I finally tried the famous Eggslut while I was in DTLA and needed a quick bite. If you're on the go and looking for a fast breakfast with decent quality, this is a solid option. Ordering was super easy, there was no line, and the food came out pretty quickly. The only downside for me was the temperature, my sandwich was more lukewarm than hot, and the cheese wasn't even melted. The flavors were still great, I just wish it had been served hotter. I had the bacon, egg and cheese, liked to spicy ketchup sauce to it. I'm looking forward to trying the sausage breakfast sandwich next. With that being said, I'd definitely come back when I need something quick and convenient. The taste was good overall, and the menu has several other breakfast sandwiches I'd like to try. Tried Eggslut many times and I have not once been disappointed with each visit. This location is located in downtown at the grand Central market. You can definitely expect a bit of wait time as lines are a tad bit long. You can't go wrong with any of their bacon, egg, cheese or sausage, egg and cheese sandwiches but their best option in my opinion is the cheeseburger. The burger comes with a patty/egg/onions/cheese which isnt too heavy. The patty and their egg on the burger just makes so much sense and so soft. I highly recommend getting the cheeseburger. When we went to return the jars, they told us to just throw it away!!! I was shocked, because that's so incredibly wasteful. If they can't reuse them, at least give people the lid to the jars so that they can possibly close them up and take them home to wash and reuse, or put a recycling bin specifically for the glasses to throw out.
