I always have a great experience here with the staff. I get my order, it's delicious and hot, and I feel so bad for them for the awful drunk and aggressive people they have to deal with. Ambiance is great when you're just in your booth eating your meal. I usually get a build your own grand slam and a hot chocolate. Hot chocolate has refills which is great. All of it super yummy. Orange juice is also yummy when I order it. Unfortunately once you leave the peace of your booth you have to deal with the drunk and aggressive people near the cashier to go pay your bill. I literally had two guys threaten to jump me if I stepped outside after paying because asked them to stop being so awful when talking to the cashier, that I waited inside for my Lyft. Not the first time something like this has happened here. Honestly, I feel like this Denny's needs to hire security at the door to protect their workers. Something is off about Redlands. Five stars to the staff. Minus a star for the fear of other customers. read more

No, no no no no. We both ate there late one night after a gig and got food poisoning. I have known other people who have eaten there recently and also got sick. I don't know what's going on with management or staff safety protocols or cleanliness, but this place is not kept clean. I don't think I'll ever step into another Denny's anywhere-ever based on how sick we both got. Hell to the no to Dennys in Redlands for sure!!!! And it's sad because we used to eat at the Denny's in Redlands often when it was located in the mall parking lot across the street. We ate there all the time after gigs in downtown Redlands and we loved it. The staff was friendly. The management was great. The food was yummy. I mean it's late night food but it was still really good. Not anymore. Yuck. Once it changed locations, don't know what the heck happened, but you couldn't give me free food from that place no way. I hope they figure it out and get their act together soon so more people don't become sick . read more

I have now eaten here three more times since my last review for this Denny's. And both food and service have been consistently good. For one late-night dinner I had a Lumberjack Slam with pancakes, ham, bland sausage, and very good bacon and eggs, while Diane ordered a Build Your Own Slam with Scrambled Eggs, bacon, double Crispy Hash Browns, and added Cheddar Cheese in the eggs. Our waitress kept saying, "I'll be with you soon" without actually following through on that pledge, The place looked to be so short staffed that we only saw one server and one cleaner in the restaurant. On the second most recent occasion involving another late-night dinner I enjoyed a cup of very good, hot and steaming Vegetable Beef Soup served in a crock, followed by a very good Country Fried Steak accompanied by Mashed Potatoes that were intended to be Roasted Redskin Potatoes. Service was fine. On the most recent visit for lunch just three days after the not so great experience just reported at the Denny's in North Las Vegas, the place was packed with diners amidst their last-minute Christmas shopping. Diane and I both had Build Your Own Slams. Hers had double Crispy Hash Browns, two Scrambled Eggs with cheese, My order was a Build Your Own Slam that called for two eggs, Hash Browns, and Blueberry Pancakes. With Cary's Sugar-free Maple Syrup the pancakes tasted a bit decadent. And service was excellent. XXX-1/2 stars overall for these three visits. read more

It's been a min since I last step to any Dennys restaurant. My nephew was raving about how good their Zesty Nachos were. I had to give them a try myself. This was my first time coming to this Dennys, located in Redlands, CA. 4/5 Good My server recommended getting the seasoned fries. It has good portions and the seasoning was on point. It's not like tiny bits and pieces at Sushi Niku from last night's SMH. My waitress took good care of me while I was dining there, asking if everything was OK and refilled my water each time I was out. I can't believe their tap water tasted so clean I couldn't even taste any bitterness or smell any harsh chlorine like at the AYCE buffet at the Palms in LV SMDH. 3/5 Ok The full order of Zesty Nachos was just OK. It would be better if they used some refried beans and actually had grilled proteins instead. Also, they use slices of avocado, not guacamole, FYI. N/A Bad, nothing bad to report. I told my nephew if the Zesty Nachos don't taste good i'll be getting a refund from him LOL. My nephew doesn't really know what he's talking about, but I can understand he's just a kid, still growing and continuing to learn which place has good food or mediocre as they come. I'll give him a pass for now, but hey, at least tonight's food was way better than the one on Colton CA SMDH. This Denny's seems more focused on towing cars than serving customers. They will tow your vehicle if you park here and go to one of the nearby restaurants, so be careful. Instead of worrying so much about other businesses, maybe they should focus on improving their food and service. With so many better restaurants nearby, it's not surprising people choose to eat elsewhere. If the food and experience here were better and consistently brought in customers, they probably wouldn't be so worried about their parking lot. read more

My brother and I decided to come here on a Sunday around 10. Super amazing staff, we were welcomed at the door with smiles, and quickly seated. We then met our AMAZING waitress Veronica! Such a wonderful, kind, and friendly lady. She made our dining experience blissful. Not only did she go above and beyond but also enhanced the overall atmosphere of the restaurant. GREAT 24/7 DENNY'S w/ FRIENDLY STAFF! My party and I rushed in before an event we had at the Redlands Bowl and we remembered that there was this Denny's nearby on Redlands Blvd. Last time, service was meh so we came in with low expectations as this was simply a necessary situation. Fortunately, the service is sooo much BETTER now! Our waitress Sera was proactive and helpful! I had no idea I could substitute wheat toast for 9-grain pancakes, now I do! There's a 99 cent charge since it's a specialty pancake, I was totally okay with that. I'm just happy I learned a new ordering hack! The Denny's was very clean and I love how spacious it is! It's pretty massive and has a large extra dining room for big parties. It's a pretty tame spot, it's good for families and friends. I was pleasantly surprised to see how much this diner has improved. I recommend the Ultimate Omelette it's filled with veggies and meat, it's the "ultimate" protein omelette haha. It was so flavorful and really satiated my breakfast craving! read more

My friends and I came in and were completely ignored. The employees working the night shift treated us very poorly. She specifically had bangs and was a red head!! While we had been waiting right in front of them for over an hour, they immediately seated another group of customers which were GUYSSS as soon as they arrived. The staff were incredibly rude, dismissive, and unprofessional throughout the entire experience. We felt disrespected and unfairly treated, and it made for a very disappointing visit. On Sunday the 15th of February, my wife and I along with my two children went to dennys for breakfast. When we were sat we were not given the specials menu which has your 5.99 slam offerings. I got up from the table and went to the hostess in the front and asked for the special menus. Her reply was "our manager said we are not offering this menu". I replied "excuse me, you have the sign in your front window. We just saw the commercial on tv. This is illegal". The hostess then replied, "well that's what the manager said". I then told the hostess I would like to speak to the manager and went back to my table. A few minutes later, a bald stocky 5'10" tall man arrived at our table. I asked for his name and he refused to give it. I then proceeded to ask why that every time we come here are specials are not being offered or the menus given out with the listed and advertised specials. I told him the hostess said that "the manager" said that they were not offering the specials today. He then changed his story saying "oh you have to go up and ask for the menus" which I did and was refused them according to the Managers instructions to his staff. This manager then proceeded after being caught in his lies refused to serve my wife and I, my 11 year old daughter and my 4 year old son and threatened to call the police. I'm a lawyer and a US Marine Corps Veteran. This is absolutely unacceptable behavior by any employee and disgusting for any customer service based business to condone or tolerate in its establishment or operating procedures. The fact that he, "the supposed manager" refused to give his name says it all. The store number is #7284. If this was my manager he'd be terminated immediately. This Denny's is in the heart of downtown Redlands. With a large parking lot it's very easy to park anywhere and it's rite across from the CVS shopping mall. It's open 24/7 and is a frequent place people come to visit after a late night adventure in downtown Redlands Now on to my order! I ordered the sweet cream cold brew coffee and the strawberry stuffed French toast with a side of over hard eggs and sausage . These were new items so I had no choice but to try them! As for the cold brew it was an intense mixture of water and syrup. I do not recommend it to my fellow coffee lovers especially for almost 6 dollars with no refills. The strawberry stuffed French toast was very sweet. I actually prefer the taste of French toast as the strawberries were very overpowering so I scooted them over to the side and enjoyed them on their own. The cream in the middle of the French toast slices were a nice touch. The mixtures of the cream and strawberry syrup made it juicy where I did not have to add any syrup at all. Definitely not dry and would recommend anyone who wants a sweet breakfast meal. The over hard egg and sausage were good. Nothing out of this world. Just a good tasting sausage and egg. worst restaurant ive ever been to. i ordered a grand slam after just getting off a 18 hour shift and was very tired. i am a african american woman of power and was very excited to eat my grand slam. i went to the bathroom and there was a bloody tampon on the floor. when my food arrived there was flies in my food . when i complained the waiter called me a hard R N word. We went to eat at Denny's, and our vehicle got towed from their parking lot. One of the people " in my party" stayed eating at our table while me and others went to get gas fore our vehicle had run out of gas. We closed our bill when we got back with gas which means technically, if one of our people in the party remained at our table until we paid the bill (it shouldn't matter that we left for about 1 hour to walk to get gas). Be careful if you are going to eat there and at any given time you walk back to your car from Denny's and then walk out. It cost me $641 to get car out. It has been the most expensive Denny's dinner I've ever had. Still trying to contact manager for help. read more

If you arrive at 5 am you will be seated quickly. I stopped by with my daughter en route to Ventura. A little pit stop never hurts, pancakes for my girl and a cup of coffee for me. Sweet, the server was kind, tables and seats were clean. Our orders were taken promptly and my daughter and I were chatting away. Denny's is an All American Classic spot to drink a cup of coffee and meet with your old time friends. I don't mind it, lol my wife wouldn't be caught dead in here though. Was contacted by the manager over a negative review that I posted, she offered me a complimentary meal to make amends. Today I decided to take her up on it, big mistake. We decided what we wanted and the only way to order was by phone or in person, so we ordered by phone and picked up the order. Well my complimentary was worse than the first order they messed up, steak was tough, grizzly and overcooked. The grain pancakes looked and tasted like someone, literally, took a handful of bird seed and threw it in the middle of each pancake. This Dennys has gone to seed, pun intended. read more
