Wanted to update my review since last week. This time, I got the nova lox, egg turkey sausage breakfast sandwich, and a chocolate muffin. The staff were very friendly, despite it's being very busy. They made sure my order was right, and customized to my liking. The chocolate muffin was what my kid wanted and indeed it was very tasty. The nova lox is there classic and exactly what I craved. I don't know about other Einsteins, but this place maintains good quality and service despite a busy morning.

Great food. Good service. Clean environment. Staff was polite & on time with the estimate given for takeout. The Texas brisket was really good.

We chose this Einstein location from the Einstein app, because the app showed that they did curbside pickup. Spoiler alert: they do not. It's been a heck of a week, and we just did not want to deal with people today. The parking situation at this location is really not great. There are parking spots in front of the building, which look like some well-meaning person had intended to be curbside pickup, but they were just normal parking spots. They taped up signs on the window to call if your curbside order hasn't been brought out in 3 minutes. We checked in, waited, and nothing. We gave it about 10 minutes after seeing how busy they were inside. The number they have listed is a generic Einstein number, and it will hang up on you if they haven't answered on the line after so much time. Okay, fine. I got my mask, and head on in. It's absolute chaos inside. There are no lines, just people everywhere, orders on the counter, orders on the table. Nothing makes sense. I weave through all the people trying to see if I can find my order. It's mixed in with other curbside orders, DoorDash orders, and other waiting customer orders. I grabbed my order, and I got out as fast as I could. I understand we're living in "unprecedented times". All I'm asking is that you don't advertise a service that you have no intention in fulfilling. That's it. Our food was good, same quality we have come to expect from any Einstein location.

Staff seemed friendly. I was greeted when I walked in, when it was time to order as well as when my order was handed to me. I ordered 2 sante fe (egg, cheddar and signature egg thintastic bagel sandwiches on the cheddar jalapeño bagel with the jalapeño shmear. I also got a medium Caribou mocha, that's right they carry Caribou coffee brand here, in case anyone has been missing their coffee at all. The fantastic bagels were out pretty quickly and the coffee was made just as efficiently. The bagels got a bit soggy on the 5 minute drive home. The bagel I noticed was the Asiago and not the cheddar jalapeño I had requested and the bagel was definitely thintastic and was regular carby bagel. The caribou white chocolate mocha was good. Service is decent, maybe write down the wants of the patrons to make sure it is done right. The mocha is automated from their machine, no fancy barista work required here.

I stop in at this Einsteins on occasion at around 6:30am in the morning. I always order the same thing, a toasted bagel with cream cheese with a cup coffee. I have always found service to be very quick and the employees to be quite friendly. I have noted all the comments in Yelp about slow service and I am just guessing here but it probably occurs a little later in the morning during peak rush hour as I have seen none of this during my periodic stops here. Relative to the bagels, they are always fresh, tasty and with a large assortment to choose from. The Coffee is Caribou brand and is always good and hot where the self serve station is a plus allowing you to get refills and try different types of coffee if you have a mind to. Aside from Coffee and bagels this bagel shop also offers bagel centric breakfast & Luncheon sandwiches, lattes, coolers, cold coffees and smoothies. Overall not a bad place to stop for a quick bite, at least during non peak rush hour times.

While cruising through the heart of Royal Oak, I noticed this little deli shop, calling my name…read morepast apartment buildings and local scenery. They have an extensive menu to include vegetarian options which was nice to see. They also have many local brands to include chips, sodas, and other small local business products (caramelized nuts, baked goods, etc.)! On the topic of local businesses, they also had a board which allowed local owners to post business cards and event alerts, fantastic for drawing the community together. Now, I ordered a Reuben as a lover of corned beef and sauerkraut. It was delicious and sizeable, a fair portion size for the money as well. The chips were also delicious having gone for the salt, pepper, and onion variety. A solid crunch and bursting with flavor. Among the positives I have two negatives, both of which are not adequate enough to lower their star ranking. Firstly, it took around 20-25 minutes to get our food after ordering. I rarely hold timing against a restaurant as having worked in food, I know lunch rush exists and things happen. To mitigate this (for those in the area) I believe they have an online ordering system, which I would recommend utilizing! Secondly, they do not have indoor seating, so it is a very grab and go type establishment. This is counteracted by the multitude of benches around Royal Oak, though it would be nice to have some amount of seating, especially for those with accessibility needs and those waiting on their food. Overall, Oak House Deli is solid and delicious and I will definitely stop by again when I am in the area!

Walking in, there was very limited seating and about an hour wait, which clearly showed how popular this spot is. Thankfully, the hostess told us about their basement bar area where you can grab drinks and snacks while waiting. The downstairs area had such a cool speakeasy vibe dark ambiance, vinyl music playing, and honestly the perfect date night atmosphere. The drinks were REALLY good, and you can also order appetizers down there. Once we made it upstairs, we grabbed bar seating and talked to a few people around us who all said this was their favorite spot. Our bartender was amazing -- super attentive, explained the menu well, and gave great recommendations. We ordered the wings (perfectly seasoned and so good) and the chicken sandwich with buffalo added for a little spice... absolutely delicious. I also tried the pistachio martini, and wow definitely one of my favorite drinks I've had in a while. Overall, such a great experience from the atmosphere to the food and service. I'll definitely be back, and I've already been telling all my friends about this place!

I'm obsessed with Grey Ghost so when I learned about Little Ghost, it was on my to go list!…read moreEspecially since I love the burger at Grey Ghost. Located on Woodward, there is ample street parking. I didn't realize that Little Ghost is more of a fast food joint versus restaurant. The burgers are made to order and it does take time - reminds me In and Out with a special Grey Ghost touch. I ordered a single and double ghost burger with fancy fries. You get to pick the temperature of your burger which makes elevates the experience. Have you ever ordered a medium burger at a fast food joint?! Nope! That was a nice touch. Everything was well touch out to the colors and interior pictures to the menu. So cute. Love the vibrant colors. Absolutely obsessed! Everyone was nice. We got our food to go and enjoyed sitting outside with our pup. Yummy!

Ordered a single, a double, two drinks and fries. Totally was 34$. Very expensive I feel. Food was good though. I did enjoy the burger. The single was enough. They don't have any toppings for the burger besides cheese, lettuce and their ghost sauce (basically mayo, pickles and maybe tomatoes). They do have packets of ketchup and mustard if you ask. Fries were fresh and you can tell. This was my favorite thing. They were actually very good. I didn't care for the fancy sauce too much though. But the size of the fries are shareable I feel. Overall I would come here again and try other food. But, with the lack of toppings for the price, it would steer me away.

The people working here were so friendly and personable with literally everyone that walked in the door. The service was top notch. It is also the most adorable place giving vibes of Lamy's food counter at Henry Ford Museum. I loved all of the options on the menu and it was so hard just picking a couple items to try. We had chicken tacos. They were so good and so fresh, I loved the sauce on top. Honestly, I am not sure if it was cheese or a sour cream type mixture, but it was creamy and flavorful. I also had the torta which was absolutely incredible. It had the same chicken as the taco. The chicken was slow cooked or stewed and shredded and was so flavorful, like a homecooked chef's kiss. The bread was fresh. I loved the sauce poured over it, making it a dipped and soaked sandwich. The carrots and cilantro, sliced radishes and sliced fresh jalapenos added a level of crunch, freshness and deeper flavor profile. I would want to get this every time. We also tried their delicious "curly" fries, which were like julienned shoestring fries fired fresh. It seemed like every dish was made fresh and right in front of you. So worth it, plus the prices are great. I would love to try their fried chicken plate, their breakfast sandwiches, and their other desserts. We talked to the man behind the counter who seemed like maybe a manager. He gave us their famous chocolate chip cookie to try. It was fresh baked and delicious. I would love to take home more of those. It looked so simple but was better than many bakeries specializing in cookies alone. He also gave us an second order of fries to take home with my leftovers, just top notch kindness and service. This man told us that OWL owns other restaurants and we would probably like them. I am open to trying more of their group but I do want to return here. This is one of those diners you would find being profiled for best kept secret or gourmet home cooked foods under the guise of fast food.
