Pick up an order and when i got home, my order looked like it had been kicked around. All my food was covered in bean juice. The utensils and napkins and my sauce bag was wet. It was DISGUSTING. I've ordered these bowls before from another location and yes i always ask for no beans, BUT they are smart enough to drain some of the bean juice so i don't get a soup. Fantastic for something as advertised as 'fast good' I ordered the combo grilled chicken chipotle burrito with guac which came with a drink and chips. Everything was super fresh. From the slightly heated up chips, to the fresh green and red spicy salsa. And then the burrito. Now using the terminology 'grilled' to advertise the 'grilled burrito' is in the realm of being very liberal and loose. Technically. Kinda. Hand-pressed is a form of grilling something? IDK, it's not the same as a flat top grill though. That involves craft a little bit more effort. So while you get a nice brown mark synth char, it's not a real grill mark whatsoever. But that would honestly be asking too much. It was flavorful regardless. The rice was a little bland, but this is in line with the independent mom'n pop burrito spots that just the same or a bit more. They could not get an order right if it was tattooed on their arm. You have to use a kiosk, but they're getting paid $22 an hour and still they don't get the orders right. This EPL was not the best, but are any of them really? It was lunch time and I had to go to the RR. There was a line outside the door parallel to the counter and the soda fountain. There were 2 bathrooms. What I thought was extremely rude was that despite seeing customers outside waiting in line, one employee with a key entered one of the empty bathrooms. We were not aware that one of the stalls were empty, so it was very off putting that they did that without consideration. I don't normally go inside EPL establishments, I typically order via drive-thru, but this was not an option. I wasn't aware that customers now have to order their own meals via kiosk. While technology is more advanced now, there are drawbacks to this. It creates a longer wait time. Some customers are not as tech savvy, they may require more help than others, therefore it is not as efficient. read more

Location : Sepulveda & National I ordered my meal on there kiosks as that's how they do it now . There was no option to take off the cheese ( kids meal my daughter doesn't like their cheese ) . I paid at the kiosk and told the gentlemen in the front he said he'd let the cooks know . That's when Liz yelled no it's done we already did it . Then I made the mistake of ordering a gift card because they had a bonus card. Never received it. Wrote to them asking about it. They said they would get back to me within 24 - 48 hours. Definitely a quick go to spot for fresh flame grilled chicken and sides to go with the main course. I usually come here after work for dinner or if I feel like hosting a party, they have great party platters and burritos. The dining area is clean and spacious.
