I had such a lovely, simple experience at EJ's Bayfront Cafe. I ordered two eggs your way with a coffee, and honestly--it was perfect. There's something about a well-made, classic breakfast that just hits, and this one really did. Everything tasted fresh, comforting, and exactly what I wanted. What stood out most, though, was the feeling. The whole experience felt nostalgic in the best way--like a slow morning, no rush, just good food and a warm atmosphere. Definitely a spot I'd come back to when I want something simple done really well.
I'm so glad we decided to come here on our last day in Naples! I ordered the Chunky Monkey platter, after seeing it pictured on Yelp. It was amazing! I've never had anything like it. It was warm waffles filled with macadamia nuts, pineapple, coconut and chocolate chips drizzled with chocolate and topped with whip cream. Very sweet! Flavorful and checked all the boxes for wanting to try something new when in Naples. It was also paired with two eggs over medium which were perfection along with the bacon. Our waiter, Ricky, was great! He shared about the iced coffee and shared the different flavors which I settled on caramel. The iced coffee was wonderful and he let us know they're refillable which was nice. My family was also happy with their meals they ordered. I had a bite of my husband's apple cinnamon stuffed French toast which was melt-in-your-mouth good!! My daughter loved her pancakes, especially because Ricky asked if she wanted chocolate chips in them. We had a great meal and we were so stuffed that we skipped lunch. The cafe is also cute and we will definitely be back when visiting Naples! A must try!
This was a small breakfast café we stumbled upon, and I'm so glad we did. The food was excellent. The crab Benedict was loaded with crab and topped with a delicious hollandaise sauce. The apple French toast was soft, flavorful, and not overly sweet. We ordered tenders and fries for our little one, but I think we enjoyed them more than she did. I never knew I could say this, but tenders were perfectly seasoned. Our server was a sweetheart and very attentive. We're glad we stopped in for a bite.
This place was very busy the morning we went and I was afraid we would have a long wait, but it we got a table very quickly. Our server was very friendly, and later on never let my glass get close to empty, which was awesome because it was busy. We had the bacon and blue burger and one of the Benedicts (I can't remember if it was the smoked salmon or the crab cake...eggs Benedict aren't my thing). The burger was delicious and the fries were awesome. It was some of the best blue cheese I had eaten in a long time. The place looks large from the pictures but it's actually kind of small on the inside, and it's very loud. Add to that the table beside us with some of the loudest, most obnoxious customers I've heard and that made it less than amazing, but the food and service were great!
This brunch spot was a great find! The service was quick and friendly, and the drink options were on point. Everything from classic mimosas to spiked coffees. I loved that the mimosas came in so many flavor choices; I tried the blueberry, and it was delicious. The French toast was good. Nothing mind-blowing, but still satisfying. The bacon, though, totally stole the show...crispy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. Prices were reasonable, and there was plenty of seating, both outdoors and inside, which made for a relaxed, easy going vibe. Overall, a solid spot for a casual brunch with great drinks and quick service. Very dog friendly for well behaved dogs.

Solid breakfast spot in this part of Naples! Food: banana French toast was very good! It wasn't super sweet, but just the right amount. We got the platter, which is nice to add a little extra protein and breakfast samplings to the dish. Bacon and sausage skilled was pretty solid too. It could have used a little more sausage in ours? But the potatoes were tasty and you can never go wrong with a skillet. Service: the server checked on us regularly, and the food arrived within about 15 mins of the order being placed. We were also seated immediately inside. Ambiance: indoor and outdoor seating, with most of the seating being outdoors. It's close to the water (but not on it) so it is breezy outside. We sat inside, there are a couple of small TVs along the walls (volume not on) but it wasn't very loud inside.
This is a no frills kinda place but man was it delicious. They have a little bit of everything and everything we tried was really amazing. We had the Banana stuffed French toast and it was greasy in the best way, haha. Buttery goodness. I wouldn't get that alone because it really is too much but man it checked all the boxes. I also got the avocado toast with over easy eggs and it was a great balance. The bacon was delicious; I asked for it crispy and they delivered. My husband for the huevos rancheros and he truly enjoyed them. The service was great and on point. It was 8 of us and we were in and out in less than 1.5 hours. I honestly want to go back tomorrow and try some more things.
Found this place by accident while staying at the Naples Bay Resort. Cute little place near the bay. Great variety of breakfast and lunch options. Great service from Felecitie. We had the healthy egg white scramble and the pancakes. The server said the pancake recipe was new so it had become quite popular. I see why! It was d"sweet, buttery, fluffy and delicious.
Fresh squished OJ was a great start. The homemade Cinnamon Bun was the best I've ever had. The Bayfront scramble was perfectly put together. Would give it a 5 star but the poached egg on a dish was almost hard boiled. Mentioned to staff went nowhere. No offer to remedy the dish. read more

For starters the environment is nice the being on the bayfront and all that but that's the best part to be honest. The food was so average and the coffee was watered down as hell. I ordered a chorizo skillet. The ingredients sounded tasty but the execution of the dish wasn't that good. It lacked flavor, the only thing giving any flavor was the 5/10 chorizo in the dish. My girl ordered pancakes and one of them tasted so weird. Almost as if the batter was sour or something like that. I didn't know you could mess up pancakes. Either way this place is merely just a nice view, because for $50 for two, you can eat way better food in Naples. Lastly, we asked the hostess if there was any other seating option because it was windy and rainy. She said no, but we saw a clearly open table inside the restaurant that we were later moved to after asking for the third time. Atmosphere -nice. My wife and I are limiting our dining to outside/patio seating. Therefore, I did not see the inside of the restaurant. There are 2 and 4 four top tables set outside next to the restaurant on the sidewalk. The view is of the condos across the street. The tables are a little too small. Service - Good. We were greeted shortly after being seated by our server. Our food was served hot and within a reasonable time. One nit to pick is that our server did not check to see if everything was satisfactory after our being served. Food - Excellent. I ordered an omelet with cheese, ham, and onions, with fried potatoes and an English muffin. Everything was served hot and was delicious. Overall - very good. Katie, the location and ambiance, not to mention the AMAZING, delicious food WOW. I went Skillets and was met with not even a hello and walked right out. I came to EJ's and was met by Gary who welcomed with the warmest hello and got us seated right away. Then Katie came over and welcomed us got us coffee in seconds and menus. I've been to Naples several times but hadn't visited EJ's. I came on Saturday morning, we were sat quickly and greeted right away. Our server was outstanding and friendly, poured our coffee which was very good and came right back to take our order and also made some suggestions. I got the crab cake Benedict and my spouse got the French toast platter, we got a side of crispy corn beef hash, everything came out perfect and hot. By the way they'll ask if you want real maple syrup which was a small up charge. read more
OMG this place is amazing it'll be definitely be my go to when I go to Naples from now on!!! So many choices it was hard to decide I could definitely come here over and over again! My friends who live in Naples took me to EJ's this morning. We had gone to the downtown farmers market first, and arrived at EJs around 8::30am. We had to wait a few minutes for an inside table, but I was still glad we got there when we did. got pretty crowded afterwards. The day was exceptionally cool, and very windy, so sitting out on the patio would not have been pleasant, yes the breeze was swirling through there. I got the Smoked Salmon Eggs Benedict, which included some spinach and tomato on top of English muffin along with quite a bit of thick-sliced smoked salmon. The poached eggs were perfect, and everything was pretty tasty. The the home fries were excellent - the chunks of potatoes were surprisingly creamy inside and not overly salty. My friends devoured their breakfasts of a Belgian waffle and two eggs with sausage and English muffin, so they must've thought their breakfast was pretty good, too. They both got coffees, which were served in an oversized "unique" cup. It seemed like every table had a different design of coffee cup, which was kind of cool. The restrooms were clean, as was the place overall. They also have lunch items, salads, soups, sandwiches, but I believe they serve breakfast all day. Nice parking garage behind the building. Why not five stars? Well, it wasn't "the best I ever had", plus, I thought it took too long to get our food, almost a half hour. What a nice little find in Naples! If you are in town and looking for a decent breakfast/brunch place, EJ's Bayfront Cafe will not disappoint. I came on a Sunday at 11AM. Thankfully I was just by myself so I was quickly seated at the counter without wait, but definitely be prepared to wait if you are with a small party. The cafe is located next to several hotels, so parking should not be a problem. To date, EJ has some of the best coffee I've had for brunch. I actually like my coffee taste just slightly burnt to give that bitter-sweet texture when I add the creamers. The coffee here definitely has a hint of crisp burnt taste. On point! I ordered the bacon and sausage skillet with overmedium eggs. Everything was just so delicious. I finished everything on my plate (or maybe because I was super hungry since I just worked out haha). The skillet definitely hit the spot. I also appreciate that they thaw their butter prior to serving me the food. Some restaurants provide butter that is frozen and it just makes eating a piece of toast a lot more inconvenient. I always appreciate restaurants that notice little things like these. read more

Love love love this place. Be prepared to wait, and they say 45 min but it's always less. Nobody chills long for breakfast- ya know. Love the Jonathan! He's always so pleasant. It's a must visit if you are in Naples, FL. I'll add photos but it doesn't do it justice. read more
Ej's was a pleasant surprise. It's located in a very pretty area along the Bay. They have plenty of outdoor seating, the inside is a bit crowded. The foood is phenomenal. We were a group of 4 and everyone raves about their meals. They also have a variety of freshly squeezed juices- Wow! So good! Definitely recommend. 10/10 read more

Love this bay front spot for breakfast. Cute small place. Our server Felecitie was very attentive to us Ava made sure we had everything we needed. The pancakes were delicious. Definitely ask for powdered sugar and extra syrup. So hot and fluffy. Buttery and sweet! Enjoyed everything! read more
This was our second attempt eating here. This place is ALWAYS packed. I believe the wait was an hour the last time we tried. We got the 2nd to last available table on a weekday around 10-11. We had the southwest skillet and the Belgian waffle. Very tasty and very fresh. Had mimosas and beer. Great breakfast. Staff was very attentive and friendly. read more

(Phone did not eat first lol) The French toast was amazing! Turkey sausage was good as well, the only thing that was slightly disappointing were the eggs. I ordered egg white scramble w/ veggies. The serving of eggs was so small (hadn't taken a bite of those before the photo, it seemed like just one egg white) and the veggies came in a separate bowl, I had to mix them into my eggs myself. Otherwise everything was great, our waitress was nice, we sat outside in their patio area which was great. read more

Came for a Saturday breakfast and we didn't have to wait more than 20 minutes for a table. The menu is decently sized, and there's something for everyone. Believe me when I say: the French toast is award-winning for a reason. It's definitely rich, so would recommend splitting with someone, but it's absolutely unique and some of the best French toast I've ever had! read more

There are so much raving Yelp reviews about EJ's so I decided to see it for myself. I always love french toast so gotta get those. I got the apple cinnamon french toast as a combo/meal? It came with 2 choice of sides. I got 2 over easy eggs and KIELBASA (smoked chicken sausage?) which is new to my food knowledge. First if all, everything tasted good. Loved the French toast but it's not the typical french toast I had. It tasted like it was fried and coated with cinnamon sugar similar to a donut with apple as the stuffing. Apple tasted fresh and worked well with the sweetness of overall texture. Contrast of crunchy, soft, sweet and slightly sour mad acidic from the fresh apple. Con: you can't finish it by yourself, it's a good sharing portion. That's $16 plus tax and tip ($18+). For a breakfast take out. I don't mind paying for good food so it's still worth it. I would still recommend EJ's and want to go back to try their Egg Benedicts among other recommendations. read more

I was here for lunch with my husband and told myself that I would post our lunch pics since all the pics are breakfast....BUT, when my salad arrived it looked so good that I totally forgot and dug right in! Waiter was attentive without being annoying. Food came out relatively quickly and the check didn't linger (my pet peeve). We started with the mango salsa and chips...Not something I would have ordered normally, but WOW, it was good. The mango salsa had just the right amount of sweet and hot and the chips were hot from fryer without being greasy and had just the right hint of salt. I had the cajun chicken salad and it was delicious. Portions are large, I ended up letting my husband eat about 1/4 of my salad..I could have finished it though, it was that good. I'll have to try their breakfast next time were in Naples. read more

The place was busy the entire time we were there. I had high hopes after reading all the wonderful reviews. I was disappointed in my meal as it was lukewarm but my boyfriend's was hot so I didn't complain. I ordered the Bacon Benedict and would've expected a bit more bacon than I got. It seems they rushed mine.. half had a slice of tomato the other half had chopped tomato. The hollandaise sauce is very good. I always get it on the side because sometimes I'm not a fan of the flavor but this one was one of the best ever. My boyfriend enjoyed his Southwest Scramble. Service was great. I would definitely come back to try other menu items. read more

Great service, an enlightened menu, and cool breezes off the water make EJ's a Naples favorite for breakfast and brunch. Jonathan, my server, was attentive without being overbearing. I'm an admittedly difficult diner to satisfy, but EJ's Energy breakfast checked all the right boxes: lots of veggies, healthy proteins, and very flavorful. The cost for my scramble and decaf was $25, including tax and tip, but in Naples, that's par for the course. I will come back. read more

All I have to say is - You will not be disappointed ! I have tried several brunch spots since moving back to Naples and EJ's Cafe is by far the best I have had . We showed up with a party of 16 ( celebrating a birthday) and Wasn't sure if they would be able to accommodate us because of size . We couldn't all sit together which as fine ; however the staff that served us was really nice . All the food was delish .
