What was surprising was their banner said, Grand Opening Dec 29, 2025 and the store sign was Fresh Bagels and Cafe, so I was a bit confused. Well, it was bagels I was looking for so I gave them a try. Upon going in, the place felt brand new, the smell of fresh bagels, and a very eager and helpful staff. I got the spinach and Parmesan bagel, jalapeño Cheese and a plain cheese bagel and of course some cream cheese to go with my bagels. The place is very nice and spacious and next time I'm in the area, I might have to eat in. As for the name, apparently the Blue Mountain Bagels permanently closed and Fresh Bagels and Cafe opened here. Now they have a location in Buena Park, but I'm not sure if that's still open or not, however their Yelp page is still here. So hoping they create a new one for this GG location or update it.

This was not the case. I don't even think they use panko breadcrumbs. I'm guessing they use corn flakes, but it WORKS and gives the perfect crisp to the protein! The salad and rice were also a good portion to share if you're not starving. The restaurant is very casual and has a laid back vibe. The inside was full of students studying, and young families so we opted to sit outside in the fresh air. Prices are very reasonable. The establishment is accessible and the service is great! There was also standing water on the floor with no wet floor signs, barriers, or any warnings whatsoever. This was a clear slip-and-fall hazard in a busy restaurant. I calmly brought it to the attention of the manager on duty, Julie, and pointed out how dangerous it was--especially for guests using wheelchairs or with mobility needs, this was particularly concerning. Instead of addressing the problem, she dismissed it as "not a big deal," refused to complete any incident report, gave me a negative attitude with a mean facial expression, and then called security on me as if I was the problem. When the young security guard arrived, he asked for my ID. I politely refused and explained the situation calmly--he looked surprised but not defensive. I have photos documenting the ceiling leak, standing water, and lack of signage. This experience was disappointing and unsafe, especially from a hotel restaurant attached to a family theme park. Management should prioritize fixing hazards and training staff to handle legitimate guest concerns professionally rather than escalating them. I hope Knott's / Six Flags investigates and improves. This was my first time coming to this restaurant.

The churro french toast is unlike anything else out of all the brunch places I've been to. It's the fluffiest and sweetest. The cream cheese icing is amazing with the cinnamon and sugar. The whip cream starts sliding off since the toast comes out hot, but it definitely pairs well with the icing, syrup, and french toast. The ranchero skillet comes with sauteed potatoes and egg on top. It was a good size for singular brunch or sharing! The french toast qualifies to be the best I've ever had. Absolutely unforgettable and on the top of my brunch favorites!
