole experience level went up. Hawaiian Morning Sandwich - the sandwich is well balanced with egg, salad, and spam (of course) Pinks Supreme - very minty, citrusy and refreshing Price - average high, is it worth it? It worths for a try but will be better if it's cheaper Seating - the store is not big so not much seating inside, but there is tables where you can eat outside.

The recently opened Egghead Sando Cafe in San Ramon in the Safeway shopping center. They had a Yelp event, but fellow Yelp elite Harvey and I were not chosen, so we decided to try it out ourselves. We ordered the Chic and breakfast burger. Fried chicken with a medium egg arugula, spicy mayo, bacon on a brioche bun. Five stars Breakfast burger ground beef, medium egg, cheddar cheese, bacon, brioche bun. Five stars ** thick cut bacon $3 extra After adds the sandos came out to be $15 each Drinks $5 Passion fruit green tea Iced coffee They make every sandwich to order so on a busy morning it takes a little time. Tiny interior, outside tables Plenty of parking

I stopped by Egghead a couple of weeks ago and was so impressed! I tried "The Chic," and honestly, if you're a fan of that addictive boba shop popcorn chicken, you'll fall in love with this sandwich. It's perfectly savory, crispy, and just hits the spot. Since everything is made to order, it comes out hot and fresh--well worth the wait when they're busy! I also treated myself to a Strawberry Matcha Latte, a total must-try. Their matcha is clearly premium and delicious. Even though the space is small, it has a lovely, cozy vibe--the perfect place to recharge during holiday shopping at Bishop Ranch. Plus, Dakota welcomed me with the warmest smile! It's rare to find such amazing service paired with incredible food. Definitely a must-visit!

Came back and gave them a second chance because of the sincere reply from Angela the business owner! Yes, customer service matters the most to me! Therefore, I came back and got the eggy again! I'm glad I gave them and myself another chance because this time, the egg was not overcooked but poached just like how it should be. The toasts were crispy and tasty! I enjoyed my eggy special and I love business who listens to the feedback of their customers and try to make it right and gain our support by being humble and understanding!

I have been wanting to try this place for a while. And finally got a chance today. I ordered the hojicha latte, The Chic, and tater tots. The place is small with a couple tables inside and a couple more outside, so I got my order to go. While I waited outside. The staff from the register brought my latte out for me. That was nice. My food didn't take much longer, and she brought that out too. The Chic was yummy. The hojicha latte had a smooth creamy taste. The brioche bun was soft and fresh. The chicken was a good size piece fried to the perfect crispness. The egg was over medium, so just enough oozy yolk in the center to spill into the sandwich a bit without making a big mess. Every piece of tater tots were fried to the perfect crispness with no soggy or broken pieces. I enjoyed everything I had. The tater tots were a good portion that should have probably been shared. I was pretty full after eating the sandwich. I definitely recommend coming here for a quick bite or drink. Looking forward to trying more things on the menu.

I'm so glad Egg Head is somewhat close to home. First time having this was at one of the San Jose locations. There sandwiches are good for breakfast or an early brunch vibe. The coffee is strong, I like the iced cafe latte. It has a double shot espresso and it kept me awake during the day. I got something light and it wasn't too heavy. Tater tots were crispy. Matcha latte is good with the cold foam topping. They provide indoor seating that was only two tables and outdoor seating but it was too cold to be outside. Definitely will be back

Curious to see if any changes were made to the restaurant or its menu, we met here for brunch on 10/04/2025. Upon entering at around 10:30am, we were immediately greeted and seated by the staff. George opted for the Baja Fish Tacos and I got the Meat Lover's Omelette. In addition to the food, we also ordered a couple beverages. Our order didn't take long to arrive. My omelette was made with bacon, sausage, ham, and a medley of chopped vegetables and it tasted pretty good. The accompanied Cajun seasoned country potatoes were pretty pedestrian. George gave me one of his tacos and it was delicious. The deep fried catfish used was crunchy on the outside and moist and flavorful on the inside. Service we received was very good. The staff member were attentive and efficient. The restaurant biz is challenging these days so hopefully the new Clementine's will be able to find its footing.
