I eat here a couple of times each month. The service is super fast and friendly. The food always comes to the table hot. I am a huge fan of the chips and salsa (if a mexican place has bad chips and salsa, I go somewhere else). The prices are also excellent. Obviously it's no Hacienda Colorado so don't come expecting upscale Mexican food. However, if you enjoy the classics, this place is perfect. I usually order the mexican hamburger which I have never been disappointed in. The smothered burritos are also delicious. Honestly, I have never been there when I did not think the food was good. Atmosphere is an open room with no thought to ambiance or function. No idea if we were to wait to be seated, where to wait or if we seat ourselves. Too many tables. Food mediocre (or worse). No attention from wait staff for more salsa or beverage refills. No instruction to pay bill by the bar and not pay the server. Any one of these by themselves is not a big deal. While some might find the food decent, it doesn't compare to what happened to me there. I was brought a dirty plate that had some food stuck to it. I showed it to our waiter and he used his fingernails to scrape off the stuck food and handed me the plate back. My party and I got up and left, I will never set food in there again. read more

This place is similar to a Mom & Pop shop, but it is actually a small chain of restaurants. The Parker location is much bigger inside than it appears on the outside. The food is homey and good, and the portions are a decent size. If you are craving Mexican food, this will scratch the itch. It's not glamorous, but it is worth repeat visits. Oh, yeah....been eating here for many years! The best thing about it is the staff! Even after my husband passed 2+ years ago, these folks STILL treat me like I'm the best customer they have as they did before he died. If I need to kick back, eat my favorite bean burrito prepared just the way I like it, drink a glass of wine to relax while I read a few pages in my book or bring a group of friends, the service is top notch and the food is tasty! No kidding there I was trying to get my family fed before a day of rides at Parker days. Kids wanted a burrito and taco. That's not what they got. We now call it 'the raw meat burrito and the raw meat taco, or, e Coli breading plate. No big deal, stuff happens - buuuuuuuut, when I mentioned this to the MANAGER and that I didn't want to pay for the RAW food he said that I would have to pay but that he would give the kids ice cream (to go with the e Coli I'm sure). Rather than just dealing with the problem his cooks caused he decided to argue with me about how I would have to pay for the food. He won, I got tired of listening to a complete idiot about the cause of raw food and how it is good for me. I would recommend this place if you want all of these items met: 1. I just know I received store bought guac today...runny, odd color and even had those little red peppers in there like the one from the bag at the grocery store...wish I had a pict before I sent it back...only Vegan option is fajita peppers and onions in a tortilla or that terrible guac tostada...told my friend cant change chimi cause all premade (!)...my patron marg was all mixer...service was slow and they weren't even that busy...this place has really gone down hill. read more

Went here with my parents for dinner to try some where different for authentic Mexican food and did not get that ... The guacamole was an off fake green color I asked if their was dairy in it due to my allergies and they said they cut it with sour cream !! Huge disappointment ... The smothered burrito was okay but nothing great and the sopillas we're gross with no cinnamon sugar and were very oily ... Also the wait staff was rude and not accommodating .. I will never go back to this restaurant again!!!!! After going to this restaurant for years, and sometimes once a week. My mother liked their green chili sauce. My mother uses a walker and wears false teeth always asks for an extra bowl of salsa so she can crumble up some chip in to the salsa to make the chips soft. We are their Sunday and I am eating chips and salsa but she forgot to ask for the extra bowl when they drop off the chips and salsa. So I finally get someone attention and I ask for another salsa or 2 because I have eaten half of the one on the table. The man who says he is the manager says to me each additional salsa bowl will cost $1.00. My first thought is he's joking with me, because my mother and her walker, and we set near the cashier when available, every time. So I wait a second and say seriously? He doesn't laugh and says Yes. I say you got to be kidding. Then he says I can refill the one bowl on the table, but no more bowls for free. So I pour the rest of the salsa on to the chips on the table and I hand the salsa bowl to him to fill with salsa and he refuses and ask me to leave the restaurant. Within seconds a waitress walks to us with a salsa bowl and pitcher to refill the first salsa bowl, when he put his arm in front of the waitress to stop her from putting salsa on to the table. We got up and while leaving our food was being brought out. Their food is average and many other Mexican restaurants that won't treat you like this. Side note, the Las Delicias st Broadway and Arapahoe road is nice and they told us years ago the Parker restaurant gets lots of complaints. Do yourself a favor and go someplace else to eat average Mexican food. read more

My husband and I come here often. The service is hit or miss and the food is usually really good. The chips are usually fresh and the salsa is great. This time we went will most likely be our last visit. The chips were not fresh at all like they had been left out all night, the salsa was watered down and bland. My green chili was cold and had no flavor what so ever. We will be going to Casa Mariachi from now on. read more

I've been here awhile back and wasn't excited about the food or staff, so I thought I'd give it another chance today. Apparently food was spilled in front entry area, and it wasn't cleaned up properly. The host rushed us to a seat so fast we couldn't keep up. The waitress told me the taco shells were fried, but they were regular corn taco shells that seem to come from a box. She was too quick to try and take my son's plate from him when he told her he didn't need a box, but he wasn't done with his food yet. They need to slow down, quit rushing around so much. Las Delicias has been in Parker as long as I can remember and is pretty consistent. They have a convenient location in downtown Parker, but the parking can be a problem when there's an event going on. I don't really like the chips or salsa, but they have great Chili Rellenos and Carnitas Tacos. The food is reasonably priced and you can order ala carte items if you're not too hungry. The service was just okay, but the food came out really fast! The restaurant could use a remodel and good cleaning. read more

I live out here in Parker and Mexican is my favorite cuisine. We have been here several times. We always end up with the same waitress... she's rude and makes the experience unpleasant. The food is merely okay, so it's not like it makes up for the shitty service. FYI... they don't serve black beans and it's apparently a hot topic because if you ask about it they get defensive. The owner told me his goal is to please 80% (ambitious )of his existing customers. That should get easier as their number of customers drops. I'm never going here again. Casa Mariachi is a WAY better option in Parker, or if you have the time, Las Fajitas in Castle Rock.... both are a thousand times better food wise and the people care about ALL their customers not just 80%. read more

After reading reviews, I don't know why people are so upset with there prices, food quality, and beverage quality. The soda is always very crisp, and the chili is the best that I've had in Parker. They have the best chili rellenos imo in town. Service is always good, just a bit hasty since it's usually busy. It's a shame that this place is tucked to the side of main street, because it is definitely worth finding and stopping for. The wraparound nature of the place shows they've had to expand as their popularity grew. The waiters are friendly and make sure your glass is filled, the chips and salsa are served promptly, and the menu has quite a bit of variety. They're also very flexible in letting you mix and match. This is a common Sunday lunch stop for my family, and I've yet to be disappointed By them. I love to finish off my meal with their crispy sopapillas, covered with cinnamon sugar and gooey honey. Used to be good. Had take out Wednesday and it was horrible. Carne Asada Platter looked like it was thrown into the container from across the room, and tasted horrible! Also ordered a dozen of tamales.........they were cut in half to make a dozen. So what happened to the whole tamale to make up the dozen??? Oh and they were $15!!! Worst Mexican restaurant ever! No stars -- not even one. Four of us went to the Parker Las Delicias on a recent Wed evening. They weren't too busy, but a waitress grabbed four menus and took off 30 feet in front of us and threw the menus on the worse table in the house near the kitchen. We had to grab another wait staff to ask them to move us to a table where we could at least talk to each other. This beginning experience didn't get any better as we felt like we were not welcome there. The pitcher of margaritas were only just OK; the food arrived lukewarm and not good. The waitress never stopped by to ask how things were but when she arrived with to-go containers, no one wanted them. I told her my chili rellenos were only just OK, but the entire meal was not hot. She simply shrugged her shoulders -- another testament to he fact that the restaurant does't care about treating customers well. We will never go ack there. Ugh. read more
