I can only speak for the nachos and they were just okay. Nothing about was amazing or bad, but it felt a little lackluster and texture became interesting after 5 mins. OG chain Mexican sit down that actually hits the spot. Bomb chips and salsa, hearty portions, reasonable prices, and plenty of options. I could eat the chicken enchiladas with a side of sweet corn cakes weekly. The OG Sunday brunch still packs the house for a reason. I along with a friend decided to enjoy one of my favorite meals and dining establishments on 02/02/25 for Sunday Brunch which runs from 9am to 2pm. We arrived for our 10:45am reservation around 10:30am. We were welcomed by an associate outside their front door at a check-in area. We were walked into the restaurant and explained about the various choices available for the Sunday Brunch- I've been there many times and probably only tried/eaten 20% of the offerings- the other 80% were appetizing but I can only consume (without wasting food)- if I put something on my plate- at least 95% of the time I eat it all- buffets are great values- but food wasting by visitors- cost future diners money- since restaurants have to recoup that loss and/or increase pricing or cut down on choices. I coincidentally was there to celebrate my birthday. All items on my plate were extremely tasty- I didn't even venture into the dessert area (they have great choices) but I was so full- but had enough energy to get a birthday flan- which Benny (General Manager) sent over along with three great singing employees- okay I'm lying- "okay" singing voices- with the Birthday song with of course the added mexican flair! We have lived around here for a long time but never ventured out. Now that we have a little one, we figured this is a perfect spot for us and we weren't wrong. They have a good sized kids menu, and a family like ambiance. We ordered the shrimp enchiladas and the birria. Both were good but the birria was pretty soggy when it arrived, if the shells were a bit more crisp we would give this a five star. Good drinks and good service, we will be back! read more

Came in for a quiet Taco Tuesday about 5pm in the bar. We had Daniel as our server and met Karla behind the taco bar who served us. She had a very friendly personality and excellent customer service skills. She welcomes you with a smile while she fills your plate. She was even courteous enough to ask if I wanted all my sides on the same plate, as some prefer a separate plate. The excellent service and the yummy tacos will have us coming back for more!! The fajitas had about 4 thin strips of bell pepper and the onions and peppers were burned-black. There may have been a whole tablespoon of guac (that's probably generous). Sour cream was $2 more! The steak was tough and overcooked. Just not great. Portions were OK, except for the guac. Expected better for $30. Nice location, love the atmosphere. We've passed the is place so many times but this was our first time trying El Torito. Tasty food, excellent service. Staff is all very welcoming and friendly. The Definitely isn't the place you go to for cheap Mexican food. It's more of a higher end option. When I'm in the mood for drinks I definitely want to try their margaritas. They look delicious and also try their happy hour Chips and salsa were good while we were waiting for our dishes. We got the carne asada burrito and the supreme fajitas. Portions are huge, you can for sure share if you wanted to. Carne asada burrito was even good the next day. Wish they had a "dry" burrito on their menu. Fajitas were presented beautifully but they can be improved. The steak and veggies were well cooked and delicious. The shrimp was overly salty in my mind whereas the chicken was rather bland. Rice and beans are delicious. Wish they came with more tortilla. We were only given 4 tortillas for the entire dish The sweet corn was different, eat it while warm. I really enjoyed it. OMG! The service was excellent and the food was wonderful too. Isabella was my server and she took care of me and my party as if we were family. She was kind, welcoming, warm, and friendly to us. Our food was hot, fresh, delicious with nice size portions. Isabella came over several times to make sure we were happy and satisfied. From the get go, the host was very friendly, asking how our day was and wishing us a Happy New Year. Memo is an excellent server. Having been in the restaurant business for many years, I recognize a good server, and Memo is among the best. More often than not, service is not notable, but Memo was very attentive and a very good up-seller ( something only those in the business recognize). My wife ordered a margarita and he asked, "large or small" but with a Jedi Mind trick to get us to order the large. His table-side preparation on the guac was on par. Specifically their complimentary, freshly baked chips, coupled with house dips, were without a doubt, unbeatable; one would have to try and compare to appreciate the difference, which exactly was what I did. I do like El Torito. My wife and I are "regulars" to the point where the waiters know what I want to eat without ordering. They just ask me if I want the usual, and I say "yes" and it all comes. Food and service has always been good and I appreciate the 10% discount from my AAA card membership. I recently noticed that they started charging a "Surcharge" on the receipt, which I dont like. The receipt does not show 4% - its just a fee. I reversed the math and its 4% off the NET subtotal of the bill. The AAA discount is only off food and non-alcohol, so ignore the AAA math. But 88.70 - 7.80 AAA Disc = 80.90 * 0.04 Surcharge = 3.236. At least they round down instead of up. So the surcharge was 3.23. For me, I would prefer to see the menu prices go up 4% or take away the AAA discount. But when I see hidden fees, I get the feeling that the corporation is skimming off the top and undercutting the consumers. So I deduct the surcharge from my tip. I hate doing this as I like the waiters, they're all nice and they know me. but I am not going to pay a 18% tip + a 4% surcharge on top. So im not paying the waiters. Which sucks, but the corporate office is forcing my hand on this. read more

El torito is always a go to for my family and I. Solid food options and pretty good chips and salsa. Service is always hospitable and welcoming. Dessert options are good too. I usually get a burrito, enchiladas, or fajitas. The little corn cakes that come with a lot of their dishes are our favorite. Usually no wait because they have a lit of seating. My coworkers and I came for happy hour - and El Torito did not disappoint! We chose to sit in the cantina for the happy hour (which is 3pm-close btw!). The cantina area is a tad smaller than I assumed, but everything worked out! We started at the bar and waited for a bigger table to open up to seat us 4. We tried the guacamole & chips, mini tacos (steak & chorizo), and the sopes (chicken). We all loved them! Perfect appetizer size for snacking while having a drink! Speaking of drinks - I had a mango Cadillac margarita and Ray the bartender made them perfectly! All us ladies were loving our drinks! The hostess greeted us upon walking in.
