You're supposed to wait to be seated, but since there weren't any other customers, I was told I could sit anywhere I wanted. The majority of the tables seat four, with a couple tables that seat two, against the wall. I ordered the Chilaquiles. It was tasty. The portion was huge. Enough to share for 2-3 people. Once inside, what you find is a very nicely situated restaurant. The tables are all very well separated, so you're never too close to your neighbor. Thus, you'll always be able to enjoy the conversations with the person you go into the restaurant with. In terms of their food, yes, they use the name huevos in their restaurant title, but they are really much more than that. They offer a really complete menu, with a whole lot of options, including vegan meals. So, if you want to stay on the healthy side, this is definitely a good place to eat. The food here is all well-prepared with very fresh and tasty ingredients. What they offer is based around Mexican cuisine, with with a modern edge. It's all really very tasty. One thing that I've noticed while eating here is that it is not a super popular restaurant. Thus, a lot of times you'll go in there and you may be the only customer. Making it a very private, enjoyable experience. The staff here are all super nice. So, they're always happy to help you make your choices, take care of you, and do whatever it is they need to do to make your dining experience enjoyable. Overall, this is a very good restaurant. The food reminds me of traditional home made Mexican food. Delicious! The service is okay. They only have one server on the weekends so be ready to wait or ask for everything you need when you're placing your order. Oh and there are NO REFILLS. You have to purchase the drinks individually. The spouse had Chilaquiles Verdes (plain), I had the Huevos Norteños and our kiddos had El Clásico (pictured). We devoured everything. Carlo is super attentive and the food service was fast. The music was a bit loud for my taste but the music selection was fantastic. Really set the ambiance. This a cool little spot, I've driven past a couple times and finally decided to stop by. The lay out and decor inside was really cool which was what brought me inside first. The food options sound delicious and filling. We ordered the chilaquiles and the asada burrito. Both were good, but nothing super spectacular. The chilaquiles were delicious but a very big portion that I'm definitely gonna make sure we share it next time, the chips were still crispy, both red and green sauces were delicious. The tamale torta was a bit small which the server made sure to mention but my husband said it was the perfect size since he isn't a big breakfast eater and he thought it was delicious. You will wait to get seated, they will take your order and not bring your drinks for 20 mins after you stop them to remind them. The food takes almost 1 hour to arrive and "server" staff doesn't come back to check at all. No refills on drinks, no utensils, or condiments. Service is good and it hasn't been too busy the times we have gone. They do have music and TV but not that loud that you can't chat with friends/family. Everything was bad. I Really wanted to like this place but it is one of the worst restaurants I have ever been to. They have good ideas but the execution is Terrible. I went this morning. I got the "vuelve a la vida" breakfast which comes with eggs with machaca, beans, potatoes sausage, bacon and French toast. The eggs were disgusting. Pretty much no machaca in there, but plenty of nasty grease that tasted awful. The sausage was yellow. I don't think it was pork. Maybe it was horsemeat. Nothing was good. The bacon was bad. Even the refried beans were not good. I also paid extra for "cafe de olla." It was Super distustingly sweet. I Do NOT recommend this place. As much as I want to support them and I would Love to See them succeed, You would be better off going to Norms or Denny's or anyplace else. Bad first experience. For our group of 4. Our food took 50 minutes to be delivered while other tables where there were 2 people amd came about 15 minutes after received their food withing 20 minutes. We only ordered chilaquite and French toast. When the food came, ebrrything was almost cold, it wasn't hot food anymore. While checking the ketchup we found out the ketchup was expired. We got notified that they reuse the bottles amd fill them up with non-Heinz ketchup. I didn't eat my eggs since who knows if it's actually replaced or when does it expire.
