Sausage and egg taco, chorizo and potato taco
    Carrie M.

These tacos were so good, and the prices are fantastic. I brought cash because I read the reviews beforehand, but they should really put on their menu that the listed prices are cash prices and that there is an upcharge with credit cards as it doesn't say that anywhere. For takeout, you order at the window and wait outside. They have several picnic tables. There is also an indoor dining area that opens later in the morning than the takeout window. I had two breakfast tacos and was very satisfied with their size and price at $3 each. I had the chorizo and potato taco and the sausage and egg taco. These were filling for breakfast after a run and tasted so good. The salsa was pretty spicy to me.

Enchiladas and one taco carbon and one taco guisada. The rice and beans were bland and flavorless, the enchiladas were just ok. The taco carbon was absolutely gross and flavorless. The guisada meat tasted overcooked and was extremely salty but lacked any other flavor. I did not taste any chilis what so ever. No garlic, cilantro, onion or lime in anything they cooked. There was a small hair in my salsa. The server was very nice and she was doing a good job but the food was just soooooo underwhelming that it was hard to ignore. I probably won't be back. The food looked amazing but once I tasted it I was just so sad but it wasn't horrible. It was just ok. Probably won't return as there are so many amazing spots in the area.

First I want to share this place is walk up and order only until 11. We went planning on sitting in a restaurant and eating, and that was not an option before 11. Ordered breakfast tacos for Saturday morning before sports day. People waiting looked like they had been there awhile so we decided to place our order, go get gas and come back. Worked out well as they were just pulling our order when we returned. Place is old and wait is outside only. Tacos were decent to taste.

3 enchiladas, rice and beans with ranchero sauce and guac. One Barbacoa taco and one carne taco

First time trying this and I ordered it via Favor. This was a lot of food for not that much. I believe this was $13 or so in total. The enchiladas were buried under the sauce but they were very good and spicy. I was impressed with the beans and rice honestly which had great flavor. The tacos were okay, just plain. I added some cheese and sauce to them but overall they were okay. This place isn't bad, if I'm ever in a pinch I would definitely give this another go. It's very affordable.

    Breakfast taco of goodness.

1 of 6 we had family style so I could try lots of things. I think this was a little feast. All were delicious. Bacon and egg was fine, but not exceptional. The rest were art.

    Friday lunch special. Chicken Mexicana.

We had an early dinner so the restaurant wasn't too terribly busy and the ambience was nice. We could talk to each other without having to speak too loudly. My husband enjoyed watching soccer on the television. Our server promptly gave us menus. Got us waters, chips, two salsas and some guacamole. My husband ordered shrimp enchiladas and I got chicken Flautas and my husband got a strawberry margarita. The food came out hot and quickly. We enjoyed it immensely & the guacamole was fantastic. My husband loved his margarita, but I had to drive home! Ha ha. And to top it off, dinner is very affordable here. Their prices are very good. Our server was Angie and she was amazing. She was very attentive to my meal because she had the knowledge of my food allergies. Our service was so good that I'm going to ask for Angie every time I come here. Since I have to be so careful when I eat because I get horribly sick if I eat any cheese or sour cream, it's nice to be confident that I can eat here without worry because Angie's got my back! She really made a difference in my experience at this restaurant. Thanks Angie:)

Coffee was good and came when I ran low. I ordered the poblano omelette which I thought would be spicier, but it was still delicious! I've been told to not go to restaurants on Sundays or Mondays as that is when the chefs take their days off, but not here. Lots of open tables, chips and dos salsas came quickly . I had the Memos special , which is fajita meat cut up mixed with onions, bell Peppers and jalapeños, I added bacon. Man it was good! I got the Charro beans which were outstanding! As was the rice. It was a great dinner! I'm going to ask for more jalapeños next time....

I mentioned to my wife that these kinds of places often have kitchens and boy we were in luck. The man in charge, Albert, descended on us and started simultaneously asking what we wanted to order AND praising the virtues of his tamales, among other things. But he had me at "Birria". After being introduced to birria tacos by my lifelong friend, Joel, I have been a huge fan ever since. So we called an audible and decided to get an order for takeout (Albert could convince you to buy anything, I think). We got two orders of Corn QuesaBirria Tacos and the Jalapeño Popper Specialty Taco. Both were great and I especially liked the Birria Tacos, even eating my wife's portion... "You going to eat that?" The only reason I gave this a 4 star review was because the establishment had a terrible urine smell as if a bathroom pipe had busted; I understand that they are located in the back of a convenient store and it may have been out of their control. Their kitchen was clean as I was just taking a look around. I just want to make sure us as customers are getting food in clean spaces entirely! Other than that, they have good food.

Mhm I was expecting…read moreso much more than the experience I received during my most recent visit. When I arrived, the restaurant was almost empty, which was strange to me, given the early evening hour and past visits. This place has been jampacked, standing room only. The slogan on the wall "Andamos Al Cien" Is a great goal for the bar area, but on my visit, it fell woefully short. The house margarita was barely drinkable, although the presentation was nice, the actual beverage itself in the glass was something less desirable/drinkable. The bartender commented when I ordered my next margarita, with specific ingredients, he said that should make a much better beverage than what you had the last time. Although, It was better, it was not a a great drink, it was not well balanced, something was off. The food itself, the chicken fajita quesadillas was very average food, and I have to question the chicken fajita component. The chicken did not taste that great and it tasted and appeared to be more like a shredded chicken than a fajita chicken. The flavor just wasn't up to the standard of what I have come to know and expect from a great chicken fajita. Service itself, was OK, but nothing spectacular. The bartender did a decent job of keeping my alcoholic beverage needs filled, but my water glass did not receive the attention it deserved and I had to frequently ask for it to be refilled, when I would expect that your normal server/bartender would see that it was empty and either refill it or ask if it needed to be refilled instead of waiting for me to bring it to their attention Super friendly, bartender, and I have heard great things about their food, so I am thinking I may have just caught them on an off night and will give them another chance. If this place was jampacked like it normally is, I think my experience would have been much different.

This is a very scenic and modern upscale restaurant near the heart of downtown Georgetown. The interior is nicely appointed and understatedly elegant. The inside and outside restaurant and bar areas are expansive but easily outstrip the provided parking. There is also street parking nearby, but don't be surprised if you wind up walking from nearby public lots or garages. I can easily see this place being packed. We had a reservation and were promptly seated and offered water service. As with most Mexican restaurants, there's an expansive menu, so we ordered drinks while we perused the menu. I found the Encantada margarita to be quite tasty, but it was a bit expensive. At $11 for a single serving with house liquors, closer to what we've come to expect locally for a Mexican martini (theirs was $18 with house, $24 with call). That's a bit over-the-top IMHO. We were offered complimentary chips and salsa; I remember the chips to be excellent, and the red salsa just right for my taste, but others remarked that it was too spicy. Our waitress (Paulina) joked that the only thing less spicy was their ketchup. They also have a green salsa, which is even spicier, but that we all skipped. The food menu has a lot of chef-inspired offerings. I tried the Grilled Chicken Tacos (Grilled Chicken, Cilantro, Onion, Fresco Cheese) at $16. I had one on flour and one on corn to taste the difference in tortillas with the same ingredients, along with a side bowl of black beans. I found them flavorful but also on the small side for the price. Additional tacos are $5 each. No rice was offered. This was one of their least expensive plates. We had a great time and our drink and food service was nothing less than excellent, but I couldn't help but come away feeling that, for a check that tabbed in just under $100 (with tip) we should have had a fuller tummy. Would we come back? Maybe. We'll have to explore their other options and perhaps graze more off the appetizer menu; however, less than $5 separate most of their appetizers from their plate dinners. This is a place to go for a culinary and visual experience, not an everyday meal.

Once we were checked in, our experience was great. I sincerely wish I remembered our server's name--it was something like Jeane or George--but he was excellent. Truly some of the best service I've experienced. He went above and beyond, recommended popular dishes, and even guaranteed that if we didn't like them, he would take care of it. To my surprise, he was absolutely right. All the appetizers and entrées were great. I ordered a burger, which isn't what you'd typically expect at a Mexican restaurant, but it ended up being one of the best burgers I've had in the area. My wife had the fajitas, and we also shared queso with chips and a sampler of chips and dips--everything was excellent. I'll definitely be coming back to try more items and hope we get the same level of service again.
