There were little hiccups here and there not to mention material shortages, BUT the communication we had with Cordin, Kyle, and Eric, was great and it was what made us look forward to the finish line. I contacted this company because I saw all the positive reviews on Yelp, which is usually a good sign. My wife and I were in the market to build a pool and this was the first company we decided to go with. I was connected with Anthony who promptly scheduled an at home visit for the initial consultation. That visit was perfect. Anthony was thorough, punctual, and really brought the project to life. We were excited to move forward and didn't even consider other companies because of how well that initial appointment went. We scheduled our quote and design appointment 2 weeks later on a Tuesday. My wife and I work very busy jobs, so it took some shifting around to make our next appointment work. On Tuesday, the day of the appointment, I get a call from Anthony exactly 10 minutes before our scheduled start time. He tells me he can't make it because he has to be somewhere else for another project. As frustrating as this was, I understood. I'm sure there's a lot that goes on when it comes to projects of this kind. I followed up with him shortly after asking if we could reschedule for later that same day, since my wife and I cleared our schedule for this - No response. I followed up the next day - no response. I finally decided to call the company. I explain what happened and they tell me he isn't working today and would text him personally to add some pressure. About 5 minutes after that phone call, he responds apologizing because he was "in a meeting" and telling me he could reschedule for the next day (Thursday). This is now a working day for me, I tell him I could, but explain the times I'm unavailable. He tells me he has other projects on Thursday and says Friday works best, which is also a working day. Again, he gives me a very small window of when he's available because he has "personal things" going on. His responses are coming in 5-7 hours after the messages are sent, leaving no time for adjustment in my schedule even if I wanted to. He finally tells me he will be out of town and could schedule an appointment a week later. I text Anthony explaining my frustration. The lack of accountability on his end was even more frustrating. At this point, I've decided this was a waste of time. For a project of this kind, I would've expected a little better communication and respect for our time, given the 5 start reviews on yelp. Keep in mind, we are only at the pricing stage. At this point we just want to know what we're looking at when it comes to building this pool. I can't speak for other experiences, I can only say that mine was terrible with this company. read more

Before meeting with Eric we met with a couple other pool builders. One of them did not listen to what we wanted at all and the other did a generic pool style for us. When we met with Eric he listened to what we wanted and he created a beautiful and unique pool that combined my style as well as my husbands. We love that it isn't a generic pool that you see in everyone's yard! Eric was amazing at making changes to keep the pool in the budget that we wanted to stay in and he never acted annoyed by it or pressured us to spend more money. We were very impressed with the crews that Eric had work on our pool, they were all such hard workers and they all did an amazing job! Eric would stop by during and after his crew was here to make sure everything was perfect before we moved onto the next step. He would point out and fix imperfections that we didn't even notice. He was always great about communicating what was happening and answered any questions we had along the way. Eric made us feel like family and not like we were just another business transaction. We wanted a custom pool in our small back yard. When we met with Eric the first time he spent some time measuring the back yard and we sat at the kitchen table while he sketched a custom design that he felt would work. We fell in love with his design and within three weeks had his firm under contract. He told us the project should take three months depending on inspections, he was right and he brought the project home on schedule and on budget. As you can imagine adding a pool to you back yard is very disruptive to you life, however he was always considerate and listen intently to our concerns and reacted to rectify the issue. He was always responsive throughout the process, generally returning texts and calls if not within minutes certainly within the hour. Working with Eric and his team was a pleasure. I give them 5 stars and my wife and I (and our dog) love the new pool, it was everything we imagined and more! I have and would recommend him to anyone I know wishing to add a new pool. We love our element pool! Turned out beautiful. So much attention to detail during design and construction. The tile and the paver work is incredible. You can tell they are craftsmen and artists with the placement and cuts. We asked a ton of questions and made a lot of adjustments, and they were patient with us every time. The process was quick too. Eric showed up, on time, within 24 hours of when I asked to talk about building a pool. I had a preliminary color design the next day and pool/spa construction was complete within 4 months. We used this company two times just a few years ago and we have probably referred about 20 people in the last few years. The owner went to a larger corporation for a couple years and then I learned he went back to being independent and I would highly recommend element pools and spas to anybody looking to add an experience to their backyard. We live in our family home that we purchased in 2015 and we have at least 10 years here and we have no intention of making any changes to our backyard. Great from beginning to end. Let me start by saying I had other pool companies tell me over the phone that if I wasn't prepared to spend a large amount of money they "wouldn't even bother driving out to the house". Yep that was actually said to me. Then I called Element Pools & Spas, from the minute Anthony showed up on my door step to today (even though my pool was finished ~5wks ago) nothing but awesome. I was comfortable from the start with Anthony & Kyle, and knew before they left the house during the initial consultation visit, we were going with Element. He said no project is too big or too small. Personable, honest, direct, available, (even on weekends or when they're on vacation). Anthony and Kyle answered any and all our questions. Anthony met with us to help with tile selections and we were never rushed, no matter how many times I changed my mind. About 3 weeks after the pool was finished I had a question about the pump, texted Anthony/Kyle on a Sunday and they took the time to figure out what needed to be done. As I said we're ~5 weeks out after completion and Kyle still comes by to take care of the chemicals until Gavin takes over. I've heard more than once "don't we worry we got you!" and they truly do. The pool they built is beautiful and looks exactly like the rendering. I highly recommend Element Pools & Spas. You can't go wrong them, they are very knowledgeable, honest, and fast, fast, fast.
