Typical country diner vibe with strong, but mediocre diner-style coffee. Comprehensive menu, particularly with regard to breakfast choices, which are available all day. Perfunctory, yet polite staff to greet and seat you. Portions are decent, and, unlike the coffee, the food is quite tasty.

The service was awesome. We were there when they opened. The coffee was mediocre, but hot on a cold November morning. The triple berry pancake and bacon were delicious. The place needs some remodeling, but it has charm. Most of the booths seats were grungy looking and torn from continuous wear.

Rolled into town for business and was craving the German pancake here and man oh man it did not disappoint! I ordered the combo with eggs and bacon, and my husband ordered the hungry rancher and we shared everything. All the meats are delightful! Bacon is great, ham is one of the best, and sausage is nice. The eggs are cooked to perfection as ordered, and the hashbrowns were crispy and tasty. The biscuit is so dang soft and pillowy, to die for! And of course, my beloved German pancake with powdered sugar, butter, and lemon is the star of the show! It's majestic! Coffee was extra strong and we loved that. What a fantastic brunch we had here, thank you Elmer's!

Elmers is an Oregon diner chain. It is reliable, tasty and with good service. Their clientele tends towards the gray hair side, but that's okay by me because I am gray haired. My wife and I have eaten here often. Their Benedict's, crepes and breakfasts are delicious! They have a superb crabacado omelette and I also love their pancakes! Stop by for reliable, tasty and friendly diner food.

We came here with a family group. Food was good and plentiful, and everyone got what they wanted as the menu is large.

Not bad as usual. Great service and food for the most part. The clam chowder is real good. I can't complain.

Once we were seated it took about 15 minutes before we were waited on but that was because it was so busy. I was told 5:30 is a better time as it's not as crowded. You're served complimentary hot rolls topped with flaky salt and creamery herb butter which were delicious. The food was excellent. Photos posted of everything we ordered. Beautiful view of the Rogue River so I would recommend sitting outside. Great 5 Star Restaurant in Grants Pass that is a delight for visitors or if you're celebrating a special occasion.

We had the Pork osso bucco which was delicious. very flavorful and came with a side of mashed potatoes and little gourmet carrots. it was finished in a light sauce that paired well with the tenderness of the pork. We also had the steelhead which was surrounded by a cream sauce filled with leeks and mushrooms. the seafood was atop two wedges of polenta, a very nice add that allowed you to soak up the sauce. We did not have reservations as it was late on a Thursday night. But, we had to wait close to 30 minutes to be seated. The hostess was nice and seated us with our dog on the patio. the place was still full at 7:30 at night. they have a musical group playing in the background which was also additive to the ambiance. The one negative was our service. Not very personable, we sat for another 20 minutes before anyone came to our table. No water, no explanation for the delay and no apologies for the long wait. Service improved after the place started to die down, but not a great start to the meal especially after waiting so long at the front.

Stumbled upon this spot while wandering around after checking into the hotel next door…read more We grabbed a beer from the bar and settled onto one of the patios to take in the scenery. Ended up striking up a conversation with one of the employees, Blade, who was fantastic. We mentioned how much we admired the potted floral arrangements lining the patio, every detail felt so intentional and looked absolutely beautiful. Blade gave credit to one of the owners, Elvie Cartwright. Well Elvie, if you see this: you have an incredible green thumb and an artist's eye for beauty. Kudos. And excellent call on hiring wonderful staff like Blade.

After lots of…read moreback and forth communication between our waiter and kitchen staff, I was informed that they use soy oil on the entire flat top so anything cooked there wouldn't be safe for me. Unfortunate to say the least as this is my first experience with that at a restaurant. I then asked if any salad would be safe for me. He went back to the kitchen again and returned to inform me that the kitchen said the Caesar Salad, with the exception of the croutons, would be soy free. When our food arrived, my salad had croutons on it. We waved down a different waiter who apologized and took it back right away for a replacement - she was lovely. When our original waiter came to check on us, he asked us if my salad "looked safe" and chuckled. Granted, all I was eating now was a bowl of lettuce, dressing, and cheese as it was my only option. I informed him the first salad had croutons on it, which his response was something along the lines of "Haha Oh, yeah I didn't write it down without croutons. My bad." As someone with an allergy, I didn't feel like I was safe to eat anything here. The waiters attitude was not only dismissive and disrespectful, but allergies not being taken seriously is dangerous and playing with someone's wellbeing. Hopefully they'll do better in the future so others with allergies can experience a safe and enjoyable meal. In the meantime, if you have any allergies you will find better service, safety, and food options elsewhere.

Super friendly and accomodating service, with the whole outdoor dining area now spanking clean, with hanging pots of flowers, too. The food was also great! Hubby had one of Jimmy's classic burgers, and I had a Nathan's hot dog with all of the condiments. With the latter, our server graciously cut the dog into thirds because I knew I wouldn't be able to eat the entire dog. Also, the quality of the meat could be tasted in both orders. We also shared a milkshake-of-the-month--blueberry, from a local farm--and hubby added an order of onion rings. I tried the pickle fries a few weeks ago and they were flavorful, perfectly fried, and not greasy at all. The only reason I've given Jimmy's four stars instead of five is that I'd LOVE to have my hot dog bun warmed, just like it's done in NYC and Chicago. The bun wasn't cold, but room temperature. Hopefully this is an easy fix and is doable. However, we will DEFINITELY be back! :)

Was so Famished I didn't bother to check when I bit into the burger...and yup, there were two tomato slices. I. removed them, and said nothing besides showing my wife the discarded things in my tray. She let one of the staff know who asked how everything was, and he was very apologetic. All that being said, Jimmy's does in fact deliver a high-quality product. And my burger could only have been better had it not tomato juice and seeds on it that were in fact taste-detected. As always, the place was immaculately clean, and the staff great.
