    Texas Brisket Sandwich
    David L.

My expectations were exceeded on this brisk January morning in Alpharetta! Came here primarily for some coffee, but the smell of the bagels and the wide variety of breakfast sandwiches available lured me into ordering breakfast to go. I got the Texas Brisket breakfast sandwich which came with sous vide eggs, brisket, cheddar, and chipotle aioli all on a jalapeno bacon bagel. I opted for the "thin" bagel version to attempt to keep things a little lighter (haha). The flavor was fantastic, and it was plenty filling. The smokiness of both the brisket and chipotle aioli was perfectly balanced. The bagel itself had great chew. It was perhaps the tiniest bit salty, but that was something I enjoyed. The service was really great. Very friendly and accommodating staff, and I received my food super fast. The facilities were clean and I was happy to hang out and enjoy my breakfast while waiting for a ride to work.

Beagle any one? It is exactly what you'd expect... a good place to get your bagel feed bag on. The service was uninspired, the person who helped me just exuded indifference, but what do you expect... the bagels were good. The location itself is clean and has lots of room. The staff did what they were supposed to and my family enjoys the bagels... it hit the spot for what I needed. They do have a very good selection of types of bagels and the bagel pack if a perfect way to feed a family. I give it to snaps in Z formation... does anyone else remember that?

Tried Einstein bros for the first time today. It smelled so good when I walked in and I immediately got hungry. The lady there recommended me the Santa fe. The salsa was a good contrast to the standard breakfast egg and cheese, and it created a unique flavor profile. My friend had the egg and cheese and enjoyed it also. Overall, it was a good experience but it didn't wow me, Gourmet bagels are delicious with jalapeño sauce #bagels #sauce

If your a bagel place & you serve lunch you should have bagels ready to serve. Multiple customers walked out while I waited 25 mins for 1 bagel

Worst place to order online. Rude customer service . No help and the on line orders are completely ignored. Worst site . It's not the place it's the ppl that attend it and should be catering for it.NEVER EVER AGAIN Pics speak louder then words.

I haven't been to this location in a few years. I was in the area so I decided to do an online order. Once I arrived no one was aware of where my order was, although it was past the 20 min pickup mark. The heavy set cashier with the glasses was clueless. Nonetheless, one employee with the short hair & glasses stepped up and apologized and took over making my order. This young lady turned a poor experience into a good one by simply apologizing and trying to be accommodating. I ordered the Texas Brisket which she made with love . It was delicious! I will definitely be back if the customer service that this lady demonstrated is a constant

Hey Robert, Taking a blind eye to all your negative comments has not helped you at all. I've lived in Alpharetta over 26 years and, for as long as this place has been here, it is still a disappontment. The environment has gone downhill. Have you looked at your patio lately? Cigarette butts on the ground and broken fans? And let's not forget the people you hired who are less than welcoming. I get more of a welcome at the local McDonald's. Try to keep up with North Fulton standards or head South.

I almost always enjoy their bagels and cream cheese, but some of the associates are not friendly, considerate or welcoming. I came into the store to purchase a sandwich based upon the January 1-2 promotion. There was one associate taking orders and one associate making food. I waited close to 15 minutes for my food. A third associate came out from the back and started to help make the food. She called out when my order was ready. Apparently the cashier had never asked for my name; therefore, they only knew the food item purchased, not the person placing the order. The associate literally screamed at the top of her lungs announcing the name of the sandwich I had ordered. I initially could not remember which breakfast sandwich I had ordered. She continued yelling the name of the sandwich. When I finally approached the counter, she did not thank me or acknowledge me in a positive manner. Based upon my interactions with this employee, I am inclined to not return to the Einstein Bagels in Alpharetta on Mansell. Before leaving the restaurant, I visited the restroom. It was dirty. The trash can was completely full and overflowing, and there were no toilet seat covers. All three trash cans near the coffee and drink machine were also completely full. As I was departing, I noticed that there were 20+ customers waiting on the carpet for their food.

Dear Robert B. Want honest reviews and feedback? Maybe rather than cutting and pasting a canned response to every negative review, maybe the corporation or franchise owner of this location would be more inclined to keep you employed by taking action rather than your complacent words responding to these reviews. In 10 years as a customer I've watched the decline of this location. Poor Attitudes of employees at the register, lack of cleanliness inside and out, broken refrigerator in lobby for weeks alongside broken and non labeled beverage dispenser, broken patio alarm, broken ceiling fans, cigarette butts on floor of patio, locked entrance doors, dirty windows and the inability for kitchen staff to double toast sandwiches is the just the tip of the iceberg, and I haven't even mentioned the lack of fresh taste. So Robert B, here's your real customer service challenge. Really care about your customers? Send me your direct contact information and meet me at this location with your executive team and prove to me you value the business of the neighborhood you serve. By the way, why does your profile picture feature a women's face and a man's name. No telling what gender you are!

Unfortunately, our excitement quickly faded before we were even seated. When I walked into the restaurant, I was completely ignored by a young blonde employee named Claudia who was standing behind the counter in the waiting area. She looked directly at me and continued what she was doing without so much as a greeting or an acknowledgment. A simple, "Good morning, someone will be right with you," would have gone a long way. Since no one else was in the lobby and I noticed a clipboard on the counter, I politely asked if there was a waitlist. Claudia responded with an attitude that she "wasn't the hostess." I calmly asked where the hostess was, and she simply replied that she was clearing tables. There was no offer to help, no explanation of the process, and no attempt to assist me. She continued interacting with other staff members while I stood there feeling like an inconvenience. Thankfully, another employee who appeared to be a waiter noticed me. He immediately picked up the same clipboard that had been sitting on the counter, took my name and phone number with a cheerful attitude, and let me know it would be about a 15-minute wait. His professionalism completely contrasted with the poor customer service I had just experienced. Once seated, our waiter was personable, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. The food was also very good. I ordered the Chicken Sausage Scramble with hash browns, and it was delicious. My friend ordered the Catfish and Grits and thoroughly enjoyed her meal as well. The food and our waiter helped redeem the experience, but first impressions matter. Management should ensure that every employee understands that providing basic courtesy and hospitality is everyone's responsibility, not just the hostess's. Even if greeting guests or managing the waitlist wasn't Claudia's primary role, there was no excuse for being dismissive or rude to someone walking through your front door. Alpharetta has no shortage of excellent brunch spots with both great food and outstanding customer service. Sadly, because of the way I was treated before I was even seated, I won't be returning to The Southern Porch. I also won't feel comfortable recommending it to friends or family. It's disappointing because the kitchen and our waiter did their jobs well, but one employee's attitude overshadowed what could have been an otherwise enjoyable brunch.

We had no trouble finding street parking, and with the humidity picking up, we were happy to grab a table inside. When we asked for recommendations, the pancakes were the clear favorite. They do take about 20 minutes to prepare, but they're absolutely worth the wait. The waitress also suggested ordering just one pancake for our son since there isn't a kids' menu, and we should have listened! These pancakes are incredibly thick and filling. We also ordered the chicken and waffles, along with eggs, a biscuit, and potatoes. Everything was delicious and really hit the spot. The portions were generous, the food was fresh, and the service made the experience even better. As a bonus, we enjoyed the open green space nearby with a fountain and surrounding shops, making it a great area to walk around before or after your meal. We'd definitely stop here again the next time we're in the area.

The restaurant itself is beautiful with a warm, modern aesthetic and comfortable seating. They also offer outdoor seating, which would be especially nice in good weather. I ordered the ribeye cooked medium rare, and it was prepared perfectly--tender, flavorful, and exactly how a steak should be done. The sides were equally good. I had the fire-roasted broccolini and a salad with a house-made blue cheese dressing that was excellent. Service was fast and attentive, which made the whole experience feel relaxed and enjoyable.
