    Especial Pechuga de Pollo

Ordered through DoorDash and the aroma from the bag already had me excited. The food was absolutely delicious. I tried the Especial Pechuga de Pollo and paired it with a Batido Malteada. Both were flavorful, filling, and satisfying. Definitely a spot I'd order from again!

Come with me to El Rey De Las Fritas located in Sweetwater. I'm ashamed to say that after living in Miami for 18 years, this was my first time having una Frita Cubana. I ordered a frita con queso and a frita original, fries, and un batido de mamey. The frita was interesting, in a good way. The color of the meat is what took me by surprise, but it had good flavor. The frita con queso was my favorite. The fries come with seasoning that gives them a bit of a kick. The batido de mamey was perfect and creamy. Overall, I liked El Rey De La Fritas and will visit again. The service was very kind and attentive. Their prices are great and now I have a new burger variety to enjoy.

I love Cuban food, what more is there to SAY I eat a ton of it every time I'm down this WAY From Palacio De Jugos, to some Ropa VI-AY Some yummy Vaca Frita, Llego Y Pan every DAY But when I want a burger, I go without DELAY To a place that visited my heart and decided to STAY So juicy, so messy, almost as tasty as my BAE Come and get Las Fritas from this wonderful EL REY! WHAT! A little bit of Frita's is all I need. And maybe a little bit of Sandra in the sun. Or anywhere really. What to get: Cuban Burger What not to get: Mark Cuban What would be terrible for Pool players: A Cue Ban What would be terrible for Rubick's: A Cube Ban I was bored last night wondering whether I should Frita novel, or wRita song. I decided to do neither, and came here instead for a perfect Cuban burger. Incredibly friendly location of this Cuban Burger chain, and the woman's attitude here was as tasty and memorable as her wonderful Fritoburger, which is one of the most interesting concoctions I've had, and adds to the long list of perfect Cuban treats in Greater Miami and Florida at large. Frita Hayworth owns this chain, by the way, maybe that's why the burgers taste so good. They sell the real thing here and I mean real Cuban Burgers rather than appropriations of them, to the extent that they were surprised that they even were serving to me or speaking English during the process. And I was asked how I came upon the place. So to speak. There should be newspaper articles about this place. Then you could pay some kid to yell "Frita All About It, Frita All About It, Perfect Cuban Burger Place In Miami Will Make You Come..." "...Back For More." There are several other locations and some of them are more popular and busy, but for me personally, none of them compared to this one which will always be my favourite place for burgers in the whole of Miami, and the best Cuban burger place in the world as far as I'm concerned. Or should I say El Monde. But not El Monday... because I usually come here on weekends. And yes, Frita's is better than Ritz's Crackers. Or even Fitz and the Tantrums. By far. Despite their names being so similar. There's a world of difference. Speaking of a world of difference, compare and contrast Anyware with Delaware. And I'd never start up a Cuban burger chain because these are so good, they'd be out of my league. When you're in Miami then, try the "famous five", which are my 5 fave Cuban places in town. Palacio De Jugos for a Guava Jugo. Juana La Cubana for Vaca Frita. Papo Llega Y Pon for their famous sandwich. Azucar for Guava Ice Cream. And this place. Most definitely... this place. Also hit up Pinolandia and Fritanga Cana Brava for Nicaraguan Carne Asada, and Naomi's for Haitian. But make sure you try this place. After all, it's co-owned by "El Rey" Charles and "El Rey" Liotta.

I can only speak about the Fritas but I'm sure the rest of the food is just as outstanding but the Fritas are the best in town...! It's become a tradition for my daughter and I to eat lunch here during the Summer and enjoy the Cuban ambiance and some Fritas with fries. The place is not big and there are some low tables one can sit at but we love sitting at the counter where we can watch them make Cuban coffee, guarapo and the food coming out of the kitchen when the little bell rings...it's my favorite Cuban diner. The staff is friendly and the place is always clean which both are always plus. The Fritas are like no other and their name says it all...they ARE the "Rey de las Fritas". The chorizo and combined meats are seasoned to perfection, flavorful and tender...it's delicious to its last bite and a great size. The papitas Juliana are crunchy and plentiful so much, that some are scattered on your plate. There are different kinds of Fritas you can order but we go with the original one for $4 and it's a handful of goodness..! Maybe my daughter and I should expand our "Fritas eating tradition" to more times outta the year instead of just the Summer...! Creating memories with exceptional food is always a fabulous idea...! Bon Appétit..!

This is a great spot for a quick, informal bite. Although the place itself isn't the most appealing and there isn't much seating, I have enjoyed the food both times that I have been there. There are many options on the menu and their fritas are very flavorful. I have had good experiences with the service and find the prices to be reasonable.

Came in about 20min before closing last night. I must same the service was spot on. They did not rush us, they were patient with us. After we finished eating they asked if wanted dessert or coffee. Very happy with the service. No need to talk about the Fritas, as always they were spot on. My wife and I both had Fritas, my younger daughter had a Pan con Bistec. I accompanied my with a Materva as did my daughter. My wife on the other had went all out and had a batido de trigo.... wow! I tried it since I haven't had one is some time and wow did it taste good. So all in all it was all very good.

    Two Originals. Delicious

This place is an absolute staple and a true hidden gem for anyone who loves a good sub. It's dangerous that it's so close to home ! What sets Hungry Bear apart is the fact that they pack their subs not just with generous amounts of meat, but with serious flavor too. Every bite hits, and it's obvious they season their ingredients with intention. Whether you go for the classic Philly or my go to, the Honey Mustard Chicken, you're getting a sandwich that's loaded and satisfying. Recently, I tried their new BBQ Chicken Bacon Ranch sub and... wow. It was everything you'd want in a messy, flavor packed sandwich. Smoky, tangy, crispy, melty and just perfection in a sub roll. Speaking of rolls, the bread here deserves a whole paragraph of its own. It's always soft, fresh, and just the right texture. It holds up without being too chewy or too dry, and honestly, it makes the whole experience next level. This is a takeout spot, and trust me, it's always packed. That's how you know it's legit. While there's no indoor seating they did recently add two picnic tables outside. If the weather's nice, that's your spot. If you haven't been to Hungry Bear yet, you must go. If you've already been you must go again. Some places come and go, but Hungry Bear is the kind of classic that sticks around for a reason.

Upon arrival, it was not busy, there was one person waiting on their food, we saw that our orders on the screen, and there was only 3 orders total at the moment. However, we probably waited another 20 mins after. While we waited more people showed up, but our food was not getting done any quicker. People who ordered in person got their order first, and they came in at least 5-10 mins after we arrived. I have worked in the food industry, so I do understand that it gets busy, however when we came in time, it was announced that we were there to pick up the food. Only one employee apologized for how long it was taking. I would have thought that our food was going to be done first. The drinks were alright, we got the lemonade, and half sweet and unsweet tea. We ordered the King Club, Chicken salad Sandwich, Spicy Turkey Melt and the Max Spud. Mind you, these items were all half, so imagine waiting more than 30 mins total from the time we ordered to the time we got the food. The King club was good, the honey mustard added a nice sweetness. The Spicy Turkey melt was mid, I think it could do without the avocado. The Chicken Salad sandwich was good too, I love the little sweetness the cranberries added. The Max spud was also mid. I don't think I'm a baked potato kind of person. The vibes were like as if Panera and TooJays had a baby. Would come back for the food but service could improve.
