When we moved to Georgetown, I spent a lot of time reading reviews and even visiting dental offices before deciding which one I thought would make my dental visits less dreaded. My husband had already chosen a dental practice he thought would be good so I agreed to get my teeth cleaned there. The practice he chose had not been at the very top of my list but had been acceptable. Just my interaction with the hygienist assigned to me on my first visit was enough for me to know this was not the practice for me When I explained about my previous painful experiences and my apprehension about even having my teeth cleaned, her response was, "Well, this IS a dental practice. EVERYthing is going to be uncomfortable." I decided not to proceed with the appointment and left. I went back to the research I had done. RR Dentistry had lots of very good reviews and their web site emphasized "patient comfort" so that was where I chose to make an appointment. It was the right decision. I could not be happier with my choice. Every member of their staff from the New Patient Coordinator (Susie) to the dentist (Dr. Cory Roach) to his assistant (Lisa) was both friendly and competent . Everyone put me at ease. Dr. Roach was thorough and gentle as he performed an extensive examination of my teeth and mouth. His assistant (Lisa) was also very kind and compassionate. The hygienist who cleaned my teeth (Pam) did so with zero pain. I feel much better about future appointments now that I have found a dental practice whose staff truly is concerned with patient comfort as well as excellent dental care.

The front desk folks are AWESOME!!! In the back dr Hoffman is great. Ensures you are in no pain and comfortable. Explains things well. His assistants are again just super nice and caring. Just got off the phone w/ 'Tina', who claims to be the office manager. I had just received a notice for an outstanding balance from services rendered back in Oct (over 6 months ago). This was the first notice we'd received. My wife called and was told my insurance company didn't pay as much as they originally thought they would. My wife immediately paid the outstanding balance. I then looked at the itemized bill and immediately noticed a charge for a treatment I've NEVER received and ALWAYS refused. I called back and spoke to Tina who said it was in the hygenist's notes. I told her that was not correct and someone was lying or inflating notes/charges. I told Tina I was done with their practice and hung up. Tina called back and explained again the charge was in the notes and I again said someone in their office was either lying or inflating services. Tina started to say she could possible reverse the charge. I told her to have Dr. Wichita call me directly. She said well he doesn't own the practice. I told her I didn't care as I was done and would not be back. Don't waste your time w/ these folks. They're dishonest and will try to upsell you on services you probably don't need.

I was a patient of Dr. Jain's for few years, and as a patient, I had a very positive experience. In…read more2023, we moved away, and our insurance changed. I had undertaken a treatment in June of 2022 that concluded before we left in 2023. In September 2024, more than a year later, Dr. Jain's office reached out to let me know that my insurance company refused to pay the remaining balance for treatment that we began in 2022. Dr. Jain's office and Delta Dental Insurance have an arrangement wherein they pay for treatments month-by-month rather than all at once. Of course, I was surprised to hear that I owed a balance that meant my responsibility was more than 30% higher than what was quoted to me in 2022. Although their office did initially make clear that I would be responsible for costs not covered by insurance, at no point did they communicate that my insurance company would spread these payments out. As I worked with the office to investigate this issue, they quoted me different balances, and they sent me inaccurate statements. It also took their office more than a year to identify this problem. Because I could not trust their statements, I had to do the work to verify their billing with my insurance company, and even now that I have paid in full, I am not confident that I have not been cheated. They were unwilling to negotiate the remaining balance. They did offer me an 8% discount on the remaining balance. The bottom line is that more than a year after my treatment ended, I ended up being charged 30% more than what they quoted me when I agreed to the procedure. In my view, Dr. Jain's practice is fine for routine dental work, but not for more costly procedures. Look elsewhere.

However, they require x-rays before cleaning. I have had my teeth clean many many times over the years. Last check up was two years ago but last cleaning was 18 months ago at a different location. No one has ever required that I have X-ray before a cleaning. I have had yearly check-ups before at a different dental facility that asked me to sign a waiver for the service but none that ever mandated that service could not be provided without X-rays, so I just had to leave. Will be looking for another place. Too bad because this place is convenient for myself and my family.
