I typically don't go to this location, I usually go to two other ones and I go there A LOT (that's not even an understatement). I am always satisifed with my order cause flavor is consistent and I never came up with any issues at the other Ding Tea locations. The only reason why I visited this location was because it was on the way to work and thought I should get a little pick me up (despite the fact I have a semi long commute to work and may be late). Before I explain why I gave this place two stars, I'll start with the positive. I went in yesterday around 2:20 PM (07/27/2019), which is a Friday. There was no wait and the staff were friendly. I ordered a total of five drinks, and the time they took to make the drinks didn't take that long. However, they placed all the drinks in one tiny bag and it looks like they barely fit. I didn't have time to check the drinks before I left because I was going to be late for work. On the bright side, they got the order correctly. My drink and two other drinks came out okay, however the other two drinks was not sealed properly. One of the drink had a pretty decent size slit (where it should be sealed on the rim of the cup), and it got all over my coworker's blouse when she grabbed it (given the cup is soft plastic). She got pretty upset since it's her first time trying it too. The other drink wasn't as bad, the slit was smaller, so it just spilled out a bit on the desk when my other coworker took it out of the bag (we work in a professional setting). I am not sure if it's the machine that caused this, or the fact they were trying to use less bags so by overcrowding the drinks in one bag it caused the slits. The only reason why I am writing this review is because I feel like that's an issue they could have easily prevented, especially given the fact they were not even remotely busy at all at the time I went in. All the other locations I've been to (at least four other different locations, but I frequent the two places closest to me) they do a quick test where they tilt the cups sideways to make sure there's no leaking before they put it in a bag and/ or hand you the drink. It's a simple step but every location I've been to have done that. I always thought to myself that's pretty smart. A simple task but it really does affect customer satisfaction. Other locations typically limit to three drinks in one bag and so on (I tend to order quite a few every visit). This location however, failed to do that. It's unfortunate because I don't think this is a common problem, at least I hope not. I rave about Ding Tea quite often, but I don't think I can recommend this particular location to my family or friends and I can't justify coming back. read more

Wow this place takes forever! I arrived with no one in line and two parties waiting for drinks ahead of me. It took 10 minutes to get my drink. The people in front of me had also only ordered a couple of drinks so it wasn't like some massive order in front. There is one cashier, and one barista. While I was waiting, a crowd of 10 to 15 people showed up and I felt so bad for them. On my way out I wanted to let them know they'd probably be waiting there for 30 minutes. This isn't the first time this has happen to me here at Dingtea but there's an awesome restaurant in that plaza that I eat at frequently so Dingtea is most convenient. The tea is good though. I tried the honey boba and it was ok. I won't be returning here unless I had an hour to kill with absolutely nothing to do. You really shouldn't have to wait that long for milk tea. read more

Shittiest wait times ever. It's like they want you to wait... I never liked ding tea until I tried their wintermelon milk tea and that's the only thing I'd ever get here. I'm writing this review as I'm waiting. I think I wait less when it's actually busy and more when it's not so busy.. because it's Friday and there's no line right now!!! I really liked the other Ding Tea in Garden Grove, so I decided to come here since it was next to the place where I was eating dinner. There was a short wait, but nothing major. I'm giving a 2 Star for this location because they charged me wrong. They charged me for a upsize when I didn't mention anything or said anything close to "large" during my order. I was confused because my drink was almost $5 for a small. When I asked them, the on register was like "oh, you didn't want a large?" Of course I didn't, nor said anything close to ordering a large. He said okay, I'll refund 50 cents. When I checked the menu again, an upsize cost 55 cents. I could care less about the upsize charge, but if you're going to charge your customers for a large automatically, then why offer a small size? There are plenty of boba places that offer one size with add-ins with one cost, maybe Ding Tea can consider this so every customer will have to purchase a large. This boba place offers just mediocre drinks that are not worth the price point. I used to go here often before I discovered different boba places that are worth the money. The service is fast and the workers are helpful but I would only recommend this place if you're nearby. The drinks here can be on the sweeter side so I would recommend getting less sugar, especially on milk teas. Also my favorite topping from here are the rainbow star jelly's which are pretty unique since I don't see that topping at any other boba shop. read more

One of the-worst Ding Tea franchise, I ever been too. I ordered my tea and i said less sweet. However , when I my received my tea it was super sweet. I went back and asked for them to adjust it. The guy that worked there with the black slick back hair had mentioned.....next time, mention slight, not less with a little attitude. I thought that was a bit rude!!! Another boba stop you should put on your list! I always go with the Signature Milk Tea w/ Golden boba. I don't think there is a difference with golden or the regular black boba but the texture is great! Soft and chewy. Luckily when I stopped by there was no line, but be ready to wait for a long time when the store is crowded. They tend to take a long time. read more

Before COVID, I would come to Ding Tea with my friends after school to hang out and drink some boba almost every day after school! Every drink I have tried here has been great, and I would recommend the winter melon milk tea, the flavor is absolutely delicious. I find that the customer service is always friendly to my friends and I as well. I really like the atmosphere of the place as well, it makes it really easy to kickback and relax after a long day of school. read more

The Winter Melon Milk​ Tea made me a fan! It was thanks to my coworker who suggested it. Plus, ask for crystal boba and you get the perfect cup of milk tea in your hands! For someone who mostly opted for the regular House milk tea, Thai or Taro (since I'm afraid to get disappointed with a drink), this is a good change. So, if you wanted to try something new or couldn't decide what to order, I dare you to get this one and you will not be disappointed. One of the best I've tried so far! It is a very bad experience. I dont know why this place is busy even though there is a lot of boba shops around. I come here a long time ago when it was a grand open. It didnt impress me that time. Come back today and It was so bad. I ordered 2 jasmine tea with sea cream and ask them to add spenda instead of sugar. The cashier told me they re not sure they can do it. I've been a fan of Dingtea Bolsa for years but recently I feel like their drink and service quality are going down. I ordered a medium oolong milktea less sweet and half ice. My cup is not even full and I guess bc I ordered it less sweet so they put lots more creamer in. It doesn't have oolong tea taste at all. Comparing to other boba places, they always fill the cup full even if I order it with no ice. Dingtea Bolsa really need to keep their game up since many new Dingtea opened up if they want to keep their customers. read more

I recommend to get the signature milk tea with golden boba. The boba there is sweet and tender. So far my favorite boba joint. The line is usually long and the place is pretty small, so it's understandable when the workers gets frustrated. I'm giving this establishment 3 stars due to their customer service. The Good: The drinks are good here, my favorite is the signature milk tea because I prefer more tea to milk ratio. It will definitely keep you up at night. Their boba has a good chewy texture. The Bad: They don't fill up their cups for the most part. The last time I brought it up the employee remade the drink for me. But this time when I showed the employee how much air there was in my drink and asked if he could just put more black tea in it, he said the space is for when the ice melts. WTH? This was definitely my favorite boba shop around but it's not worth the 30-45 min wait for a drink. Lately, the turnaround time has been at least 20 mins+.... you have been warned. Side note ---- On NYE, my friends and I came in around 8 and as soon as we got in line one of the staffs quoted us a wait of 45 minutes. We were okay with it as we were killing time before countdown. 10 mins later .... we got our drinks! Ordered matcha milk tea large which taste very average. Price is cheap here actually around $3 per drink. The wait in line is bad and the wait for your order is equivalently horribly long. This was my favorite store around the area since they first opened. I have been here for more than a hundred times. Their oolong milk tea with crystal boba is really good! However, for my past 10 visits or so, their drink turnaround time is really really slow. I gave them one chance to another but yesterday was the last straw. It was a Tuesday evening, and they were not even crowded. I came in and ordered my usual drink--just one drink and I waited for 25 minutes. Note that this was not the first time. I see orders that came in after me to be given out first. What I figured they did is they tried to make a batch of similar drink instead of making the drinks in the order placed. It was really frustrating to wait for one drink for 25-30mins. I really love their drinks, but the service is not really cutting it. Man, this place gets busyyyy so be ready to wait in line if you're planning to come on the weekend, however the wait is worth it! The service is smooth and simple. The space inside isn't spacious and only offers 5 small round tables. Everytime I visit I either get the jasmine milk tea w/ crystal boba, oolong milk tea or the strawberry yakult. You can adjust the the sugar and ice levels to your liking and orders come out blazing fast. This is my go to Ding Tea due to differences in ingredients some other Ding teas are lacking. I would have given this location 5/5 stars however deducted a star for their mobile phone ordering system. When calling they simply don't pickup or if you're lucky after calling several times to put in an order to beat the line they somehow still mess up your order after repeating it back to you on the phone when placed. Yakult yogurt drinks for the win!! I love the tart flavor of Yakult, which is a yogurt/probiotic drink, and it tastes even better when it is elevated with different fruit flavors. My favorite is the strawberry because there are fresh strawberry bits all up in there. So good! There's nothing like it anywhere else and I have yet to find any other boba spot with Yakult offerings. This is a nice little boba shop set in the middle of two power houses- snow monster and theloop. It most definitely outclasses its competition. I got the oolong tea with "golden boba" and my friend got the jasmine green milk tea with "golden boba." She is an avid tea drinker and had some complaints about how strong the tea was. If you like the strong "tea taste" then definitely check this place out. I'd recommend anyone to try this place at least once even if you prefer the sweetness of tea.This place is a little cramped so studying is out of the question here. I'm always on the lookout for a new boba place but I always come back to Ding tea. Their drinks actually taste like tea. Most other boba places have drinks that taste more like juice and lack the green tea flavor, but not here. They're always super quick at making the drinks. My favorites are the lychee green tea and pineapple green tea (both with the golden boba). They're not watered down at all and are super refreshing. I will say I have tried the strawberry green tea and it was not my favorite. It tasted almost like watery green tea, but otherwise their other drinks are great! read more

The drinks are so inconsistent it is crazy! I am sure there is a formula, how hard is it to stick to that?? Lately it is so watery its like drinking regular tea with cream coloring... no cream, no powder taste. Nothing! $4 for this is not worth it. This Ding Tea location is simply THE BEST of all the Ding Tea around here and it's so good to read other reviews where people mentioned they truly follow the measurements and don't diluted their drinks like some other locations (Garden Grove is an example of a bad Ding Tea). I totally agreed, the drinks at this location are the best. And the staff is nicer as well. All the drinks I ordered always are so so good and satisfying. My top favorite is signature milk tea and their crystal boba seems to be better than other places too. For fruit tea, we usually get passion fruit green tea or peach black tea with no sugar. The worse ding tea I've gone to. I was craving it so I went here because it was the one closest to where I was at and it was about to close so I wouldn't have been able to make it to any other ding tea. I've been here before when it first opened and got the Hokkaido milk tea. I wasn't a big fan of it, but I figured I would give it another shot since all the other ding teas are sooo good.
