This restaurant was the absolute star of the show from our time in Cabo. Incredibly well-priced, and every single dish was DELICIOUS. More of an authentic experience, if that's what you're looking for. The menu was small, which I always like from a place--it means that whatever they've got, they're doing it well. Every person ordered mariscos and we all enjoyed what we got, whether cooked or fresh. Waitstaff was also incredibly friendly and was joking around with us. One of my favorite experiences of the entire trip.
If you want local and fresh food, check them out. They're authentic, big plates for a good price. The staff is friendly and very welcoming. The food is made to order and doesn't take more than 10min. It's a small restaurant with no air conditioning, but if you want to feel like a local, this is it. We love coming here and we'll be back!
On the corner of Nino Heroes and Zaragoza you will find a small -not so fancy- seafood restaurant. On its palapa roof top, you will see a banner "$25 lobster." It's true! Even better, besides the lobster deal, this restaurant offers a variety of delicious speciality seafood dishes. When in Cabo, El Pescador has been our family and friends' favorite seafood spot. The lobster and streak deal is a popular order for my family, including ceviches, clams, oysters, fried fish and other shrimp dishes. My personal favorite is the shrimp ceviche, always tasty and delicious. Servers are a mixture of friendly, welcoming, fun and attentive folks. You will run into Senor Roberto, Rodrigo and Jesus on most days. There are usually two cooks running the kitchen. Home style cooking. You can see them doing what they do best from across the dining area of the restaurant. It's amazing what they can do in such limited size kitchen. On that note, compliments to the cook as my friend commented on the fried fish he ordered was THE best tasting fish he can remember in a long time. Meaty and fried perfectly. Hands down, the best so far. Our dining experience has been during lunch and dinner time. We have yet to make it for breakfast. One day, we will. El Pescador is usually packed, but for some reason, and without making table reservations, there's always a one available for my family and friends when we visit. Rarely have we waited. Next time you're in Cabo, give El Pescador a try. It's minutes away from the Marina and a few blocks from the main strip.

WOW! SO GOOD! Muy delicioso! My husband and I ordered the steak and lobster each and we were very impressed. Everything tasted good and the steak was cooked perfectly. The lobster was a good portion and full of flavor. Our kids ordered: breaded shrimp, spicy devil shrimp, garlic shrimp and rib eye... each of them cleaned their plate up and were full! We highly recommend El Pescador. Gracias!!
Es muy bueno. Delicioso! Not much to say. Just friendly service. Tasty fresh food. Clean and reasonably priced. This will be our new "normal" when we come back to Cabo.
Tried them for the first time last month and although they may not supplant my favorite hole in the wall places for seafood, I still recommend you try them out. Prices and service were on par with similar places and food was still very good. It's a little further from the main road but still worth going a little further off the beaten path if you want seafood. They have a solid surf and turf combo as well. It still "hole in the wall" like but still very presentable there. The outside appearance is a little deceiving, so don't be like our friend and think "I don't want to eat in a hut!" Lol tbh there are way more hole in the wall places but the food and experience are still great! Don't judge a book by its cover.

My family and friends came here for dinner tonight and had the best freshest seafood! The service was friendly and attentive and the prices were great. We were comfortable and enjoyed our appetizers of octopus and shrimp ceviche. I had sea bass with garlic butter and it came with rice, potatoes and salad. The fish was delicious. Hubby had lobster and steak and he loved it. Came with fresh hot tortillas. Others had whole snapper, stuffed shrimp, scallops and really enjoyed it. This is our new favorite seafood place in Cabo!
So good I visited twice while in Cabo. Unbelievably low prices and the quality, freshness, flavor exceeds the high end resorts. My first visit, I had mixed ceviche; the second, the mixed seafood cocktail. Both were two meal's worth for me. Loved that they included giant chunks of tender octopus and chocolate clams. Bonus - they have Coca Cola in the glass bottles.

While visiting Cabo, we were craving fresh seafood and stumbled upon El Pescador -- and wow, what a find! From the moment we sat down, we knew this place was special. Everything is made fresh to order, and you can absolutely taste the difference. We ordered a seafood platter and everything was perfectly prepared -- tender, flavorful, and incredibly fresh. The tortillas, chips, and salsas were outstanding. The chips and salsa alone are worth the visit, and if you like a little heat, be sure to ask for their special habanero salsa -- it's incredible! It may look like a small, hole-in-the-wall spot, but don't let that fool you. It's just one block off the marina, super convenient, and extremely affordable for the quality you get. The service was warm and attentive, and the entire experience felt authentic and welcoming. This is what Cabo is all about. If you're in Cabo and want amazing seafood without the touristy price tag, El Pescador is the place. I highly recommend going here. You will not be disappointed! read more

While visiting Cabo with our cruise group, my husband and I were craving a whole fish and this place popped up on Yelp so we decided to check it out. I'm so happy we did because the service and food were absolutely amazing!! We ordered a whole fish (grilled) and also grilled octopus cooked with butter and garlic. The tortillas, the chips, the salsas, the fish, and the octopus were super fresh, extra crunchy, perfectly tender, and absolutely delicious and flavorful. We did need to walk about 15 min away from where our cruise tender boats dropped us off, but it was a nice walk next to the water. It seems like a hole in the wall type of restaurant but they have a good amount of tables and seating. I highly recommend checking out this restaurant, you won't regret it. read more
We came for dinner. It was busy at all so we got seated right away. We weren't too hungry so four of us ordered grilled fish fillet, grilled octopus and raw oysters. They were delicious and reasonably priced. The service was good. Overall it's worth the visit if you want a quick delicious meal at a reasonable price. read more

First time in Cabo and this place was the place to go, their mineral lemonade was soo good and the shrimp cocktail was great, definitely leaves you wanting more! Will come back before I leave. read more

Great local restaurant in Cabo. Due to covid you might need reservations. I ordered the lobster, garlic shrimp plate for $16 and I couldn't go wrong. The lobster and shrimp were very juicy. The pacifico michilada is one of the best I have ever had. I will definitely stop here on my next visit to Cabo. read more

Wonderful setting for being off the main attractions. A mix of locals and gringos for breakfast which was plentiful and delicious. Family run, they are very clean, attentive and friendly at a very affordable cost. One of the cooks makes their own habanero salsa that was full of flavor and not terribly hot. They run breakfast lunch and dinner specials and will even Cook any fish you have caught locally. I still want to try some other local places that have good ratings, however I will be back later this week read more

Everything was so very good start to finish. The portion size was enormous. The lobsters were petite but the NY steak was good size and my wife received at least a pound on scallops. House margarita was outstanding, she had a second and not because it was 2 for 1. We had difficulty getting decent margaritas where we were staying at Tesoro. I won't say I've become a tequila expert, but I've learned I love to sip on Respasado Tequila and they have some nice ones. The music is very millennial friendly, not overly loud. We enjoyed the music and the table conversation. With two margaritas and two double shots of Repasado Tequila the bill was still under $50 USD. read more

This is the best and authentic seafood grilled I've had in town. The complimentary corn chips with tuna dip, salsa sauces are delicious. We had the mixed Ceviche, came with crispy corn tortillas. Fresh, great flavours and the crisp is spot on. The El Pescador combination grill is delicious!!Butter and garlic are additive: lobster tail, scallops, shrimp, fish fillet, saffron rice, mashed potato and steamed vegetables. read more
I'm a true yelp reviewer & when I heard about how great this place was I had to convince my husband to try it with me! We both had the $15 special. Lobster, steak, rice, mashed potatoes, veggies (see photo) The helpings for the rice & potatoes are teeny. Still, for the price that you pay; it is well worth it! My daughter even liked the veggies! They give you complimentary guac /chips with salsa and a seafood dip that is amazing!!! Why pay an arm & leg when you can come here! It looks dead on outside and it's in an alley behind "El Squid Roe". Not the greatest area but who cares. Roberto is awesome. He has been there for 38 years and so loving and friendly. Some local dude who stopped to use the restroom there got his mountain bike stolen ! So the only thing I can recommend is, don't leave things unattended,especially around there. It is not the safest location in Cabo. Parking is difficult. We had to park on side streets & walk there. Try it !! My plate was gone within 10 min.! I am picky too! :) read more

Come to El Pescador if you're craving seafood! We tried coming here at night around 10pm but they only open from 8am-10pm so we had to come back for lunch the next day. It was weird because we came around 2:30pm and there was no one but by 3pm all the tables were filled (primarily by locals) I guess people here eat lunch super late as well? We all got the El Pescador combo because it had: lobster, shrimp, scallops, and fish, so we got to try everything. I really like the shrimps and scallops--super delicious! The combo also comes with some veggies, rice, and mash potatoes. The seafood is served with some garlic butter sauce..mmm perfect! Not to mention that eat plate is only about a little less than $20USD! My only complaint was it took FOREVER for our food to come out..I don't blame them because it's a small family business and everyone in the kitchen was rushing but as the tables filled up the orders were probably stacked and the restaurant didn't had enough capacity to make food. I would still come back though because the food tasted so good! read more

Great family run seafood restaurant just off the Main Street behind Squid Roe. Feels like old Cabo! Great food and personal service. Cheap prices for the quality and freshness of food. Lobster and shrimp special incredible deal for only $16. Literally pulled from the ocean today. Cook was cleaning the shrimp before cooking. A must place to go when in Cabo. read more
