Sometimes they make mistakes (bagel orders are hard, especially when everyone makes adjustments off the regular menu) and they do anything they can to make it right. They made sure my order was right, and customized to my liking. The chocolate muffin was what my kid wanted and indeed it was very tasty. The nova lox is there classic and exactly what I craved. Came in 20 minutes to close, the guy behind the counter said passive aggressively that he loves last minute customers, tried to tell me he didn't have any sausage patties left which wasn't true, so I got bacon. Another customer came in after me and he said he was out of eggs, which I saw that he did have eggs. He was giving the classic we're out of everything, so that he didn't have to make more sandwich's. We chose this Einstein location from the Einstein app, because the app showed that they did curbside pickup. Spoiler alert: they do not. It's been a heck of a week, and we just did not want to deal with people today. The parking situation at this location is really not great. There are parking spots in front of the building, which look like some well-meaning person had intended to be curbside pickup, but they were just normal parking spots. They taped up signs on the window to call if your curbside order hasn't been brought out in 3 minutes. We checked in, waited, and nothing. We gave it about 10 minutes after seeing how busy they were inside. The number they have listed is a generic Einstein number, and it will hang up on you if they haven't answered on the line after so much time. Okay, fine. I got my mask, and head on in. It's absolute chaos inside. There are no lines, just people everywhere, orders on the counter, orders on the table. Nothing makes sense. I weave through all the people trying to see if I can find my order. It's mixed in with other curbside orders, DoorDash orders, and other waiting customer orders. I grabbed my order, and I got out as fast as I could. I understand we're living in "unprecedented times". All I'm asking is that you don't advertise a service that you have no intention in fulfilling. That's it. Our food was good, same quality we have come to expect from any Einstein location. read more

Staff seemed friendly. I was greeted when I walked in, when it was time to order as well as when my order was handed to me. I ordered 2 sante fe (egg, cheddar and signature egg thintastic bagel sandwiches on the cheddar jalapeño bagel with the jalapeño shmear. I also got a medium Caribou mocha, that's right they carry Caribou coffee brand here, in case anyone has been missing their coffee at all. The fantastic bagels were out pretty quickly and the coffee was made just as efficiently. The bagels got a bit soggy on the 5 minute drive home. The bagel I noticed was the Asiago and not the cheddar jalapeño I had requested and the bagel was definitely thintastic and was regular carby bagel. The caribou white chocolate mocha was good. Service is decent, maybe write down the wants of the patrons to make sure it is done right. The mocha is automated from their machine, no fancy barista work required here. read more

My husband and I enjoy this spot a lot. Delicious breakfast choice. My family and I were taking a road trip to Cedar Point to enjoy some rollercoasters and to prepare us of our trip, one of my sisters brought over a tub of Einstein bagels with an assortment of cream cheeses...and we were hooked ever since. The people and service have always been generous, kind and welcoming. We often order online via our phones and just pull up, grab our food then be on the go. I stop in at this Einsteins on occasion at around 6:30am in the morning. I always order the same thing, a toasted bagel with cream cheese with a cup coffee. I have always found service to be very quick and the employees to be quite friendly. I have noted all the comments in Yelp about slow service and I am just guessing here but it probably occurs a little later in the morning during peak rush hour as I have seen none of this during my periodic stops here. Relative to the bagels, they are always fresh, tasty and with a large assortment to choose from. The Coffee is Caribou brand and is always good and hot where the self serve station is a plus allowing you to get refills and try different types of coffee if you have a mind to. Aside from Coffee and bagels this bagel shop also offers bagel centric breakfast & Luncheon sandwiches, lattes, coolers, cold coffees and smoothies. Overall not a bad place to stop for a quick bite, at least during non peak rush hour times. read more

Popped in here yesterday (Monday) during the late morning and noticed they had a decent selection of bagels, the Pumpernickel being my favorite. I also wanted poppyseed but someone called in their order while I was standing there and took them on me! Customers who brave the snow and cold should be given priority over people who call in! At any rate, the woman at the counter was nice and finally took my order and sent the bagels though the slicer in no time at all. I wish I could give this place negative stars! I don't like to write bad reviews, but this was one of the worst experiences we've ever had. We walked in around noon on Saturday and not one person greeted us. We stood there for several minutes waiting to figure out who was going to take our order. I asked one of the employees, and she said I just had to wait because they only had three people working. So we waited several more minutes while more and more people came in. Finally, we decided to just get a few bagels vs. sandwiches, and I asked one of the other three employees if he could just grab them for us so we could go. I was in need of a bagel and searched for nearby bagel shops and this was the closest. I was slightly worried as this place only had 2 stars on Yelp. Went there anyway, and it was a decently pleasant experience. The staff were friendly and greeted me upon arrival, sandwiches were ready rather quickly, and the food hit the spot. Their refrigerator with juices and other beverages were a bit picked over (I did visit two hours before they closed) and their dining room was closed (looks like they've not reopened it since Covid). Everything at the fountain/condiments station and the rest of the store appeared really clean. Will return again when I'm on that side of town. read more

You must do something about this. Today I walked into a whole restaurant full of people waiting for their orders. I've been waiting for a bagel and a sandwich for over 30 minutes, and there are others who ordered before me still waiting. The staff were not friendly. The cashier would not speak to me when I tried to ask how her day was. I used to work in the service industry, I get how overwhelming a morning like this can be- but I don't think this was a fluke. Einstein Bro's always has delicious bagels. The problem lately has been them running out of items and not showing that in the app or still charging people for the items and not providing a replacement option or calling that an item is gone for the day. One of the more recent times we tried to skip ordering through the app and they said the line was about 45 minutes. So currently understaffed and difficult to have the employees be able to read the orders through the app. read more

I stop here once or twice a week before heading to work. One thing that I love about this location is the staff. They are super nice and make you feel welcome...every time! They recognize regular customers and greet them by name if they know it. The inside is very clean. The coffee counter can get dirty with the heavy traffic but they clean it timely. The self serve refrigerator is always stocked with orange juice, lemonade, cream cheese and salmon. (Has anyone tried their salmon before? Is it good?) I noticed that other locations tend to run out of the more popular bagels like Asiago, but this one always has more in the back prepared. I knocked off two stars for two reasons: 1) They are slow. Granted, they are pretty busy in the morning. However, I feel it should not take as long as it does to put cream cheese on a bagel or make a sandwich. I have waited 10-15 for my bagel before. There are times that I am in and out but it doesn't happen often. They do apologize for the wait. 2) I ask for my bagels not toasted. 50% of the time, they toast it. I dont know if I have to stand on the counter and yell "DONT FORGET, I DONT WANT MY BAGEL TOASTED" or what but it can get rather annoying. Even with these two complaints, I still visit this location. I love their bagels and coffee and this is the closest location to my job. The other is all the way in Troy. read more

I'm a big fan of their Asiago bagel with garden veggie smear or their breakfast sandwich with asparagus and mushrooms. The biggest issue with Einstein is that they are grossly overpriced.
