    QUESADILLA SPECIAL
    Jessica L.

Relaxed and chill Mexican spot. We had a group of 6 and came in kind of late for dinner and they were very nice not pushing us to clean up and go. Unlimited chips and salsa. We got a quesadilla to share and it came with 2 bowls of consommé. It could use more cheese inside. I hope one day they have a salsa station! Next time I hope to try the birria ramen!

This restaurant is casual. It has a semi fast food atmosphere. There are plenty of tables indoors, as well as, outdoor patio tables. Television screens mounted on the walls. Clean and sparse, nothing fancy. I ordered the Birria ramen. Honestly, it was a little too salty and the noodles tasted exactly like the ramen noodles you buy at the grocery store, packaged in plastic. The meat was not high quality either. I enjoyed my drink. Service was friendly and efficient. Parking: Free, covered outdoor mall parking.

Got the Classic Burrito with asada and no rice plus Chips & Guacamole Sauce. The burrito was tasty. The chips were medium thickness and crispy. The guacamole sauce was creamy. Service was very friendly.

    Taco Tuesday

Looking for a new Taco Tuesday spot and this place popped up! I'm pretty picky about my street tacos but I have to admit I was pleasantly surprised! I tried, carne, pastor, carnitas n chicken (in order from favorite to least). But I thought they were all good!! What I really enjoyed was it was not greasy as some tacos can be. Only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is due to the place is kinda hidden in the mall area. Which why I think there were not many patrons inside. But once you find it, it's a nice clean location and the gentleman at the counter was very nice n explained the top items they are known for. Which is birria. It's a short drive for us, so we will definitely be back to try out some new items. If you're in the area, give it a try!

This is the spot of lunch!! Always fresh and always quick! Great for getting a bite to eat on your lunch break.

    Fuego Nachos with chicken

I tried the Fuego Nachos this time and chose chicken for my meat and asked for the jalapenos on the side. It was good and they would have been perfect if the chicken wasn't a bit dried out. The chicken bits had a good flavor though. Maybe it was pre-cooked? I don't know. The service is always good here and the other dishes I had here have been yummy but the chicken bits on the nachos... not so much. :/

Tasty Birria Ramen! Enjoyed sitting outside at a sunny table. Green sauce had a bit of heat with Cilantro, red had a huge heat kick.

This time I got the taquitos, and they were pretty good! Definitely a little challenging to eat, but tasted good. And they tasted very fresh which was a perk. Would go here again!

The sign on the door showing birria was very enticing so I decided to try this place for dinner after my workout. It's right in the center of the outside mall across from the Christmas tree. When I walked in around 6pm there was only one family there but a few people were coming in for pickup. I ordered the quesabirria and the fuego taco with asada. It took about 5 minutes to get my order. When the lady Mariela brought the food, I noticed there wasn't any salsa or Birria sauce in the side. I've never had a birria taco without the Birria sauce. That's the whole reason I ordered that taco. When I asked her where was the sauce, she said did you want sauce? I said yes and can I get salsa too. She said red or green and I said both. She looked a little perturbed that I said that which is weird because don't most people want salsa with their Mexican food? Lol. The family waiting for their take out heard our interaction and made sure to ask if there was salsa in their bag too. The quesabirria was good and hit the spot. I really should have just had that. First off it's cheaper than the fuego taco and it tastes much better. The fuego taco with asada was not good at all. The asada was way too salty for my liking. I used all the salsa and had to dip that taco in my birria sauce to make it edible. I asked for a spoon and once again Mariela seemed annoyed with me. Maybe she was just having a bad day but she never thanked me, checked on me (the only diner in the restaurant), or said bye or anything when I left...not even a smile. Even though the quesabirria was good, her vibe was bad. All in all I wouldn't come back here or recommend this spot to people at my Equinox gym nearby. There's so many other spots in the area so next time I'm in Rolling Hills Estates, I will try them out.

The good: I tried a fish taco, quesabirria, horchata, peninsula burrito and tortilla chips. I liked the spice and vegetable on the fish taco. The tortilla was crunchy on the quesabirria. There was both indoor and outdoor dining options. The outdoor space is right by the splash pad so this is a nice food spot to visit when taking the kids to play in the water. I liked how they had a variety of kid meal options for around $9 that came with free ice cream. The quesabirria special came with a free drink. The horchata had chunks of rice inside so it was texturally interesting and chewy (which I liked). I liked that it wasn't too thick or creamy. The ambience is very casual. The bad: The music inside was a little loud but only because I had a baby with me. The burrito was just okay to me. I would've liked more vegetables inside or salsa. They didn't give any sauces on the side but my husband used my moms salsa from her quesadilla. They forgot the horchata at first and we had to remind them about the drink. They accidentally brought my husband's burrito out to the wrong customer. The interesting: They also sell mangoneada and flan.

    Lime and cucumber

Good service really nice people. The drinks are fire the lime and cucumber. Fresca is fire. I come here all the time. Food is good too. Customer service the best. The owner really nice.

Today was the asada vVda burrito. Deassada was fresh, tender and juicy with lots of flavor. All the other ingredients blended well. It was on a smaller side but just enough. Albondigas was the worst of the order. It was hardly a soup that brought savory broth feeling and tender meatballs that comfort you. Instead the broth was super bland, meatballs were flavorless and too firm to cut with the. Had lots of veggies which was a plus if you like sweet with veggies which I do. I just wish they were also tender, swimming and good broth. Most restaurant serve fresh chips and salsa which they did. Complimentary chips were hard. This also was too heavy on oregano. Ordered some guacamole but had to ounce for them to cook fresh tosadas so we could eat with the guac instead of the hard chips. $14 wasn't too bad for the price and the portion. I did enjoy the one fish taco that I ordered. Was huge portion but stacked so high that you could barely close the tortilla. This is the first time I bought a flour. Tortilla worked well for the taco. It was also bland but I was able to salvage it with some of their spicy salsa that I requested. Places are heavy on the alcohol and drink menu which likely is a draw. I actually really love the Paloma which was non-alcoholic. However, the food must meet the mark and today I am sad to say it missed on several points For my standards. The location is nice right on the Redondo Beach strip with so many food options to choose from.

Hmmm... let's see. Zero stars if I could. Epically horrible…read more First, I've patronized this location multiple times prior. It's a small joint, basically takeout and delivery. Has typically been decent. This last was absolute $hit. Lemme elaborate... Wifey got the classic chicken salad w/balsamic dressing. Far from classic. Loaded with iceberg lettuce and I mean loaded. The least expensive inclusion in a salad. That said, while it is supposed to come with cucumber slices, it did!!! All 3 of them. Lettuce was obviously not entirely fresh as there were soggy limp leaves throughout. The grilled chicken was dry and tomato slices were about an inch thick. The tomatoes and dressing were the best part of the salad. Wifey refused to eat the vast majority of it as thoughts of salmonella and psyclosporiasis began to dance through our heads... On to my "Maria's Salad Burrito w/shrimp" and an avocado "extra". (For a mere $3.50 extra I might add). When they advertise "with shrimp" understand they are being literal. One effing shrimp in the entire burrito. ONE. O.N.E.. ONE... As for the avocado, it too was virtually non existent. Maybe 3 little fingernail sized pieces. Will never ever go back to this piece of $hit establishment. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. I refuse to be shamed. You, Prontos, have been.
