We had this on our 2nd day and could have planned it out better as the line was so long. It's kind of fast food, but it's not. The line was around 10 deep when we got in line and there was only one cashier. Though that really didn't make a difference as there was a little wait to get your sandwich, but no too much. If they had 2 cashiers they wouldn't have been able to keep up. With 5 people in the kitchen prepping you'd think they would go faster. I'd say you need to dedicate 30 minutes to breakfast. Which I think is a lot of time as it's fast food. We asked for it to go as they have limited seating and I wasn't sure we'd get a seat. As it's pretty much fast food the tables turned over pretty quickly and when we arrived it was packed and by the time our order was ready there were several open tables. Good thing people bus their own tables as they were fairly clean. I had the bacon sunny side up egg sandwich. My husband had something that was scrambled. Both of us enjoyed our sandwiches. My bacon was crispy which is the way I like it. I can't stand limp bacon. The bun was soft and it was larger than Starbucks breakfast sandwiches, but it's also twice the price. I"m not totally down with the name of the restaurant. They could have named it something less suggestive, but it's Vegas so what do you expect. This is a chain and there is another location on the strip that I read reviews for. And I appreciate that a fellow Yelper from my home town did a review and I trust his reviews so I came here with high expectations. It would be nice if they had longer hours for those of us who have early flights out. I wouldn't have minded taking one to go. Would I eat here again. Probably not unless we were in a semi hurry. I arrived 5 minutes before 1230, on June 25, 2026 as I saw they updated their available hours 6 days ago on the Yelp app, and as I'm in line they come up to me telling me they are closing and refused to take my order. But served the two people that were in line before me. First they have to update their hours on the Rio website, it is not accurate and conflicts with their times posted on Yelp. Second if I was already in the line before 1230 they should have to serve me, as I was there BEFORE their posted closing time. I am not staying on property and drove there just to be refused service. The food is good here, and usually consistent. my one star review is simply based on the service and inconsistency provided by the employees working this shift. read more

Quality/Quantity - It has been a long time since I shopped for this brand. I actually stood in the hour + long line when you first opened at Cosmo. I sadly did not enjoy it the first two times I ate there. Today we got the following: Sausage, Egg and Cheese Sandwich - My wife LOVED this. And I thought it was good also. They had such amazing breakfast sandwiches! There was a super long line but it was truly worth it in the end. Everything tasted so delicious. I wanted to try their sausage, egg and cheese sandwich and it was so yummy. We also tried their truffle hash brown which were delicious if you like truffle. If you aren't a fan of truffle, you may not like it but I recommend at least trying them! I also ordered their cold brew coffee and it was delicious. As I was staying at the Rio, my boyfriend helped bring back some takeout. He said the line was quite long, but the food was still surprisingly warm. I thought the sandwich was good, but nothing extraordinary. The truffle hashbrowns were crispy, aromatic, and delicious, but the portion size was small. This is likely worth a try if you're staying at the Rio and want decent breakfast food (that isn't the mid hotel breakfast buffet). Get your schoolgirl giggling ready: Rio Rita is now announcing "Eggslut" over the PA system. Eggslut is an LA-based chain that now has two locations in Las Vegas. This is the second one and is a gem for the continued Rio revitalization attempts. I finally went to grab breakfast for lunch with a buddy. The Bacon, Egg, and Cheese ($11.00) sandwich is a great carnivorous option. The bread is soft, the egg is nicely fried with a runny orange yolk, and the bacon is quite crispy and just crumbly enough. It was not too salty at all. The Truffle "Hashbrowns" ($8.00) are actually tater tots. Every morsel is fried to crispy perfection, which is great since the portion is small enough to match the sandwiches I didn't pick up much rosemary, but the truffle oil wasn't too overpowering; the overall saltiness did have me reaching for a beverage occasionally though. And if you don't mind the small portion, their Orange Juice ($7.00) is a great drink pairing. It's richer in orange flavor than I usually expect at a breakfast spot, and it's not too sweet. You can also ask for a complimentary cup of ice to help keep the OJ ice-cold-killer cold, but they won't provide a cup of water. Since Eggslut accepts Rio Rewards stuff fully, I'll probably be back here in the future for a quick, easy breakfast. Walked back when I saw the lines at Eggslut at Cosmo! The one at Rio definitely has a much shorter line but the environment is not great. There's cigarette smell everywhere. I got takeout of a Fairfax, sausage egg and cheese sandwich and a French toast stick. I would say the first bite of my Fairfax was pretty good but it gets more average as I eat it. We visited Eggslut on a recent staycation at the Rio.. this is the newest location (I believe the OG Las Vegas location is in the Cosmo). On a Saturday morning there wasn't much going on in the RIO but when we arrived at Eggslut there was a line of 20+ people waiting to order, more waiting to pick up orders and almost all of the tables were full of happily fed people. Let's be honest here .. they're not reinventing the wheel.. but they're doing something that's been done before by thousands of restaurants, bodegas (in NYC) and fast food joints for a hundred years or more... But they do it well, and they consistently do it well.. sure there's only a few items on the menu but they flawlessly execute those few menu items. Our sandwich was outstanding.. the menu says over medium egg and it was indeed an over medium egg with a rich orange yolk, the chicken sausage patty was fantastic. I really love getting the Fairfax sandwich as is, and getting truffle hashbrowns and stuff the hashbrowns into the sandwich for that little extra crunch. I also love the egg/potato slurry in the little glass jar. It's a tasty, comforting dish that comes with thin, toasted bread slices which give it a nice crunch; it's so satisfying! The line only had a half dozen people in it so we thought, great! Wrong. Easily over 20 minutes, the process was awful. Another one of those experiences where there were workers looking busy but nothing ever seemed to be happening! The menu is NOT exactly the same and we quickly figured out its because the were cutting corners. Cheap non homemade ketchup, no gluten free buns and the hashbrowns are definitely NOT the same. I wanted to cry. It was grease galore, even the burger on the "salad" tray without bun was sitting in grease. Very small seating area and not clean. I read all the reviews warning about the line and figured I'd be safe on a Thursday at 10:30AM in winter. But nope, the line stretched all the way to the back wall and took about 30 minutes to reach the cashier. That said, once I ordered, the food came out fast. This is great value for breakfast burgers that you can find on the Strip.
