Really amazing authentic food! We were visiting from NC and found this place by accident. We googled Del Taco (the fast food place) because it's something we don't have in NC. But we found this instead. The food is delicious and really cheap! I had the chicken tacos and they were loaded with flavor. The rest of the family had beef tacos and loved them. We waited about a hour to get 6 tacos and a quesadilla also had to order chips and salsa because we were so hungry and when the chips and salsa came out we knew it was store bought . The waitress took our order and came out with our drinks but never came to refill our drinks the tacos were tiny and not enough to fill us up . Decided to give this place a try because it was rated 5 stars on yelp and was not happy. The waitress we got was not friendly at all. She never smiled or greeted us when she came to take our order. When our food was ready, she came to drop it off and didn't say anything else to us. When she came to take our order, I had asked if the Mexican BBQ tacos were any good and when I looked up, she gave me this weird look and just answered "yeah". We were there for late lunch yesterday, the place is so hot is almost unbearable. They don't offer free chips with the meals, my husband ordered the Mexican bistec and it was ok, the meat was so little alone the lines of 4oz !!!! And the rice was old and reheated. I ordered tacos ! The al pastor tacos are so disappointing !! They aren't real true Mexican al pastor tacos and my luck was that I ordered 2 :(. I ordered 2 more tacos (lengua ) and these two are the only reason I gave 3 stars !!! They are great !! Taste amazing !! 2.5$ a piece are way worth it !! Great decor. We were the only one in the restaurant and you would think the service would be top notch. It was not, we hardly saw the waiter and drinks ran out and remained that way. However, when me and my boyfriend went in the place was practically empty except for another table of two people who had complained to us that they had been waiting 20 minutes to pay. I don't know how this place has good reviews. I honestly cannot review the food because we never made it that far. When we walked in, the waitress looked up at us but continued wiping down a table and then walked into the back bar area. She did not greet us or tell us to have a seat. Another couple dining said they received the same attention when they walked in and told us to sit wherever we wanted. The waitress came back, this time on the phone. She disappeared into the back again without acknowledging us, offering us menus or asking for our drink order. She reappeared a 2nd time - still on the phone - and placed menus on our table but didn't say anything to us. When she walked away, we walked out. Completely rude and unacceptable. There were two other parties in the restaurant. Obviously, they don't want or care about having a lot of customers. We will never go back and we will be telling our friends and family to avoid this sorry establishment. This place was a hidden gem! They had the best tacos I've ever had! My wife and I tried three hole in the wall taco places while we were in Myrtle Beach for the week and liked this one the best!
