Very disappointing. I ordered 4 enchiladas with sour cream. The sauce, the tortilla the cheese is great but it seems that there was no real attempt to make this a hot meal. Great place for a quick bite to eat. Gets very busy for lunch and it's a pretty small dining area. The parking is not bad but it gets loud and busy. The saving grace is the price. I have only been to this location a handful of times and each time I regretted it. I usually go for lunch as I only work a few minutes away. Every time I go there is almost no parking. You are lucky if you find a spot. So one day I went for lunch and no parking so I figured I will just go through the drive thru. That was a bad decision I was litteraly waited in the drive thru for almost my entire lunch. I rushed back to work and wasn't even able to eat( my lunch is 1 hour). Today I went again. When I got there, there were 3 people in line ahead of me and moved very slowly. Then I ordered the 3 taquito meal. While I was waiting for my order to take to go I went to the salsa bar and there was no green salsa so I asked for it at the counter. It took about 5 minutes to get and probably 15 mins total wait time for the food. I took the food and rushed back to work only to discover 2 out of the 3 taquitos were burnt to a crisp and seems they were not properly rolled right so most of the chicken must have fallen out. What was left on there was so dark and crispy it did not taste good at all. In the end I was only able to eat the one edible taquito. Wasn't worth my time or money. That is why I will continue to drive 15 mins away to the next nearest El Pollo Loco and never go back there. A true disappointment. I went through the drive thru for an 8 piece mixed family meal. Staff was friendly and quick. The reason for low stars is THEY DIDNT GIVE ME ENOUGH CHICKEN which was a huge inconvenience. Not worth the trouble. Six pieces only and one was a dried up shriveled wing with no meat. (See photo) I decided to drive all the way back an hour later and they gave me four more pieces but gave no apology for that mistake or inconvenience. Disappointed. The staff was trying to keep up but the cook was obnoxious and was NOT wearing any gloves. I gave it a 3 stars for a few reasons. First, the Manager who took the order didn't smile nor said thanks at any point of our interaction. Second, the place was kind of dirty. Third and last, there were no napkins on the tables. Finding Waldo is easier than finding napkins at this location. Now for the good things. The leg and thigh portions were bigger than at any other Pollo Loco location. I was pleasantly surprised when they gave me my order. The salsa was fresh and tasty. I mentioned above that I was going to give it a 3 stars but i just remembered something which is going to make me give it 4 stars. The salsa bar was out of lemons and I asked a skinny tall employee for them and he immediately went to the back and brought them right away even though he was about to eat his lunch. He could have told me that he was out to lunch or asked someone else to help me but he went out of his way to bring them himself. I didn't get his name but I asked another employee and she told me that his name is Edgar. Thank you Edgar for your great customer service. p.s. I always go to this pollo loco for my lunch time and the drive thru lady she's always there and is very rude over the intercom and when I give her my card to pay she always snatches my card out of my hand but today....this lady was very rude she answered with what do you want and then I told her my order and I pull up to the window and as I hand her my card there she goes snatching it again she did not give me a receipt or anything but this time she told me to reverse and to pull away from the window and that she would tell me when my order is ready which confused me but okay and then she puts her arm out the window with my food and I pull forward and ask her for more salsa and completely ignored me so I left it at that but this was my final strike with this place! I've gone to this location for a $1 quesidalla, taquitos, fries, and even a sundae. Everything is cheap, but mediocre (except for the fries, which are expensive considering they're on the gross side for fries). Anyway, I've gone through the drive-thru all the times I've been here and service is mediocre, the drive-thru cashier juggling the inside customer orders as well. I've listened to customers have their full orders and money taken inside while I waited patiently to give my order at the drive thru. Although you may be the only car in line, expect to wait a decent while to have your order taken, your money taken, and your food given to you. I'd go to another location if I didn't leave nearby to this one and occasionally have a craving for some cheap and fast Mexican food. On the bright side, the incredibly narrow drive-thru has helped me improve my maneuvering ability in everyday driving situations down small streets and into tight parking spaces. :-) read more

Just left this El Pollo location and was helped by Christopher. This man was extremely rude. Did not say one word to me, took my card and charged it, handed me my food SIDEWAYS in the bag so everything was lopsided all over eachother in the container. I asked for two salsas and was given a dirty look as he handed them to me. He never said one word. No hello, no thank you, nothing. I pulled out of the drive through and checked my order to try and fix it and the whole outside of the container is wet with spilled salsa. I left a review for this place on my other account, someone with pollo loco replied and said to contact corporate and when I read it I was like eh more work so I left it alone. Weeks later I had another bad experience after the many times before I said I would never go back. That was my last straw so I decided to contact corporate.
