    Bad customer service

This is a popular bar in Savannah especially one that underage SCAD students go to. Last weekend I accidentally left my wallet there and when my friends and I went to pick it up we only received my cards. We were told that they were not able to give us back my physical wallet or cash that I had. Instead of helping us, their social media manager decided to blame me instead of help me in this situation. Here is proof.

This place looked neat and different so I just had to give it a chance! When I walked in it was everything that I expected it to be so I was really happy. One star was removed for the server not being the best. For how busy they were (not) I would have expected better service and less time to get a drink. Second star was removed because I tried two drink specials that they recommended and I was far from impressed. They were just really sweet and not my cup of tea. Definitely a neat place worth checking out though if you have some time to kill.

Came during the daytime, and it was a really nice place to chill for a drink or 3. I love the gold and glitter that was everywhere. Made you feel like you went back in time. Bartender was very attentive and made a good recommendation. Highly recommend it if you like trying something different to drink. They also have beer for all the beer lovers.

What a beautiful picturesque place to have some bites and cocktails!…read more I was welcomed into this moody, velvety spot with a sweeping view of the river. Beautiful glass, marble, deep colors of navy, mauve, and gold. Service was wonderful, felt welcomed immediately. For my appetizer, I had the crab cake with homemade tartar sauce, which was a light, bright way to start the evening. For my entree, I had the filet mignon. The server will tell you, the menu says tapas, but the servings are larger than that. Meat portions are generous at 6 oz. My only complaint is that I ordered my steak medium and got closer to well done. At least the steak was still moist and not dried out, but I would be hesitant to do the steak again. The spinach risotto I had with it was creamy and cheesy, however, so that was nice. Other options for food include burrata, a charcuterie board, grilled shrimp, sea bass, salmon, scallops. The cocktails are the real star here. They fall under the categories "strong and adventurous," light fare," and "signature." Non-alcoholic cocktails are also available. I started with the medusa 1597, under "strong and adventurous." Made with Old Tom Gin, extra dry vermouth, truffle, grapefruit, and amaro, it was extremely strong. A bold, slow sipper I would have done better to have later in the evening, but I still appreciate the complexity of it. I also had the Bella primavera, a lighter cocktail under the signature section. Made with pisco, blanc vermouth, French herbal liqueur, watermelon, and basil leaf. A smoother, brighter, faster sip than the Medusa. And I also had the blood orange martini, made with French vodka, blood orange, lime, and cranberry. A little sweet, but not cloying, and again, would have been a better starter as opposed to a closer. I think when I return, I will ask the bartender to make me off the menu drinks. This place seems creative enough that the outcome would be fantastic. I loved this place. The vibe, the view, the service, the offerings. Can't wait to see what more they have in store.

Can say enough, I fully recommend the experience. Drinks were a 10/10. We got the "Fourgasm" which was a cheese cake with sugared berries, carrot cake with figs/dates and nutmeg, a chocolate cake which was next level and a devils food cake. The carrot cake was okay not great, the devils food was so so but the chocolate cake with the Berry Naughty with a dark chocolate rim job. That made that cake wow! So, desserts were part of the experience and feeding one another along with the atmosphere, great spot!

Loved the dark atmosphere and romantic vibes- we only wished we had known about the Friday/Saturday night performances that are offered, so we could've planned better (maybe next time). My hubby ordered the dessert sampler... truthfully, only really would order the cheesecake and chocolate cake- the other two samples were odd tasting (but every palate is different)- just would not order it again. I do think a nice gesture of having a free dessert, being it was our anniversary, would've been nice (just a future suggestion). Street parking available and a game bar is next door, if wanting more fun entertainment after dessert!

From the minute we got to Savannah, people kept telling us we had to go to Savoy Society…read more At first, we didn't really get the hype because from the street it's very much giving strip mall vibes. But our hotel was down the street, so we kept passing by it... and every time, everyone outside looked hot, clean-cut, stylish, and very millennial. So eventually we were like okay... clearly something is going on here. The inside is casual and kind of quirky, but in a way that somehow totally works. Very 1950s. Loved the climbing monkey lamp. The bartenders were awesome. Super friendly, fun to talk to, and gave us great recommendations for the rest of our trip. They made us modified espresso martinis based on what we liked/didn't like and absolutely nailed it. Then I got a pickle martini with no vermouth and it was honestly one of the best martinis I've ever had. Like genuinely incredible. It's my new fav. Exactly the kind of place we would become regulars at if we lived here.

The crowd is another reason we keep coming back, it's always a good mix of people, and the atmosphere just makes it easy to settle in and enjoy the night.
