I gave this little joint a 5 for their street tacos. I would rate it a 3.5 for dinning experience. Really it's a hole in the wall but, dang the street tacos are the BOMB!! Got Al Pastoe tacos, they were good. Meat was tender but lacked a bit if flavor. Adding the green salsa added to the flavor. However when they cook the meat they need to continue to marinate because having it cook all day dries it out. I really dislike writing negative reviews, but this place is a shit hole now. First off the salsa bar is disgusting, dirty and the salsa looks old. We came in late at night and the cook was prepping the Al pastor meat for the next day with his bare hands, no gloves. He was stacking the meat onto the rotator stick and didn't have a hair net. Only had a b-ball hat on. He .was standing on a stool over the meat which could easy cause his sweat and hair to fall onto the meat. Gross!!! The most upsetting part is the menu prices. They say the tacos are 1.89 each and 2.59 for the tounge tacos. When I checked my receipt I realized they over charge for each taco. We paid 2.35 +tax on each taco. The tortillas are store bought and the meat is dry. Not that great of a deal when you can go to a restaurant and pay the same amount for decent quality meat, salsa, and condiments. I used to love coming to this place since I was a kid, had an experience there last week and was scammed out of $54, they ran my card charged me twice then told me it didn't go through and made me pay cash. I printed out a bank statement took to the owner who said he that is not a statement that he needs to see the final statement I get in the mail in order to give me my money back. I filed a dispute with my bank and have to wait 10 to 30 days to get my money back. I have since heard of a few other people I know who went through the same thing.
