The spouse had Chilaquiles Verdes (plain), I had the Huevos Norteños and our kiddos had El Clásico (pictured). We devoured everything. Carlo is super attentive and the food service was fast. This a cool little spot, I've driven past a couple times and finally decided to stop by. The lay out and decor inside was really cool which was what brought me inside first. The food options sound delicious and filling. We ordered the chilaquiles and the asada burrito. Both were good, but nothing super spectacular. Lady at the register was amazing. Unfortunately our food took so long - in person to go order. We placed our order at 12:32pm. We received our food TO-GO at 1:32 There's only 1 person in the back working/ cooking. An older lady. 6 items were ordered. The register lady kept telling the cook in the back she was missing items over and over. What should've been a quick grab took way longer than it should've ever taken. The big red flag I should've first listened to was they didn't answer the phone. Asked for compensation or refund but she had to get on the phone and call a manger. 86$ later and it's already 130- typing this as we get some assistance. An hour later and we get a "discount" of 25$ back. Worse part of it all... the food was not good whatsoever. The tres leches French toast was DRY. A real tragedy! Food is decent, nothing that will blow your socks off. However the service is terrible! You will wait to get seated, they will take your order and not bring your drinks for 20 mins after you stop them to remind them. The food takes almost 1 hour to arrive and "server" staff doesn't come back to check at all. No refills on drinks, no utensils, or condiments. When I walked to the restroom and passed by the kitchen all the wait staffwas hiding on their phones. Completely ridiculous. Save your time and money and go else where. read more

We have come here 3 times I think so far and the food has always been very good. My favorite is the chilaquiles which I have had each time with one time being the torta version. Service is good and it hasn't been too busy the times we have gone. They do have music and TV but not that loud that you can't chat with friends/family. Everything was bad. I Really wanted to like this place but it is one of the worst restaurants I have ever been to. They have good ideas but the execution is Terrible. I went this morning. I got the "vuelve a la vida" breakfast which comes with eggs with machaca, beans, potatoes sausage, bacon and French toast. The eggs were disgusting. Pretty much no machaca in there, but plenty of nasty grease that tasted awful. The sausage was yellow. I don't think it was pork. Maybe it was horsemeat. Nothing was good. The bacon was bad. Even the refried beans were not good. I also paid extra for "cafe de olla." It was Super distustingly sweet. I Do NOT recommend this place. As much as I want to support them and I would Love to See them succeed, You would be better off going to Norms or Denny's or anyplace else. The Quality of the ingredients is Awful, and the cooking should be outlawed. The waitress was Nice though. read more
