OK. For a small place with a pretty basic menu, the flavors that this restaurant serves are very good. I had a lomo saltado, which seemed to be the usual dish served across countless restaurants, except that the flavors were exceptional. The same applied to another dish I ordered, an arroz chaufa de pollo, which looked the same as any other one made in Florida, but it didn't taste the same. For this reason, I'm coming back to try the seco de res. As someone being born in Peru, I appreciate these twists in flavor, and I recognize this place as a very special restaurant. Dessert was also very good.

Been looking for a local place in MLB to eat some Peruvian food. We moved here from Miami where Peruvian restaurants where everywhere to MLB where there are very few and haven't been able to find one until today. El Buzo is about 12 miles from my location so not too bad. It has almost 5 star reviews so why not. We drove here today and I was pleasantly surprised. Small, casual restaurant. Friendly service and good food. Although I was hoping that had one of my favorite dishes, Tacu Tacu which they didn't, I enjoyed what I chose. For appetizers we ordered Ceviche mixto and papa a la huancaina. For the main dish we ordered a lomo saltado and seco res of beef stew. And to finish off a chocolate mousse. Our meal was very good and definitely will try to either dine in or take out. Support local business by doing so.

Service was great, food came out quickly, and the beer with the glass was awesomely cold!

Ceviche ($13.95), Pollo a la Plancha ($10.95), Seafood Fried Rice ($13.95), Tostones ($3.95)

Casual spot in Cocoa beach with fresh, authentic Peruvian food! Tried the Ceviche de Pescado ($13.95), Seafood Fried Rice ($13.95), Pollo A La Plancha ($10.95), and a side of tostones ($3.95). Portions were a nice size (not too big or small) and everything tasted great! Nice plating too. Tostones were perfectly fried and slightly sweet, wish they came with dipping sauce though! Friendly staff :)

When I am craving Peruvian food, this place hits the spot. Portions are large, service was friendly.

This is a decent little grill, with interesting *takes* on Peruvian food. It's not Peruvian though.

The starters we chose were delicious! Shared Mexican Street Corn Deviled Egg, Cornbread was amazing along with the the Crab appetizer which was delicious!! For dinner my husband had the Duck. He LOVED it! Had fresh blackberries with a Pomegranate glaze and duck confit hash. I had the Corvina fish. It featured a pineapple salsa along with Mofongo. Amazing. Such a delicious dish. My grandson got the Dirty rice with shrimp and scallops. So good! Absolutely delicious! We finished with delectable desserts which we shared - Key lime pie, Chocolate Pave - so luxurious, and Lemon Blueberry Crumb Cake. What a special night we had. Unfortunately a lot of the execution fell a bit flat, especially after both the menu and it's prices had set our expectations otherwise. The amuse bouche was definitely a palate awakener.. a mix of olive tapenade and vinegary mustard. It wasn't for us, but if the goal was to wake up our mouths, it worked. Then hubs had the scallop appetizer with bacon maple marmalade. He thought it was too sweet, I didn't mind it. Scallops were cooked well. I had the mussels from Brussels, a bit clumsy to eat as the mussels were in their shells and the thin Brussel leaves were scattered within/around, all on a bed of pureed potatoes. But a nice flavor and a good portion size. Then i moved on to the beet salad, which was my least favorite. A dish I enjoy at a lot of restaurants, all with different plating/approaches, this one was clunky, the beets were cut thicker than usual, plated with large proportion dwarfing the citrus and the cheese was presented in medium size encrusted balls. It lacked elegance or delicateness, the flavors didn't really meld as they should. Hubs and I then moved to the main course. I had the crispy gnocci app as my main, which was fine, nothing special and hubs had the catch #2 a tile fish that was just ok. We finished our drinks, opted for dessert elsewhere. They've been around a long time, so I'm sure we will try again in another couple years.

Wasn't a too loud or dead feeling, it's pretty hip and kid friendly at the same time which is rare. The one thing that I have to knock them for is they allow dogs. I'm not against dogs, but when you're having a great time, and you take a sip of your beer and theirs dog hair in it or when the alpha arrives and starts to yap away to get the other dogs in the area to get them in line it becomes annoying. The vibe is very small and intimate run entirely by a husband and wife staff of two. They had 5 parties dining at the same time and seemed to be their only searing for the Friday evening. The wife was our server and was super friendly. They had reached out to me ahead of time due to my crustacean allergy originally saying one of the courses was shrimp which they had no substitute for and so I asked if I could double up on something else and they said they would see what they could do. Not only did they have a substitute (we got to be the first ones to try a brand new chicken dish) but they made sure everyone at the table also got a serving. The meal was 3 courses made up of 5 dishes and they had a 3 and 5 wine glass pairing. The shrimp were huge and I loved the crunch kernels in the salad. The chicken was juicy and had a nice kick. The steak was so tender and the mushrooms were crunchy and flavorful. The sauce in the dessert was also surprisingly flavorful. The only time available for reservation is at 7pm, and only a set number of tables are served at that time. We start with olives as the appetizer, which were surprisingly enjoyable, I normally hate olives but these taste more like olive oil rather than actual olives. Only thing was it was a little saltier than I would have liked. Next was the salad, which was one of the better dishes. It was light, refreshing, and different tastes and textures with the crunchy corn. For the proteins, overall lots of great flavors and is cooked to perfection. My only complaint, again, is that too much salt is used for my liking. The first bite is the best, but then you start to feel it, the need for water. Finally the dessert were picarones, fried sweet potato with a fruit syrup. I was not a fan of the donut to syrup ratio, theres way too much syrup, but at least it's a nice contrast of sweet and crispy golden on the outside, and soft and moist on the inside. I also liked the quantity of the food, had leftovers to take back which is a lot for a Michellin star restaurant.
