I am extremely picky about teriyaki chicken and I have found my new favorite place. They have great service as soon as you walk in the door and the food is awesome! One thing I hate about most teriyaki chicken places is that they use cheap cuts of meat with lots of fat. They don't do that here. It's good quality chicken along with everything else. I think my favorite is the spicy teriyaki chicken. They do have some other variations with added sauces on top of the teriyaki like orange chicken but I think that ends up getting a bit too saucy. We have driven by Teriyaki Madness often and the time was right to get our late lunch. Easy to park and we entered a typical small hole in the wall type with a few dining tables. We see the overhead menu and I asked the young person behind the counter for clarification and advise. The lovely missus is fond of Teriyaki chicken with lots of sauce and he pointed to a bottle of the sweet and sticky goodness. She was happy with the regular order that included white rice and vegetables. My order followed and I had the spicy Chicken Teriyaki on top of fried rice and a handful of nice vegetables. I did not get a receipt upon my payment with a CC. We got our drinks and I liked the sweet Ice Tea. We ate in and had a tasty lunch, and then used the regular sized container to bring home some leftovers for enjoyment later. Teriyaki Madness for our first visit, was a good experience. Visited this place after seeing it on social media. The food was delicious we got the spicy chicken and the steak teriyaki. Both were really good . Service was the only thing I'd say can be better . We were helped by a younger guy that just had absolutely no personality I told him it was our first time there if he could recommend something and he literally had no answer for us. I asked him how is the teriyaki steak ? He made a face and shook his head . Different bases (white rice, brown rice, noodles, etc.). Regular bowl was plenty filling for me. Chicken was grilled nicely with a little char on it. Veggies included cabbage, broccoli and onions. These guys are great. Been here a number of times and the service is always great, the food is always delicious and is pretty much always ready on time when ordering take out. My daughter and I came here on the last day of the Huntington Beach Air Show, and after a half day of shopping, we were famished. We placed our phone order and they gave us a pick up time of 15 minutes. We arrived and waited inside the fast food restaurant. Was craving chicken teriyaki and found this place - $20 for this large bowl and I expected it to be filled with meat but they just stuffed it with rice and even the vegetables are lacking. Came in around 9pm and there was only one customer inside so I don't get the point of skimping during slow hours. The staff was friendly and the place looks clean. I ordered the regular spicy chicken teriyaki and it came out fast. The chicken was good pieces of chunks and plenty of rice and side vegetables. Definitely enough for a lunch or even dinner portion. The spicy teriyaki sauce is not on the sweet side; more savory than other places so if that's your thing, I highly recommend it. The spicy level is up there so tread lightly. Personally, $11.99 before taxes for a chicken bowl is a bit more than what I would pay. So for that reason and only that reason alone, I'm giving it the four stars. That won't stop me from coming back and trying all their other bowls. Good luck! read more

I LOVED their spicy breaded orange chicken. Fried rice is great, and they let you customize the vegetables which is nice. Most importantly is the customer service. Sadly, one order my wife placed was a little overcooked. She was starved so she just went ahead and ate. I called the store and ask to speak with the manager and maybe get a partial credit. He felt so sorry for my wife's experience and offered a meal in the future for free without even asking. No place is perfect all the time, but it says a lot about a place when they take pride in their product in such a way that they make sure if it's not up to their standards they go out of their way to make it right. 5/31/25 First time trying Teriyaki Madness. I was excited, I love Teriyaki Bowls. The service was horrible, not friendly, I was not happy they only take credit cards. You can see the cook laughing all the time as if it was funny anyone was ordering. When I got home I was very disappointed, I should have returned my bowl, This was the very Worst Chicken Bowl I have ever had. All the veggies were raw not steamed at all, no Teriyaki sauce, and only ( 1 ) sauce packet in the bag. I tried to eat it, but placed it in the trash. Never go back again. read more
