These guys are great. I had a few outlets I wanted to have be in compliance with code (GFCI outlets within 6 feet of sink/water), adding 2 outlets to my backyard, and a couple of repairs/troubleshooting with light/fan fixtures that were having issues. I have used the team at Electrical Insight for multiple projects around my home, both interior and exterior. They have done projects as simple as replacing lightbulbs (I still can't believe that I didn't try that first) to renovating an old existing 220 line that used to power a hot tub and ran under a concrete pad. Electrical Insight was able to help me with all my various electrical needs - hiding exposed wires, moving junction boxes to make room for plumbing, replacing my doorbell with a newfangled camera doorbell, updating and adding outlets, and rewiring for new appliances and light fixtures - whew! It was a lot. They came in lower than competitors on pricing, and the company is licensed, insured, etc. so it was worth every penny! Xavier was awesome and very personable, in addition to being very knowledgeable, and he and Julian did a great job. We ran into an electrical issue right before Christmas. The folks at Electrical Insight got Xavier out to our house right away. Xavier proved to be very knowledgeable about working with older homes such as ours. He took the time to educate us about wiring in old homes and presented us with a couple of options, one being a "wellness check" of our wiring. After getting the estimate for the work we were able to schedule the work just a couple of days later. We cannot say enough good things about Xavier. He was on time, conscientious, personable, and showed pride in his work. Let me start for saying I hate to leave bad reviews but my experience was so horrible they kept my money for a service I never received and damaged my drywall for a service I didn't request. Stay as far as you can away from this company they are dishonest, half way criminals and overpriced!! I called electrical insight to get a quote, they told me they would come over to give me a estimate, the technician who came looked like straight out of jail and high but I felt bad not to let him in so I did, I explained the job I agreed to the price and when he came over to start working we just got back from a trip we were alsleep in our room and to my surprise when I woke up he did a fan I never even told him to do and asked me for more money to complete the job. He even tried to blackmail me saying I can either pay a 1000 more or he can do it on the side for 250 my husband and I felt threatened. So we paid for the whole bill even though we didn't receive service for what we actually needed. Instead doing what he supposed to do he broke my drywall I called the owner and showed him photos, he even was surprised that we paid. He came over and said he will have some new put them on and refused to refund my money!!!! Or pay for the damages!!! - We had a tesla charger that we needed to put in as well and we thought we could use it as credit for the tesla charger but he actually made us pay for that too, I feel we are very reasonable people and understand things can happen wrong but it's all on how you respond to problems that make you a 5 star business and this is not one of them. After this review the owner reached to me and finally refund 500 of 800 some part of that to cover the repair. I am glad he did the right thing I just wish we didn't have to go through this to get my refund. read more

It's a $50 thermostat from Lowes that hooks up to (wait for it) electricity! But an electrician cannot do it from this company. Don't bother with them. I purchased a sauna that required a 20 watt plug and circuit breaker. Initially a gentleman named Doug came to the house and provided me a quote. Of the quotes I received I liked Doug the best. I felt he and his company would be honest. For the work Ian came over (on-time) and started doing his "electrical thing". Once the work was completed we realized that there was an issue. I wasn't sure I needed to test the "honest" feeling I got so fast... Ian called Doug and we all came to a solution that was more than fair for me. It's easy to give a five star review when work is done and everything works as it was indented from the beginning.
