Very cute place decorated with different tropical fruits, pastries, and desserts. I ordered for pickup online and it was easy and quick. I tried their doctor detox smoothie that had beets, carrots, celery , cucumber, lemon and apple! The first half of the smoothie was so good but the second half was so chewy and tasteless. Then they vanished from every delivery app like a bad magician, only to reappear months later with sky-high prices and smaller portions. Their so-called "extra-large" meals are now what used to be regular size. And the regular size? That's now basically a kid's meal. But don't worry--they're still charging premium prices. Actually, they've doubled them. Oh, and their take on a BOGO? They're charging $24 for two meals that are $12 each. Someone needs to explain to them that "Buy One, Get One" doesn't mean "Buy Two at Full Price." Either they've completely lost touch with reality, or they've staffed the management team with circus animals. I used to recommend this place. Not anymore. Save yourself the time, money, and disappointment. Even the flies have packed up and flown somewhere better. After a nice walk in Kennedy Park located in the Coconut Grove section of Miami, we drove over to El Palacio Los Jugos for a sandwich and a fruit juice; and on New Year's day, this place was buzzing. There was so many items in which to chose from I literally flipped a coin to decide what to order. I ended up getting a Sandwich Media Noche and a Sugar Cane juice. First off, my sandwich (which was actually a panini) was ridiculously good. I could be funny and say, it was the best sandwich I've had this year (HaHaHaHa) but seeing 2024 is only 14 hours old........... The bread was warmed and baked perfectly with just the right scorch on it and the ham, cheese, pickles and condiments, were integrated meticulously making this one terrific sandwich. My sugar cane juice was very raw and natural and quite good. So far, Miami is batting 100% food wise. At this rate I'll be handing out 4 & 5 Star reviews like confetti. read more

Love this place. If you want a quick Cuban food fix, this is the place for you. All the juices (jugos) and shakes (batidos) are so yummy and fresh. They have such a large variety of them. I'm no stranger to El Palacio de los Jugos but had never been to this location until I moved nearby. Now, it's rare a week goes by and I don't make a stop! This is my go-to spot for Cuban coffee and treats in the area. Give me a juice, cortadito, tequeño with guava, and a croqueta or two, and I'm a very happy chick. The tequeño with guava especially is what I crave every weekend that rolls around. For juice, you can't go wrong, but I usually rotate between mango and guanabana flavors. Next time, I'm getting a jug to go for mimosas at home. I've also been for lunch and dinner. Their medianoche is pretty solid. My husband and I also like to get rice and beans, ropa vieja or lechon, chicharrones, and yucca to share. No matter what you order from the prepared foods, they load it on and you will be shocked by just how cheap it all is. There is such a wide variety of food, that it'd be hard to not find something that sounds appealing. This is one of my fave spots to bring visitors from out of town. The ladies in this place were talking amongst themselves while I was standing there for a good 2 minutes. As I patiently waited...when she was done with her conversation she rolled her eyes and said "dime" which in English translates to "what?" While the food in this place is delicious and the portions are hefty I do not see myself coming back here for their lack of customer service and unprofessionalism. I was kidnapped for breakfast and brought here. By kidnapped I mean I was not told where we were going, because my hubby didn't want me to say no. Which I would have.... why? You ask. Knowing the way I get with crowds and my obvious disdain for other human beings in my misanthropic way, I try to avoid places that are crowded (with the exception of Universal Studios/Disneyworld the need for a Rollercoaster fix once a month.. what can I say). How so? Its always busy, at least at the times we can go. Is it worth it? Well, yes. If you can maneuver your way around everyone, and get the gist of the slightly confusing ordering process, the food is authentic Cuban - their Moros y Cristianos are the best in Miami. Variety rules here, there are many pork, fish, chicken dishes to choose from. Plenty of sides, and of course we ordered way too much food. They also have sugar laden and absolutely delicious juices - my tamarindo was fantastic, and I ended up stealing most of my hubby's authentic lemonade (limeade). Three people can leave totally full with 2 meals and a juice each. That comes to a whopping total of about $25. Can't go wrong with that! read more

It is just as good as the other ones in the chain, except that this place has been revamped and improved - the 3.99 breakfast is simply unbeatable. Racing through the Florida Everglades on Tamiami Trail is a special thrill. It is "the wild". And for the 100+ miles of traversing it you know, that if you trudged off in any direction just far enough to lose sight of that road, you'd probably be lost forever - it is that wild. The racing part was really only racing the sun and trying to match a landscape scene with the 10 minutes of "good" light at the end of the day. In the end, it was apparent that for art, we had sacrificed dinner at El Palacio de los Jugos which according to the internet, closes at 9PM. We hit Miami at 10PM. In the middle of the "Hardy's, Wendy's or Taco Bell - BLECHT" conversation like a vision passing by on our right is a genuine El Palacio de lo Jugos! And, I kid you not...Open 24 Hours! Oh.......My.......God. Dinner was fantastic. The carnitas - succulent and tender, black beans and rice (gallo pinto for you Costa Rica freaks) - perfectly seasoned. But the best was the plantains. The guanabana juice was a nice, sugary counterpoint to the rich pork sandwich. The lady at the sandwich counter was very sweet considering I attempted speaking Spanish and understood about half of what she said. The wait was ten minutes because they were slammed at lunch time.
