3 enchiladas, rice , beans and taco with 2 flour tortillas!!!! under 14$ !!!

i simply love this style of mexican food , i'm from the valley and we dig the jalisco style!!! My favorite plate is the plato de mexicano ! this place is on wurzbach and is a hidden GEM! the service is amazing, and the food is muy delicioso! my go to place for mexican cuisine!

    Large menudo

I compare Mexican restaurants to Tommy's Mexican restaurant on Wurzbach; (who has consistently good food). 1. Clean, fast service on Sunday morning 11 a.m. restaurant half full. Wide variety of Mexican dishes to choose from. We got large menudo and omelet w/cheese and hame in it, papa's and refried beans w/ side of bacon. Menudo nice ratio meat to liquid, mild seasoning, not too greasy. Give it B+. Omelette papa's plate: large portions, potatoes cubed, not overcooked, beans excellent, cheese in omelette melts nice. Definitely no overseasoning done. Bacon cold and hard but good flavor. Give it B- compared to Tommy's omelette (that is Awesome). Overall pleasant meal, would recommend restaurant. Prices comparable to other rest

Broccoli in caldo de pollo and no corn? That was weird to us. We mentioned it to the server as well as advised her the chicken was beyond bland - no apology or sympathy. The chips and salsa we tasty though! My husband ordered carne guisada which was mediocre. The rice was delicious!

Carne Guisada w/cheese there was two pieces of meet for that while taco yes 2!!!

Very disappointed with my experience today! I went in and order two carne guisada w/ cheese. It was delicious but look at the taco what's missing??? It had two pieces of meat that's it not even enough to fill the tortilla and I paid $8.50 and left a tip for take out. Needless to say I was still hungry afterwards. Never again!!! This place has fallen off I use to wake up early on my way to work I loved this place

This place is pretty vintage, which caught me off guard at first! But, the food was good. I especially like their chips and salsa. The salsa looks a little different than I've seen at several Mexican restaurants, but was a great pairing with the chips. The women's restroom is a very tight fit and only had two stalls, so might be a pain when it is busy. Quick service and will be back to try breakfast.

Aimply the best when it comes to tacos and the plates. Salsa is amazing. Everyone raves about datapoint. If you havent been here - datapoint gets beat by this place in a landslide. Mini tacos are awesome and they hook up the meat. Breakfast tacos great. Taquitos great. Milenesa great. Soups great. You really cant beat this place. GO if you havent. Sooooooo good

**Run Away** The Salsas are watered down with no flavor. It's so bad that the red and green salsa tastes the same. We ordered breakfast. I always judge a Mexican joint by their "huevos rancheros" it's the basic breakfast plate that is hard to mess up. The eggs were under cooked. I love a runny yolk. But when the egg whites are still clear that's messed up. The potatoes were under cooked as well, almost raw. The bacon was burnt. Damn. This place has such nostalgia for me, have so many great memories and the look of this place is original as hell. I love it. But the food is horrible. The service is great and it's being run by the same people from years back, which was nice to see. They just need a real cook in the kitchen. Used to be good Tex-mex food a couple of years ago. I used to hit this up while at UTSA in '04. My wife's chorizo and eggs were left on the plate. The eggs were too dry. It's like we were served food from a week ago. If they fix the food this restaurant would be a hit!

I was excited to come in and eat since I hadn't had a chance to since before COVID. I remembered how good my breakfast tacos and chips and salsa were. Well cups and salsa are still really good but the food is trash. Seems like whoever they have in the back preparing the dishes are just in a rush to get them out. Let me explain. I ordered the migas plate which came w refried beans and your choice of flour/corn tortillas. My dish was steaming hot, potatoes were undercooked and overall lacked seasoning. My friend ordered the flautas which came w rice beans and a salad w sour cream. Flautas were under cooked (not crispy) rice was overheated and dry. Don't waste your time coming to this place, there are plenty of other Mexican restaurants in the area that are waaay better unless all you're ordering is chips and salsa.

    Mexican hotdogs, yum!

This truck/trailer is actually located at the corner of huebner and Vance Jackson but it's not showing correctly on Yelp. I pass by it almost every day b/c it's super close to my place but for whatever reason I never checked it out. Today I decided to come here for a quick bite on a whim and was not disappointed at all. After carefully studying the menu and reading the reviews, I decided to order the Mexican hotdog and regular pollo taco, $5 for both not bad. Please note they do have a $5 minimum requirement for using credit cards. Service was fast. It only took about 5 mins for me to get my food. Since I live close by, I took them home to eat. I have to say both the taco and Mexican hotdog were tasty. But my favorite is deff the Mexican hotdog! I had never had Mexican hotdogs before. I like hotdogs to begin with but those Mexican hotdog was intense. There was so much flavor going on with bacon bits, sour cream, onions, etc. Deff a winner!! I pretty much licked my hands and I wasn't ashamed of this not so lady like behavior. I can only image how good the food would taste at 3AM in the morning after a few drinks. And that's how late they open on weekdays. On Friday and Saturday nights, they open until 4AM! They are closed on Sundays. Maybe next time after drinking a few fruity beer at flying saucer, I'll come here to get a Mexican hotdog and a corn in a cup. Hmmm, sounds delicious!

Been by this place many times over the years but never stopped. Stopped by for a quick breakfast and got one of my go to dishes-- a torta. For me, flavor aside, a good taqueria has to have three things in the menu for me to consider it not a run of the mill place-- tortas, soups, and shrimp cocktails. So I had to get a torta as I am a nut for them. Every place has breakfast tacos and refried beans etc so I go for the less likely candidates. They get it right in a way that many places don't by grilling the bread inside and out so it gets a little crispy. Good beef and ingredients and very tasty for $6. The coffee was quite weak though. They had burritos and many other things in the menu. I would come here again.

Steak fajita quesadillas with charro beans
    Pam D.

I've been here three times now and everything I've gotten here has been really good. The steak in the steak fajita quesadilla is tender and seasoned very well. The charro beans are one of the best in town, especially if you don't like pork in your beans. The chips and salsa are both homemade.

Pair that with their handmade thick chips, and you're already winning. Then came the mini tacos: chicken, birria, and barbacoa. The chicken surprised me by being the standout, juicy, tender, and perfectly seasoned. The birria followed right behind with that deep, rich flavor that makes you stop mid‑conversation. The margaritas? Smooth, refreshing, and sneaky enough that you don't realize how strong they are until you stand up. What sealed the deal was the service. The staff was kind, patient, and didn't rush me even though I lost track of time chatting on the phone. They even let me hang out until my Uber pulled up. Tlahco isn't just good, it's amazing. 10/10 experience.

I'm not a big fan of chorizo, but I do seek out unique variations of eggs benedict, and this one fit the bill, so I went for it. The flavor combination was perfect, and I wasn't overwhelmed with chorizo. If you like eggs benny, give this variation a try. You won't be sorry! The refried beans - I know it's silly to review beans, but these were a bit different than the normal ones we find in SA. They had a bit more texture, unlike the overly blended beans we're used to. Chef's Kiss goes out to these beans! The potatoes - we weren't sure what the seasoning was, but we think it was adobo. Whatever the seasoning is, it puts them over the top as far as breakfast potatoes are concerned. Good stuff! Just a couple of notes: We didn't get tortillas with our breakfast. It might have been an oversight, or our meals didn't come with them. Not sure. The service was great, but depending on the server you get, you might need to know some Spanish. I give them 5 solid stars for breakfast.

From the moment I walked in, I could tell this place was special. The atmosphere is beautiful, upscale, and inviting. The architecture and design throughout the restaurant are absolutely stunning. Even the restrooms were impressive and reflected the same attention to detail found throughout the entire establishment. The food was outstanding. Every dish was beautifully presented and packed with flavor. This isn't your typical restaurant experience--the menu is creative, unique, and offers something different. You can tell a lot of thought goes into both the preparation and presentation of every plate. What really made the experience unforgettable, though, was the customer service. My waitress, Kreizon, was absolutely amazing. She was friendly, attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely made me feel welcome throughout my visit. Great service can make a good meal even better, and she definitely elevated the entire experience. The outdoor dining area is also beautiful and creates a relaxing atmosphere that's perfect for enjoying a meal and taking in the surroundings. If you're looking for a restaurant that offers exceptional food, incredible ambiance, unique architecture, and top-notch customer service, Domingo is a must-visit. Electronic dance music pulsed quietly in the background. The toilets were all individual unisex stalls that were classy, mine had run out of hand towels. Also, the entire restaurant is very dimly lit. I had to use the flashlight on my phone to read the menu, but I have poor eyesight so there's that, but it might explain the quality of the photos I took. The Paloma drink was amazing. It had a great spicy zing in the back of the throat after every sip. Queso was... kinda plain. It might have been better with the add chorizo option. It was very thick. Shrimp cocktail was big, but we started fighting over the shrimp pieces. There was plenty of onion and tomato left over after the batttle. Pollo Asado was a great flavor and the chicken was juicy. Grilled squash that was on the side was good. Chicken enchiladas were good and had freshly sliced jalapeños, which is always a welcome detail. I wasn't able to taste the quesadilla but my daoughter said it was "really good". Fried Chicken sandwich had a great flavor and the bacon was actually pork belly if I'm not mistaken. Sadly there was more batter than chicken. The seasoned fries were delicious and crispy.

We sat on the back patio for dinner on a day when it was 100 degrees out and there were fans all over to help keep the air flowing, which helped immensely. Their salsa tray is nice too, they have 4 to select from and you get three in this appetizer, but we ordered the 4th as well and all were pretty nicely done. The verde was amazing and the roasted tomato was great, just not spicy at all. I tried their combo fajitas and was thankful they came out being simply plated, rather than on the blazing hot, sizzling skillet - I don't need the show, just the good eats. The meats were decent, the beans were amazing. The tortillas were just ok, as I felt like they were way too thick. They offered corn tortillas too, but I'm in Texas, so you get flour, not corn. Save room for dessert, they have amazing churros! Overall, this was a decent visit. Service was nice too. I'd recommend stopping in.

We decided to try several appetizers to go along with our concha to get a wider taste of their food than we would by just ordering a couple entrees. Let me tell you, this was a great idea! We ordered the Tosti-Ceviche Verde, Panela Asado, Mexican Street Corn, and their Spicy Bean Dip. The Ceviche Verde was excellent, the freshness of the fish and shrimp was wonderful with the chipotle mayo and avocado. We chose to have it on the salsa Verde Tostitos and it was all great combination. The Panelo Asado was a completely new dish for us and was extremely good with a savory flavor from the salsa Tlaquepaque that mixed well with the Panela cheese. Their tortillas though not made in house, are made for them and taste like mom made them. The Mexican Street Corn was great and had the perfect bit of char taste from the corn. It was creamy and flavorful, we did think it could use just a tad more lime juice though. The Spicy Bean Dip was very good. You can't go wrong with Oaxaca, Chorizo, and pieces of pork mixed with some mildly spicy beans. Our server was fantastic. She had great recommendations for us, and was quick with checking on our drinks and generally helping us throughout our dinner. The food was prepared quickly, was hot, tasteful and refreshing. We definitely will be going back, and recommend Pan Fila to all of you.
