The food here is really quite solid. Small place, I was told 95%+ of their orders are to-go. I ordered eggrolls (of course!), egg fried rice, walnut shrimp, and the chicken special. The fried rice is ok, not amazing but good enough. The rest of the food though, really quite good. The eggroll was a vege one and it's really tasty. You can really tell that they're hand made and not left frozen for weeks. The Chinese man that serves you is sooo friendly. Some of my dishes come with steamed rice and he offered but I said the fried rice was good enough. I only ate half of my servings and brought the rest home. When he came to give me to-go boxes, he asked me if I wanted any steamed rice with my to-go boxes! That was pretty awesome to still offer me that rice. read more

I had the Szechuan beef which was pretty good but I did find it a little too salty. Only offered white rice with lunch special and also an egg roll which was fair. Haven't visited EggRoll Kong for MANY years. Decided to try it recently. We always have remembered Tom, the owner, fondly and we like doing business locally. The place is still much the same as it was 20+ years ago. Clean, well-kept and friendly. A very nice, friendly young man took our order and he and Tom served it all. She had the House Special Chow Mein. I had the pork Mushu. Appetizer was Cream Cheese Dumplings. ALL OF IT was very tasty. The servings were quite large (we got to-go boxes). The sauces and seasonings were terrific and the service was prompt. Ot was nice to see and be with Tom again. I am pretty sure we'll go back soon. Thanks, Tom! read more

I like the tofu dish they have! It's bean curd with vegetables on the menu. It's as close as I can get to American Chinese food in this area, that tastes good. However their rice is sub par. And the vegetable egg rolls are typical frozen egg rolls that are mushy inside and taste strongly of ginger. But overall my family enjoyed everything. read more

We just moved into the area and my son wanted Chinese food for his birthday dinner, specifically Honey Walnut Shrimp and Orange Chicken. So I ordered 4 items: those two plus Chicken Chow Mein and Kung Pao Chicken. I can say it was good. Not great. I think it was all pretty standard except the Chicken Chow Mein had a little more flavor. That was probably my favorite thing because it tasted different. My kids thought everything was just ok also. It's a small sit down restaurant. It was pretty packed for a Tuesday night. The service from the phone call to inside the restaurant was very good. Very friendly.
