We had been here twice before quarantine and it was a five-star experience HOWEVER today we were disappointed with our takeout experience. I wanted to be fair so I gave it FOUR stars but under regular circumstances I would have given it THREE stars. First I have to say the food is VERY good the problem was with our order. The mixed combo was missing one of the meats and the French fries and you pay $24.99 for a dish that's missing 1/3, it's not acceptable. The combo was wrong and since I don't like Gyro meat and it's what I got it means I only got 1 out of 2 meats that I paid for. Since it is Mother's Day we decided to enjoy takeout but paying over $60 and the order being this messed up was very disappointing. This is a hidden gem. The food was fantastic and the servers/owners are attentive and generous. The only disappointment was that we had called before arriving to make a reservation, and were told that one wasn't necessary. After arriving, the owner asked us if we had a reservation! I have been looking for a good Mediterranean restaurant and I have finally found it. El Turco Grill did not disappoint. I had the combination shish and Adana kebob, served with rice and salad. It was flavorful and delicious. My husband tries to eat vegan when we go out to eat, so he ordered the stewed okras. Although he enjoyed it, he says he would have preferred a little more spice to the Okras. For dessert we had baklava and Kazandibi, which is the most delicious milk pudding. We also were served Turkish Tea at the end of our meal. I Will definitely be back. I would recommend this restaurant. read more

Before I get to reviewing the food, the service was impeccable. The owner remembered me from the last time I came which was a month ago, which says a lot about the quality and attention you'll get here. We got greeted with a complimentary appetizer and before leaving we received complimentary Turkish tea. Quite rare to receive this sort of treatment anywhere nowadays. I got the El Turco Mix platter and in 15 mins the food arrived and every piece of meat on it was perfectly spiced and cooked. We had the El Turco mix, appetizer platter, and falafel to share between the four of us. Their portions were huge and we barely finished. I have a little girl and they even gave her a little toy and checked up on us consistently if we needed anything. Wow, El Turco blew us away! We are visiting from Michigan and stumbled upon El Turco. The service was incredible!! We honestly felt like family as soon as we entered. We needed a place still open between 9 and 10 pm with veggie options. So glad we came here! The appetizers were solid. Got a mix of three. Very nice server with helpful suggestions and much knowledge said they opened just this Thanksgiving -- the chef came out to greet us too - generously offering tastes of grape leaves and Turkish pudding.
