Bean and Cheese Burrito
Marleen M.

I've been coming to El Amigo for over 30 years and I would just like to say "If it's not broke, don't fix it". I've ordered the same thing every time I come and it's usually always on par. I've not been in a couple years since I've moved so far and I happened to be in the neighborhood so I went. They've changed everything. The beans, the rice, the amount of cheese in the burrito... just all different and not in a good way. I wish they would have just stayed with the old recipes. It still looks the same inside which is nice but service was just so/so. I don't know that I'd be back.

We've been coming to this place for 2 years . The food is tasty and fresh, the restaurant is clean which is a plus. We come here for the breakfast burritos and flautas, yum!

2 crunch taco plate $13.45
Carrie A.

Got a crunchy taco plate with beans and rice, no drink, and was surprised at the price, I mean, I guess prices have gone up everywhere but for 2 tacos, rice and beans it was $13.45 for a fast food restaurant. The quality was good, the chicken didn't have enough flavor, but the crunch was what I was craving.

Pleasantly surprised at how good the meal was. Just enough for lunch, and the price was just right. Hard shell taco beef, beef taquitos, bean and cheese burrito and a drink for under 11$ See ya soon!

VIEWERS BEWARE !!!!!! this mexican food is absolutely terrible, if you want food worse then taco bell... this your spot. I had 10 inch hair in my rice and on top of that half the rice was stale/hair. The taco meat is microwaved too, you can tell from how it all stuck together. charging 5$ per taco plus a 1$ fee to add condiments is terrible. Viewers you might as well go to downtown glendora and go to the mexican spot Ramons which is cheaper and an actually restaurant.

I like this place the chili relleno burrito is really good. Just stay away from the carne asada burrito every bite I had to spit out the beef it was like chewing on rubber.

I wanted a burrito. I didn't know what kind. I've passed this place a few times, so today was the day to actually go in! The menu here has plenty of options for breakfast and after-breakfast burritos. I settled in on a chimichanga. This was after asking many questions of the cashier because, again, I didn't know what kind of burrito I wanted. She was very patient, attentive and thorough with me. 10/10 great service. There was a nice breeze outside, but I opted to eat inside because I really enjoyed the soft Latin pop music playing inside, as well as the peaceful sounds coming from the kitchen. I almost thought I could hear one of the cooks singing. The chimichanga was a very nice size. Fried golden brown and crispy. It was filled well with tender shredded beef, beans, and cheese, and topped with more shredded cheese. Lettuce, guacamole, sour cream, and pico de gallo were served on the side, along with small cups of red and green chile salsa. It was easy to get a perfect bite with this: slice off a hunk of chimichanga, slather on some guac or pico or sour cream, or a combo of these, then enjoy. The guacamole and the pico de gallo are both outstanding. This was a very good meal, and I would come here again. Great service, very good food, very relaxing atmosphere. Great experience overall.

MI SABOR MEXICAN KITCHEN Glendora…read more Mi Sabor Mexican Kitchen brings that comforting, home style flavor that makes you feel like you're eating in your tía's dining room. The plates come out generous, colorful, and full of that slow cooked sabor that only real Mexican kitchens deliver. From the warm hospitality to the bold, well seasoned dishes, this spot is a reliable go to when you're craving something auténtico with heart.

Things get busy…read more Good thing I did, because when I called to check on the pickup, they claimed they "couldn't find" my order ticket. Fine mistakes happen. But what happened next was unbelievable. While I was on the phone explaining that I did place the order and had proof, the chef actually said, "Well, anyone could call and say they placed an order." The audacity. Instead of listening, instead of checking, instead of even pretending to care, I was basically accused of making the whole thing up. And here's the kicker: after all that attitude, all that dismissiveness, all that unnecessary back‑and‑forth, the order ticket suddenly appeared. Miraculously. I still picked up the tamales because it was Christmas and I didn't have time for more chaos, but the damage was done. The situation could have been handled with basic respect and professionalism. Instead, it was handled with suspicion and rudeness. We never went back and honestly, that says everything.

There are three businesses all clustered together, each with a separate entrance, so I ended up accidentally parking in a private doctor's office lot and was told to leave. Eventually, I found the small parking lot with just four or five spaces so if it gets busy, it might be tough. But once I got inside, it was worth it! I entered from the back door, which passes through the restrooms on the left and the kitchen on the right, leading to a cute seating area. It's small but super cozy, with a lovely bar filled with lemons, napkins, and lots of hot sauces at each table: at least seven or eight types! But the real star here is the food. The tacos are absolutely incredible! fresh and full of flavor. I ordered three: carne asada, fish, and shrimp. The fish and shrimp both have the option to be fried or grilled, so I went with fried, and they were fantastic. The flour tortillas were perfect, and I also got a pineapple agua fresca. it was ice cold and so refreshing. The price was really reasonable, and I'm honestly surprised this place isn't more popular. I can see it being a hit so, definitely, I'll be coming back soon!

Cabo Tacos parking situation is definitely a challenge. There's a lot in the back, but it's super limited and super cramped. Lucky for me I found a spot. The location was slightly busy during the lunch rush. There's plenty of seating inside with a mix of tables and counter top seating. Also, there's an outside patio with tables too. They have free water, a refrigerator for drinks and self serve bar for lemons and peppers The staff was helpful and answered all my questions on the Taco Tuesday offer. The orders took a bit of time, due to the flow of customers. I orders 2 chicken tacos for the $1.99 deal and 1 fish taco. The cost came to around $8!! Crazy good deal! To note: there is a 3% charge for using credit cards. The tacos hit the spot. The tacos were packed heavily with cabbage and salsa. The flavors were addicting and the salsa was a great pairing. The fish taco was bomb! I love Baja style fish tacos because of the crispiness and texture. Everything hit the mark and everything is made fresh to order. I saw they offer $1.99 fish tacos on Wednesday so I might need to return again. Overall, Cabo Tacos was a great lunch spot for me. I'd add them to the list of local Taco Tuesday spots! ( ^_^)b

I also don't appreciate the poor attitude that two of the bartenders have been displaying lately. They have favorites and it shows a lot. I understand that when it's time to close it's time to close and go. But if you're serving other people and treating those same people nicer because they're your favorites, well that's not cool. In the end we're all patrons. We all support when consuming. But above all, it's the poor attitude that I will never pay for. I used to like coming here often. I probably will never again. I also know that occasionally in the bar they overcharge for cocktails thinking customers will not notice because they've been drinking and bartenders refuse to adjust the check. This is terrible and now you know.

The combination of pinto beans, grilled chicken, Spanish rice, and Pico de gallo made for a perfect blend. My son had the 3 carne asada taco combo with rice, beans, and a drink. He gave the tacos a 7/10 as well. I ordered the 2 chicken taquitos with a side of guacamole. They were tasty! They're not your typical taquitos..the shell is much thinner, almost like an egg roll wrapper, which gave them a different texture that I actually liked. My only thought was the value. The two taquitos were almost $10, and for that price I think adding a third taquito would make the portion feel a little more in line with the rest of the menu. The 3-taco combo was around the same price and included rice, beans, and a drink, so it just felt like the better value. Service was friendly, and there was plenty of outdoor seating, with some indoor seating available as well. Overall, it was a good lunch stop if you're in the area.
