I now realize I've been driving the extra distance for subpar food for the last two years when I could have been enjoying Sunriver all this time. Dad didn't feel like cooking while mom was away so we gave Sunriver a shot. We were promptly seated when we got there. The wait staff worked as a team to get us drinks and our food order in. We ordered a meat lovers pizza with the hot honey drizzle and got to watch them prepare it and toss it in their fire oven. The crust was airy and delicious. If I'm being honest, it reminds me of how Pizza Hut used to taste in the 90s and I mean that as a huge compliment. Unfortunately, I got the wings for myself so I had to patiently wait for my kids to say they were too full before I snatched a slice. I went home and promptly texted the misses that we needed to come back. I don't think the kids would mind either! Enjoy!

I had been to other Sunriver locations but this last visit was my first at the Eastside. It's very open with a friendly industrial feel and big windows for natural light. They have a huge selection of their beers, plus an amazing food menu using local produce. They also have a large selection of cans and special bottles for to go service. The draft selection is excellent, I had one flight on my visit. On my visit bartender Keir was fantastic, super attentive and friendly even as the day was getting busier. I had the special squash soup of the day, and it ended up being one of the most memorable meals of my trip. Prices are reasonable for the quality, highly recommended.

There was 21 of us in our group that would have ate here multiple times had they had what we wanted or open when they were supposed to be. Very frustrating as this used to be one of our favorite stops. 1/3/25- Just tried Greenside Café again 2:15pm (Friday). Says they are open but everything is closed up. Lights off and doors locked. Went next door to the golf pro shop. They had no idea what was going on. No note. No nothing as to why they aren't open. I find this place keeps closing early. Do not have adequate supply of food. Ex; one of their biggest sellers (cheeseburgers) they were out of all week.

We ordered three meals (salad, fries, burger, fajita bowl) and were waiting patiently when a group of two sat down well after we ordered. One of the line cooks literally came out of the kitchen, took their order directly, went back, made their food, and brought it out to them. They were very clearly friends or family of the employee. While I totally get wanting to take care of your people, their food came out 10-15 minutes before ours did. Using your position in the kitchen to completely skip the line and delay paying customers who ordered ahead of time just isn't right. We don't mind a wait, but we do mind blatant favoritism disrupting the ticket flow. Otherwise, our was really attentive, and the food was delicious.

The place had a cozy atmosphere, but most importantly, the staff were friendly and knowledgeable about beers, something I really value in a beer bar. To be honest, I had gone to another brewery near the river in the area earlier where I was treated terribly by their bartender, and I was starting to think that was just the vibe in Bend.
