Unfortunately the food was not good. Chicken fajitas were over cooked, the chicken was very dry. Our server failed to bring items asked for such as water refills and lemon for water. At one point the sever mistakenly mixed up drinks between some of the people at our table. We did have a big group, unfortunately our server was not prepared. read more

Hubby and I have been coming to this place for dates since we started dating in 2017. It's been awhile since we've been here since we recently had a beautiful baby boy and every time I come here I want to try a drink and today was no exception . We purchased $100 gift cards for $80 at Costco today and decided to go ahead and spend it here! We love this place! We always sit at the bar area and today Stephanie totally recognized us and it's been almost 18 months since the last time we were here! Way to go Steph! We love the atmosphere and the music that plays in the background. It always makes we want to dance in my chair especially after a cocktail or two Usually we get a drink off the happy hour menu but since we had that extra $20 to splurge I decided on the Pineapple Jamaica Margarita and added tajin on the rim! It was bomb! Off the happy hour menu, we decided on mini tacos, street corn, and BBQ sliders. For me the mini tacos are a yes! The street corn is off the cob and not quite street corn-ish. It's got a lemony tang and it's missing the classic mayo, tajin, and cheesy deliciousness that you would expect from a classic street corn off the street vendors. The BBQ sliders fell flat for me as well. They just didn't have the full body flavor of a good BBQ sauce and so I had one taste and gave it right back to hubby. All in all it was a good experience and we'll still be coming back. For this experience I'm rating it a 4. Great food, so fresh an the flavors are on point, l have been missing out for years. I've worked in the area for 8 yrs an l never felt the need to stop at El Torito. I had it in my head for some reason El Torito food would be bland and a step above fast food Mexican, wow was l wrong. I've tried the 4 item macho combo, cost is $21 but it comes with everything, taco, enchilada, Chile relleno and Tamale, also rice beans and a scoop of cornbread, delicious. They also do great $10 breakfast on Saturdays if you sign up for the rewards. read more

Beware of the Cantina side of the Restaurant. The service was pretty terrible, they blow up music like a night club to the point your ears would pop. Several people complained about the same thing while we were there, yet the DJ would purposely turn up the music. We couldn't even order food from our waitress due to being so loud. Along with that there wasn't many people in the Cantina to begin with yet are waitress was hard to find most of the time we were there. Overall I wouldn't come back here, they completely lack basic service not to mention the Happy hour food items are completely gross and bland it all tastes the same I'm terribly sorry to this restaurant I'm typically very chill about food but y'all need to work some stuff out. read more

Man, I really hate to do this, but I haven't been here in a while and I usually come to the buffet in the weekdays, but it's absolutely changed but getting very cheap with the food for example that she's enchiladas most of mine had no cheese that was a rolled tortilla and no one did have cheese. I could barely taste the cheese. A lot of the food was burnt. The customer service was OK. Seems like the place is in Dire Straits of a remodel. I really hope to get it together here. And how much forgot even the corn cake is absolutely disgusting. There's no flavor at all. This place has changed. I hate to give it a two star but yeah it's necessary. read more
