Of course, you'd expect to see a Cuban Fast Food chain here in South Miami; no shock there! Every culture loves THEIR own food, that's for sure - and I get it. After a nice walk in Kennedy Park located in the Coconut Grove section of Miami, we drove over to El Palacio Los Jugos for a sandwich and a fruit juice; and on New Year's day, this place was buzzing. There was so many items in which to chose from I literally flipped a coin to decide what to order. I ended up getting a Sandwich Media Noche and a Sugar Cane juice. First off, my sandwich (which was actually a panini) was ridiculously good. I could be funny and say, it was the best sandwich I've had this year (HaHaHaHa) but seeing 2024 is only 14 hours old........... The bread was warmed and baked perfectly with just the right scorch on it and the ham, cheese, pickles and condiments, were integrated meticulously making this one terrific sandwich. My sugar cane juice was very raw and natural and quite good. So far, Miami is batting 100% food wise. At this rate I'll be handing out 4 & 5 Star reviews like confetti.

The environment was typical and the service with a smile wonderful. Every counter had fabulous looking food it was hard to choose. We treated ourselves and realized how crazy the portion sizes were! We also got some fresh juices and coffees to add to our visit. Brought back croquetas and pastelitos too! What an absolute treat! Will come back or go to other sites in the future. YUM YUM!!!

This is the "Manhattan deli" of Florida. The juice is off the charts and this particular location has a large cool outdoor seating area.

Love this place. If you want a quick Cuban food fix, this is the place for you. All the juices (jugos) and shakes (batidos) are so yummy and fresh. They have such a large variety of them. My favorite flavors are mama and mango. Their sandwiches and food by the pound are delicious. There pan con lechon and pan con bistec are my go to sandwiches. The place is outdoors and they have a huge shaded area where you can hangout and eat.

Amazing authentic Cuban restaurant! This place is absolutely amazing! From fresh squeezed or pressed juice to pastries or authentic Cuban breakfast or or lunch or dinner! They have everything! If ever in Miami do try them out everything is absolutely delicious! This trip I got some fresh fruit and Cuban oxtails. Delicious!

I'm no stranger to El Palacio de los Jugos but had never been to this location until I moved nearby. Now, it's rare a week goes by and I don't make a stop! This is my go-to spot for Cuban coffee and treats in the area. Give me a juice, cortadito, tequeño with guava, and a croqueta or two, and I'm a very happy chick. The tequeño with guava especially is what I crave every weekend that rolls around. For juice, you can't go wrong, but I usually rotate between mango and guanabana flavors. Next time, I'm getting a jug to go for mimosas at home. I've also been for lunch and dinner. Their medianoche is pretty solid. My husband and I also like to get rice and beans, ropa vieja or lechon, chicharrones, and yucca to share. No matter what you order from the prepared foods, they load it on and you will be shocked by just how cheap it all is. There is such a wide variety of food, that it'd be hard to not find something that sounds appealing. This is one of my fave spots to bring visitors from out of town. A true Miami experience!

A cafeteria style setup that will cater to ALL AND ANY of your Cuban food needs. If you are ever in the area, please do yourself the pleasure of stopping in and grabbing a bite along with friendly service. I came on a beautiful sunny weekday around lunch hour. They had implemented social distancing and were following protocols very well. I'm a second-generation Cuban-American so my Spanish was a little shaky and this made me a little nervous. The ladies serving food spoke both English and Spanish, they were so sweet!!! It was difficult to choose from the plethora of options they had, especially when it ALL looks delicious! The food was very fresh and constantly having new hot dishes brought out. I went with with the lechon asado covered in mojo. Let me say, this mojo is NO JOKE! It is a garlic laden mojo which is different from your store bought one. It is safe to say that I was in heaven. I finished off with an incredibly fresh fruit bowl. I love papaya and most supermarkets don't offer a papaya fruit bowl! So yummy and delicious! We even placed an order for Christmas Day catering based on how delicious the lechon was! Can't wait to eat it!

Regardless when we arrived they sat us outside which is exactly what we were hoping for. Our server was nice at first. Explained all the popular dishes got our drinks out very quickly. I think she stole our table from someone else because shortly after someone came and we told them we put our order in and he seemed a little bothered. Unfortunately, our other server disappeared and never checked up on us. We pretty much didn't have any napkins during our entire duration of our meal. At least that part was good. We started off with a couple of mojitos and their Vaca Frita Tostones. You get these homemade maduro tostones topped off with shreeded beef in a moon sauce, pickled onion, and aji Amarillo aioli. A very delicious dish that didn't last long. Shortly after we received our main dish. I really hate when they do that. My wife ordered their Abuelas Ropa Vieja and I ordered their Masa de Puerco Chino. My wife didn't really care for her dish much. We've had plenty of Ropa Vieja before and would have preferred a congri type of rice as opppsed to just plain white rice. My dish was 10/10. Like in the name of "chino" this is an Asian inspired dish with fried rice, maduros, pineapple confit and crispy pork. A very delicious dish. It could have don't without the little salad on top, but at least it ads color to the dish. The crispy pork tasted so amazing and the fried had so much flavor. Mix in some of the maduros and you get a sweet and savory dish. Would definitely be returning to try this dish again.

I would absolutely recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Little Havana. We started with The Guac, Aji Tuna Poppers, and Avocado Salad. The Tuna Poppers came with 3 spicy tuna crispy rice and were delicious, however the Avocado Salad truly shined. All the ingredients tasted fresh, and the cumin lime vinaigrette was to die for. I would return for this salad alone! I ordered the Charred Salmon as my entree, and it was fantastic. The sweet potato purée paired with the slaw were complimenting sides to the dish. The hit of the table was the Mahi and Coconut Shrimp Cazuela. Lastly, the staff was phenomenal. We had a large party, but everything came out correctly and in a timely manner.

Wanted a Cubano sandwich immediately upon arrival, so we came straight to Havana 1957. This spot has been recreating 1950s Havana since 2010, right down to the vintage memorabilia and the whole "Un Dia En La Habana" concept, and it's since grown into a small chain across Miami and even Vegas. The Ocean Drive location does it right: great service, very friendly and fast, food that was amazing across the board. Loved my first taste of a traditional, genuine Cuban sandwich, ham, roast pork, Swiss, pickles, mustard, all pressed together and served with a mountain of shoestring fries, as close to the source as I could ask for stateside. Ordered a rum and coke and they hand it to you in a genuinely giant glass, perfect for getting the party started, even though it was a random Monday afternoon. Vibes and atmosphere were immaculate the whole visit. Great first stop in Miami, and a great way to kick off the week that followed.
