this review isn't provided as a public service for your average yelper, nope, actually it's intended for whoever might be robert the manager of this particular unit in the einstein chain. best of all it's free, food business consultant at no charge at all. but i suggest you check this out for yourself incognito. your bagel was okay, but as others have pointed out the "service" sucks. reading others' reviews makes me feel like my experience was not an outlier, know what i mean? the problem i saw immediately is your staff was oblivious to my presence when i walked up to the counter. i'm ok with nasty or sloppy or inattentive people in foodservice. they aren't paid much and the work is a grinding bore after the first half hour. but your crew on this morning at 7am was indifferent, to be more precise they were gloriously oblivious to the fact that i was there and ready for breakfast. these people weren't busy, as i was the only customer in the place. maybe this was because breakfast at 7 am is a bit early (?). then again, maybe t'was because i'm not the only one in the area who's decided to take their breakfast appetite elsewhere... as next time i will. this indifference to customers would not be unusual in a big city, where people tend to be stingy with their pleasantries. but texas is after all the big friendly state for everybody, and the counter staff at other soulless chains like mcdonalds seem eagerly ready to please. (frankly, i can do with a bit less of this texas howdy-do y'all shuck and jive.) but i point this out as a way of saying your employees here stand out and not in a good way. i'm nobody and unless there's a good reason otherwise come off low-profile. so i'm used to being ignored, but first thing in the morning show a little love, eh? so there you have it, robert the business manager, and all it cost you is to show a bit of courtesy so lacking in your operation: don't insult our intelligence with that offer to contact you so you can make it right. that phony baloney is about as useful as soap on a rope and in any case i'm not coming back. read more

I know there are a lot of great new bagel places in Dallas, but I don't think you could possibly get a better deal than Einstein Bagels loyalty program available every Monday...a baker's dozen bagels for a very reduced price. I even get an additional senior discount..and their bagels are delicious! My favorite is the Asiago Cheese. Leticia, the manager was very helpful and friendly. Came in for Breakfast this past Friday and in their defense, they were very busy, but there's no excuse for treating anyone the way I was treated. I was "greeted" by a woman who let me know I was at the wrong counter by pointing over to the other register. She follows me over to the other counter and she immediately seems inconvenienced by my presence alone. I start to order and with any additional questions I had about the menu I'd get an eye roll. (Only asked 2 questions btw.) I asked a question about their fraps and that was her final straw, she straight up said "I'm bout to go on break" had someone take over for her and walked off. I'm giving this location 1 star because they will not answer their phone. If you answered the phone I would not be giving this review. I stopped by this am and bought 3 bagels. 2 avocado turkey and 1 all nighter. I called to speak to a manager to let him/her know that smushed into the avocado was a black, slightly curly hair, about 24" long. Long and thick enough to gag on. I wanted to suggest that his staff with long hair make sure to put it in a net or ponytail to avoid chocking the customers. If you choose to eat here check make sure to look carefully at the inside of your bagel for unexpected garnishes. The manager should be made aware the thought alone of eating this was nauseating, but seeing it tangled with the green avocado made my stomach churn. I gagged on the spot and couldn't bring myself to eat another bite. Hygiene standards like this are beyond unacceptable. read more

I come here maybe once a month. I'm a real fan of their menu. Not sure if it's the summer season, but there seems to be a lack of urgency in the employees. One girl is working the register and another one is working on the sandwiches. I've seen three other employees walk by without helping out. I worked briefly for Einstein's once, so I should know how their workspace operates. Still, it always dumbfounds me when I don't see a manager step in and help the team. Great location off of Forrest and Inwood. Parking is plentiful because they share a lot with Lowe's. Friendly enough staff and quick service. I always enjoy munching on Einstein's bagels. And I must say that this place has the best coffee, even better than Starbucks, Panera, 7-eleven, etc. My husband, my 2 year old girl, and I love coming here. The manager Earl is so great with customer service! He remembers our names and he is great with kids! He is also kind and helpful towards his people when they ask him for help with the computer. Ok so I usually go in on Mondays. They always have the box of bagels for $7 or add cream cheese (2) and it's $12. 9 times out of 10 it's never that busy but that day was a little crazy. Plus I think the girl running the register was new. So I used my member scan from my phone and it should of rang up $12 but instead I was charged regular price. I have visited three times in the past month. I love the food and coffee. However, service is very slow for one bagel and one specialty coffee. Over 15 to 20 minute wait- to go or in store. Usually only one order ahead of me with small orders of one or two items. There are always 3 to 4 employees and only one or two ever seem to know what to do. Regular coffee is always out.
