Worst Mexican place ! This is my experience. I am a local and I've been to this location many times and everytime its horrible quality! One time I got the 2 mulita for about $10 and it was just poorly made, there was a bunch of guac on one side of the mulita and it was just a unpleasant mess. The meat is not fresh it taste like its been sitting out for a while. They also put alot of fat meat in my mulita barely any good. Its just not the best quality for the price. I ordered 4 tacos de asas plain and my husband ordered enchiladas de pollo. Mind us we were waiting for take out they took forever and finally we had our food we went home and saw that the tacos were not asada plain and the enchiladas were not de pollo we called and complained they said " come back and we will remake it for you guys" so my husband went back to the restaurant and went to re pick up our food he came back and tell me why this still hadn't gotten our food correct. The tacos had a lot of salsa and like I kid you not a whole onion was diced up on them and the enchiladas where not even enchiladas this places just gets food out to get money and does not care about the quality of food or the people. Even tho we had a bad experience we decided to come another day and get their churros we waited more than 30 minutes until they had our churros ready tell me why these churros looked like rocks and where harder than a brick. We went back and I told them I wanted a refund the lady started laughing as when the manger got them out and he even saw how hard they where, he tapped them on the counter and was surprised him self while the lady cashier just looking and still laughing the manger gave us a refund but out of his own pocket I was just mad about the cashier lady laughing about the whole situation I will never be coming here again. Lets start off with the good; the food has been decent throughout the multiple times I have visited and it WILL vary as stated in many reviews! Now with the not so good: First off, it is easily noticeable when food has been sitting for a long time. About two weeks ago I ordered some Mexican enchiladas with pulled pork (carnitas) and they were as hard as a rock. But since i had ordered takeout I was not willing to waste my gas to get a refund. Secondly they seem to be at times very disorganized when it starts to get busy which may be attributed to my next major negative experience. I don't mean to be negative but what happened today for the second time was unacceptable and really pissed me off to be frank because of course it was the SECOND time in two weeks. Today my fiancee and i had ordered what i mentioned before, and then another hispanic couple ordered (mind you we did not order the same order). After the couple ordered we got our drinks as they forgot to hand us our cups and sat down with our table number. Now here's the dilemma: about 6 minutes after we ordered two men came in and ordered and they sat down. Could someone tell me why they got their food in about 10 minutes and they had me and my fiancee waiting over 40 minutes for food..... Not only did they forget about our order THEY DID NOT EVEN APOLOGIZE for making us wait for over 40 minutes! I do not like bringing race into my reviews but the fact that non-hispanic people have been prioritized when hispanic people have ordered first, and to the 1 in a billion chance that it happened to me TWICE in two week is more than just a chance and more than just plain disrespectful stupidity. Not only have i experienced this, but i have witnessed this happened multiple times to this date in this same restaurant! All in all, if you want food that varies in quality, customer service that lacks in what other people review, this is the place for you. ALSO be mindful: they will tell you to have a nice day as you leave the restaurant but they won't own up when they mess up to your face. I love their authentic Mexican food- it's hard to find a Hispanic restaurant that can live up to my mother or grandmothers food and this restaurant would have to be a a close second. I would go 3.5 stars here if I were able to. They have a ton of options which is nice. But for the price, I prefer my go-to taco truck. I have tried the Asada, adobada, and carnitas tacos, and chipotle burrito. The Asada tacos were ok, the adobada was really good, the carnitas tacos had way overdone and tough meat, and the burrito was just ok. We also tried their sopitos and they were ok but not as good as our taco truck. There are still a lot of things on the menu I need to try, but for me, it's not hitting the mark. If I'm only in the mood for adobada tacos and I happen to be within a block or two of El Rinconsito, then I'll probably stop by again. One more thing I will mention that's a positive is how late they're open. You can order delivery up until 23:00 or midnight I think. Most good taco places close earlier than that. In summary, if you're up late watching Green Acres, Fresh Off The Boat, or Chuck, and need some adobada tacos ASAP, El Rinconsito is here for you. read more

Overpriced. They charge you way too much for extras. I ordered a burrito (5 dollars on the menu) and when they asked me if I wanted guacamole and crema they added another 3 dollars. Really?! With a drink I ended up paying 11 dollars. Way way way too much. A little on the greasy side as well. I could go to Taqueria El Chavo in Cashmere and get 2 burritos and a drink for the same price and they're so much better. I'd avoid this place. Throughout the time that this taqueria has been open, I've given it several tries to only come out disappointed with the quality of the food. Today was the last try. I went with a friend today. He ordered the beef taquitos meal and I ordered the 2 half quarter chicken meal. When I got it and took a bite it was the most disappointing, disgusting meal I've ever had. The chicken was over cooked, super dry and it tasted like the chicken had freezer burn. The only decent thing out of the meal was the rice. My friends food was not great either. The taquitos tasted and looked like they had fried them in low heat oil. The tortilla had soaked up the oil and was not crunchy at all like a fried taco should be. The tacos did not look fresh and the taste was also not fresh. It's sad that the quality of food is not great and that this place is a bad representation of what Mexican food really is. Had no idea what to expect pulling in off the main drag, but was looking for Mexican but not the sanitized yuppie Cafe Rio kind (which I have no qualms against btw). I was expecting to find the usual hole in the wall Mexican place but instead got a really pleasant surprise. It is what I would imagine a lunch place in Mexico to be. Chips have a yummy spice on them, the salsa bar has an array of peppers, salsas, hot sauces and the like. They have a huge selection of authentic menu items presented on a big modern digital menu board. Menudo pozole, pollo asado, tacos with a selection of meats to choose from, it's all good. I had the fish tacos which were tasty with a yummy sauce and fresh lemon to squeeze. You can watch the staff make fresh tortillas on the grill. The drink bar has some delicious sweet fresh waters. The rice and beans are nothing special so skip those unless you're just craving a big carb hit. Order at the counter and they bring it to you at your table. Staff is all Mexican-American as are most of the customers. A good sign. Overall thumbs up. read more

El Rinconsito is honestly my favorite restaurant, but this location was the definition of terrible. Me and the group of people I came with arrived here and saw nothing but dirty tables, with NO ONE cleaning them the entire time we waited for our food. We decided to take it to go for this reason. Secondly, my order had rice as a side with it, but at no time did they mention that they were out of rice until I received my meal and brought it to them and asked where the rice was. All they told me was that they were out and in no way did they try to compensate or make it up to me. That was so ridiculous, and if I was the one who paid for the food I would've called them out but I had to let it slide based on certain reasons. And finally, they had NO DAMN FORKS. Again at no time did they mention it until we had to ask where the hell they were at. Didn't even get a sorry. Try avoiding this disgrace of a property that tarnishes El Rinconsito's name. read more
