I found Elaine through Groupon. There were a few microblading Groupons, and I'm extremely happy I chose Elaine. When I called her for my appointment, she was very polite and attentive. My appointment was at 4 pm, and it lasted until about about 7. She took her time to numb the area every time I needed. We talked about so many things, she made the time very pleasant, and she ensures you are satisfied with the progress of her design. The result was amazing! I love my eyebrows!!! I used to get lash extensions, but just don't have time every three weeks to get a fill. I actually have pretty thick lashes, they are just stick straight. The lash lift is a wonderful way to save time in the morning and even make no-makeup days look polished. The procedure itself is relaxing, just lay there with your eyes closed for 30 minutes. I purchased a Groupon for microblading at Elaine's business after my sister told me that she is really good at what she does. I didn't know what to expect or whether it would be a good fit for me. Before my appointment I made sure to do my research and how I wanted my shape and color to appear. Upon arrival to Walnut Creek, it was a little difficult finding her office because there were a few buildings and inside the buildings were many, many rooms. There is a big parking lot there though so that was good. Her office is small, but very peaceful and relaxing. She took the time to examine my eyebrows and note how they weren't the same shape and thickness because of how I over plucked them ( never going to do my own eyebrows again). She then proceeded to measure my eyebrows and after showing her what I wanted, she agreed and drew on my soon to be brows with a pencil. After she numbed me the procedure started. The pain wasn't too bad, only hurts when the numbing cream wears off so she had to hurry a little, but no biggie because she knows what she is doing ! Aside from adding perfect strokes into my sparse hairs, we had very pleasant conversation about our lives and how she just opened her shop up this past February. After applying a second numbing cream and adding more strokes, she carefully examined my brows making sure that they were perfecto! I absolutely love the attentiveness Elaine gave me because I mean eyebrows are very important! When she was done she gave me an ice pack and an instruction paper detailing what I needed to do post care. Overall I definitely recommend this place to any and everyone in need of eyebrows. I should have written this review earlier but due to my travels it's much delayed. I have my touch up (included in the package) about 4 weeks ago, I couldn't be happier with my decision to have microblading done by Elaine. Like other viewers, being the first timer, I also tried to do some homework in searching for a good place but overwhelmed by search results. So I decided to ask around to see if anyone will give me a recommendation. The office manager (a makeup artist before) of my dentist office actually gave me the recommendation. She told me that she has done extensive research on this topic as she wants to have it done one of these days. She searched through internet and came upon Elaine's business - looking at Elaine's credentials (where she learnt her skills), studied online photos etc. Based on the recommendation, I decided to call Elaine and set up my appointment. I was so happy with this decision. Elaine is very patient, professional, and so good at what she's doing. All my friends are very impressed with the results, they told me they saw other people did this before but mine looks so good and natural. Now after 2 months since I did this, I still think this is a very good investment worth making - now I can just wash my face, put on lipstick and ready to go in the morning.
