Decided to stop here for a quick Fathers day lunch since we were all craving Mexican. The place was surprisingly empty and we were seated right away. Shortly after we were seated, our server came by to get our drink order and brought chips and salsa and a bean dip. Everything was so good which made for a really strong start for the meal! My sister in law and I both ordered margaritas. She ordered the Organic margarita and I ordered the Mango Habanero one. I thought my margarita was way too sweet but my sister in law loved hers. For my meal I ordered the three street tacos plate with chicken. This came with rice and charro beans on the side. The charro beans were absolutely BOMB. Probably my favorite part of the whole meal. The chicken in the tacos was also really good. Very juicy and flavorful. Everyone at the table really enjoyed the food. I was surprised to see the negative reviews on here. Was driving by and noticed this adorable place and never had before so we decided to stop in and try it. So glad we did!! We've got a new favourite queso on the list! Absolutely delicious. The champagne margarita is very fun; hadn't had anything like that before and bubbly goes with everything! Sampled the skinny margarita too though and as far as classic margs go, that one was the best of the two. The shrimp nachos were fabulous; great option instead of the usual ground beef. And the whole atmosphere is great... like a Mexican diner. Love the inside and the outdoor patio is so inviting. We will definitely be back! read more

We arrived just after the lunch rush and were seated immediately. Chips, salsa, and a small bowl of refried black bean dip appeared immediately. Drink orders were handled quickly. Margarita tasted like they forgot the tequila. Margarita $4.50, bottle of Bohemia beer $4.99. Our server, Cielo, was all by herself, and it was like she was on roller-skates, everywhere all the time. We chose from the lunch menu, a beef burrito, this is the number seven on the lunch menu $9.99 and the number 25 Chalupa, $12.99. We enjoyed both and had food to bring home. I was summoned to Alvin Texas today by my son and family to try a new Mexican restaurant. This place is on the north side of 35 next to Captains D's. This place had been a different restaurant at one time, but when Covid hit they had to close their doors. After a while emerged this new restaurant. This place was completely redon inside and out with a new and beautiful Decore. They open at 9:00 on Saturday & Sunday for breakfast and stay open till 11:00 on these 2 nights. After we were seated, and our drinks were brought then came the salsa & chips along with a large Queso, and then we ordered, one of my grandsons getting the Burrito Loco along with my son, while the other one got the garlic shrimp with rice and sautéed vegetables, daughter got the Fajita enchilada plate along with all the extras, and I got my favorite soup, Caldo De Res. There were no complaints from any one about their food & as for me, the trip down here was worth it. The next time it will be for their breakfast buffet, but for now everyone was very pleased with their lunch, so please stop by and have a great meal. read more

This place was so super cute, the decor was bright and fun. I loved it. We didn't eat but had drinks and they had a good selection of drinks. The flavors of margaritas were lots to choose from. Walked in to a strong scent of cleaning products, which can be good but it was a little strong. The music is loud fir my preference. The taco salad flavor was good. a solid 7 out of 10. Fresh lettuce and tomato. The guacamole I am not sure its from today, its 11:30 am. Service time is fast and friendly. Hostess checked with me several times. We decided to give this place a try, they just opened about 3 days ago. I always judge a Mexican food place by their salsa and honestly not good at all, but the house margaritas were really good. The staff was really friendly and the decor was very nice. We will come back in about a month to let them get all the kinks figured out. read more

At first I was surprised that this place was practically empty during what should have been a lunch rush (there were two other customers) but, surely enough, the only redeeming thing about this place ended up being the bean dip. Although the prices are decent on the plates (drinks are an *entirely* different story, fyi) the food was far too plain and flavorless. Service was terrible and, in spite of all the brightly colored decor, the place still felt gloomy. Definitely skip this one. As soon as you walk in the entire restaurant smells like bathroom cleaning supplies. Food is not bad. Drinks are not worth it at all.

We had a very attentive & courteous server Edgar. The ambiance varies from bar atmosphere to family dining. All the food we had was excellent: Carne asada,loco burrito, enchiladas plate, fajita nachos & great homemade tamales & tortillas made in house. Also the white queso is like no other in great taste. This restaurant has the best service. On the weekends, they serve a breakfast buffet. Come prepared with stretchy pants; you will make at least two trips to the buffet. They have an assortment of dishes, including Menudo and Pozole. But, if that's not your thing, they have omelets, pancakes, and biscuits and gravy. Your typical non-Ninfas tex mex food. Stick with the fajitas. They are good. Tacos = ok. Other stuff such as sampler playe = bland. Cheese sticks seemed like they were from the Sonic just a street over and a block down. Wait staff seems confused at times. Decor is lively and truthfully it is the star of the show. read more

We decided that this new place must be open as the parking lot was packed. SO, we decided to try them out. First there were next to no parking spots so that gave me an idea that it must be a great place, however, looks can be very deceiving. The restaurant while busy was far from packed and there were several open tables and booths but after looking at the seating we were asked if we minded sitting at a tall table (i.e., Bar area), we thought no problem. The waiter (bartender) came over, took our drink order and left, he then returned and asked if we needed a minute due to our being new to the restaurant, we said yes, and he said OKAY and left.... He NEVER returned! After 10-15 minutes just sitting there, we asked someone if they could get him, and they left and NEVER came back.... so, we left and will NEVER go back... If you going to open your doors and serve the public, make sure you SERVE your customers. We figured all the cars in the lot must be employee cars since i counted at least 15 bodies that worked there.... Any who, we went to a better-established place and were served with hospitality. I seriously hope this place gets its act together or will eventually close its doors as so many have done in the past. First time here. We had the sampler platter and large margaritas. Please note..I will tell a bar tender how to make my margarita and was very happy with their house margarita . It is delicious. Husband had the frozen strawberry margarita and liked it as well. The items on the sampler is delicious and filling for two adults. Their salsa and black bean dip are delicious. Our server Genesis was attentive without hovering. Looking forward to trying something different next time. Give them a try, you will not be disappointed. read more
