This review is based off of my short visit experience, not necessarily the food. I do not frequent JM often but I do remember being guided through each step, and this time they seemed to be kind of over it in attitude, which is valid - it is the holiday season so I have empathy there. However, a small pet peeve of mine is when an employee puts the responsibility on the customer to know what to do. Not everyone is a regular. We wanted toppings after they had finish dressing our sandwiches Mike's way, and I have not had issues elsewhere, but here they told me "you're supposed to order those while you're asking for Mikes Way". This is fair to know for next time but I felt rushed and it was not busy at all. Would have been better to kindly reinforce and not act like it would be a crime to add more additions to my sandwich. It's just a sandwich after all. They still allowed us, but the point is I felt rubbed the wrong way. Wanted to ask for a side of sauce but because the energy was a little cold, I decided to not. Just wanted this review to reach management and hopefully this can give the store feedback on how to better approach customer service because little things go a long way. read more

I love the food here, it tastes great! I really want to give them more stars, but the price for a gluten free sandwich is very high. It's about $14 and for that price I can get a poke bowl, a restaurant menu item, or something else that is really a favorite food. Therefore a sandwhich (which is something I usually think of as budget food I can make at home), is not going to be my go to. Often times I want to get a sandwhich here but I think of so many better food items elsewhere for that price, so I don't end up going. Do I recommend it? Yes. Can I go here often? No, unfortunately. Jersey Mike's is better out of other commercial chain sub shops. The better taste is a game changer. The menu selection is also on point with the variety offered. Their bacon is also better along with many of the meats used in their subs. The Eagle Rock location also has noticeably better service compared to other locations I have witnessed. Went to the drivethru on Colorado Blvd in Eagle Rock 3/19/26 around 8pm and waited for over 5 minutes for someone to notice me. Had to honk 3 times and still was ignored. Finally an employee came to the window. When i told him i'd been waiting over 5 minutes for someone to assist, he snapped that the order wasn't due for another 10 minutes and slammed the window shut. Apparently you don't have to acknowledge guests if you can guess which order is theirs in the drivethru - and it isn't ready. There was one customer in Jersey Mike's at that time. Terrible customer service and bad staff attitude. You're better off making the over-priced sandwich yourself and avoiding the negative vibes from this poorly trained staff. read more

Favorite place ever!! Went there on Wendesday August 27th 2025 and I must say the subs are INCREDIBLE! Ordered the #9 (club supreme) and it was the BEST THING EVER! They put the toppings on so perfectly and the amount of juice was perfect. The service was also AMAZING! The girl with tattoos putting the toppings on for me was quick and when I asked extra oregano and pickles she REALLY put the extra oregano and pickles like how I wanted, she made the sub look amazing shes a real sandwich artist and was extremely polite!! The manager who took my order was super friendly as well greeted me with a smile and made my order quick! Decided to eat there and it was super clean, very well stocked up on chips and cookies/desserts. Definitely will be coming back often to get my yummy #9!!!! read more

Surprise to see bad reviews about this place, first time at JM's, I had a pretty good experience. Went this afternoon to get a Philly cheesesteak, it was pretty good. Staff were friendly, they were pretty and polite. The inside of the restaurant could use a remodel but I don't think people eat there. I've been bitten by this place 3 times. First time when they took over 30 minutes on 2 sandwiches when they had no other customers. Second when I places an online order, was instructed to go pick it up after 45 minutes, only to be told " yeah we don't have portobello mushrooms so can't get your order ready". And third when I placed an order, went through, order ready, driver at the door and calls me "they're closed!" What the actual hell!!! This was the worst experience ever. I wish i had went to subway instead of this rancid place. I was really excited to try their new portobello mushroom and swiss sandwich and wanted to add in roast beef, but once i went to the counter they told me i could not add in the roast beef. My family and i ordered three sandwich's, but they only took down two because they assumed i didn't want my sandwich anymore after i was told l i couldn't add the roast beef. then once we went to the counter they only rang up two sandwich, then i let them know i wanted my protea lol mushroom sandwich still. we paid and waited with one of the only girls on the night staff (Aug9, Tuesday @6:30) and she was very rude and cold. my card has a custom sticker on it and it did not read and she kept yelling out to me that it was declined when in fact it wasn't and i had to use apple pay instead. that could have been prevented if she asked for another form of payment. then when we were waiting for the portable lo sandwich, the cook handed it to the cashier and said a totally different sandwich than what i had ordered. she then proceeds to ask what i got and i told her and she just threw in the sandwich (that was wrong) in my bag, very aggressively. we then headed over to the drink station that was overfilled with old sodas and there was a rag in the floor that i slipped on and almost fell. we then left and went to eat our food and i'm not one , but two sandwiches there were particles of what seemed to be mold on both of the breads. it was disgusting and there were also blue stains on the meat. overall it was a terrible experience and i will NEVER come back. the staff was the worst i have ever experienced. i work also in fast food and i get not being in the best mood, but if you don't want to work then do not work in a place where you have to interact with people and be so rude. I hope the mangers or owner can see the message and relay it back and improve their overall customer service and attention to everything. read more

This Jersey Mike's has gone down hill so much. Just last year, the people working there were friendly, even with the pandemic. This time, the guy taking and making my order completely ignored my order even though he had repeated it back to me correctly. It seemed like all the people that worked there were mad at somebody. I sent a screen shot of the time and posted a picture of employees locked in. I tried pushing and pulling. Plus you can check the cameras to see that I'm telling the truth. I remember that 2 LAPD officers also tried to go inside about 1 minute after my attempt, and they had to leave ase well. Simply the worst Jersey Mikes. Not the food, the service. I placed an order for 3 regular subs. An almost hour wait? What was the point of placing the order ahead of time? When I first walked up to the window to pick up my order I was told "a few more minutes" Waited 15 minutes only to be told it would take 10 more minutes, mind you the order was placed 40 minutes before I even got to the store. Hands down the worst experience I have ever had in a sandwich shop. Ever. You'd think an online order they print out and follow would mean it's impossible to mess it up. You'd think. I mean, all they have to do is read the order, make the food, and done. Simple and impossible to mess up. This location went to impressive lengths to prove that wrong. From the condescending, rude emoloyees answering the phone who refuse to give their name (but as the manager also refuses to allow his employees to give out his name, it makes sense) to managers (still nameless) who don't bother to return phone calls (anyone want to bet me that the first employee never even passed on the message?) and a corporate office that tells you if you want to give feedback to a location to fill out a comment card...literally NO ONE with this company cares about the customer. It shows. Who cares if you treat them rudely? They are only lowly customers. Who cares if the order is wrong? They paid for it. Who cares if they have a great experience? It's not the management or the staff. Add in that getting to this location is a pain...and, well, there's a Subway down the street and around a corner and a dozen other places. Heck, keep driving down Colorado until you find another place to eat. Anywhere is better than here. Anywhere. Let's put it this way...I was offered an electronic gift card (no idea of the amount, didn't care) to make up for the experience. I turned it down.
