We've also had their brownie for dessert a previous time and it was delicious. Idk if I remember their mac and cheese being this dry from the previous times because if I remembered it that way, I probably would not have ordered it this time. It basically just tasted like plain noodles. There was like a tsp of thin cheese sauce at the bottom of the plate. Eventually a totally different guy came over and introduced himself as if we'd never been through that before. Confusion? Audience. Based on the fancy appearance and ambitious , cocktail-laden menu, I assumed this would be a more adult restaurant (also since they have a speakeasy in the basement). So it was a bit surprising to have a balloon animal artist walking around at brunch and lots of kids, and a mention on the "upcoming events" sign in the bathroom for "Family Game Night." So...who exactly is the audience for this restaurant? The food was quite good: I really enjoyed my fried chicken and ube waffles with spicy syrup, and my boyfriend had the sausage breakfast sandwich which he said was good.
